It was morning, in the peaceful village of Shimotsuki village. The village had not had any commotions in quite a while. Then the Gizumo Pirates had docked. The 8,000,000 beli head Gizumo, was recruiting for his crew. He had heard of the Isshin Dojo, and perhaps he could find himself a swordsman/woman, or maybe even a few. If he could not recruit anybody, perhaps he would loot the town. They had over 40 men now, and were looking to expand. Even if there was 40 swordsman they could not stop a bullet to the head, so Gizumo thought.

The pirates exited, and strolled into the town and towards the dojo. The citizens were already staring at them from a far, and they all began to back away into the corners and shadows of the town. The village of Shimotsuki had not received any pirates, at least not in a while. Gizumo lead in the front, with a large grin, he felt powerful with the people avoiding him.

"What a nice morning... maybe we will meet some strong people here, so I can have at least one worthy comrade..." Bonnet thought to himself yawning.

"46, 47, 48, 49, 50!"

Aki had just finished lifting her daily weights in the dojo, getting up from the cushioned floor and placing the weight on the floor, she yawned before reaching for her katanas and strapping them back to her waist.

"Morning." her father said as he came into the room with a tray, on the tray sat two cups of tea.

"Morning." she replied as she went over to her dad and grabbed a cup.

The two went out to the balcony and sat on the chairs which were on it. The balcony gave them a great view of the village, it looked the same however one thing was different, there was an odd ship docked at the island.

"Oh? What's this? A ship."
"Weird, we don't get much visitors."
"Indeed."

Aki sipped her tea as she looked over at the people who exited the vessel. Well, this was new.

It wasn't long before the Gizumo pirates reached the dojo. There was only 20 pirates behind him, the rest were on the ship making sure it stays protected, even though its unlikely anybody here would wreck their ship..

Gizumo stood in front of the entrance, and then he kicked the doors open. He then began to yell.

"Which one of you are the strongest here?!" Gizumo asked immediately and demandingly, holding a pistol in his hand.

The men behind him were quiet, but their hands were on their weapons. Who knew if these swordsmen/women were aggressive?

It wasn't long before the pirates found their way to dojo and just like everyone had expected, they caused quite the ruckus. The man seemed to be looking for the strongest swordsman, it was obviously the sensei and he was was about to speak up however Aki took this chance to improve her swordsmanship.

"I am." she said as before finishing her tea and walking into the room, her hand rested on the hilt of her blades.

"What is your business here?"

"You? A female?" Gizumo asked. He was quite surprised by the young lady responding as the strongest swordsman, or woman in this case...

"Prove it and I'll let you join my crew," he said. He wasn't sure if she was all talk, or if she was actually strong? Having a female would be interesting, Gizumo was still thinking about all the possibilities that could happen. If all went well she would accept? But that would be highly unreasonable.

Let's see what she's made of Bonnet mumbled.
He cracked his knuckles. No matter how strong she was, no ordinary swordsman could pierce diamond. Bonnet had nothing to worry about, as long as he was ready.

"Crew...? No thanks, I'm not willing to join a gang of lousy pirates. Unless of course, you happen to persuade me."

As Aki finished off her sentence she, drew only one sword and charged towards the man, she wasn't gonna go all out at first, she needed to know if this man could put his money where his mouth was. She held up her blade and once she was close enough, went for the man's left shoulder. She was only aiming to skim it, after all, why kill him?

"One Sword Style: Unicorn."

The dojo members sat on watched the battle, all anticipating a win from Aki.

"Lousy pirates... why you-" Gizumo began. He was interrupted by a sword to his shoulder. Seeing it in the last second Gizumo attempted to hop away, but his speed was no match for the swordsman, or woman.. The blade ended up piercing his shoulder, and he fell off balance on his arse.

"Damn you..." Gizumo murmured. He lifted his pistol to shoot, but his sight was blocked by Bonnet.

Jumping in front of him was the diamond man. It was fun time.

Great Gauntlets
From Bonnet's fingertips to just below his elbow, Bonnet started to grow diamond gauntlets. Bonnet began to throw his punch, the diamond would be finished by the time the punch came to Aki. Bonnet threw the punch at full force, he knew he couldn't mess around with her. The real fight would start now. Maybe Bonnet could represent the crew better than Gizumo...

Seeing as a new face stepped in front, it seemed he was protecting his friend. Aki and the other members of the dojo were surprised to see as part of the man's arms transformed into complete diamond! Aki had never encountered diamond before, she decided to take encounter to hone her skills. Drawing both blades, the diamond connected with both blades giving birth to a few sparks.

"I don' know who you are or how you were able to pull off something like this but I can't allow you and your crew to disturb the dojo any longer."

The leader of the dojo sat at the back of the room and examined the battle, he wasn't too shocked by the man;s ability for he had seen a similar ability before in his life. It was the power given to man by the rumored Devil Fruits.

"I do not wish to fight you seriously. There's no need for me to hurt a girl like you," Bonnet said laughing.

"I think I have gave you a reason to join. We need stronger crew mates anyways. If you don't wish to join we can always test the strength of the entire dojo," he said, this time with a more threatening tone.

Bonnet was still ready to fight, the other members of the dojo may be offended as well as the girl. Bonnet believed he could take everyone in the dojo, but not at once. It they attacked, the Gizumo pirates were screwed, unless there were other members strong but concealed like Bonnet, but there was not.

Aki was pissed. So what if she was a girl? She could still be an excellent swordsman, she hated being looked down upon because of her gender. Clutching both her swords, she quickly began to send a chain of different slashes coming from all directions as fast she could. All these slashes were roughly aimed at the diamond man in front of her.

"Two Sword Style: Twin Cobras!"

This man had the ability to transform into diamond, perfect, now she could train herself to cut through such a material.

So what if it was discrimination? Bonnet believed it was true. This girl was one of the special cases however. He knew she wasn't going to be an easy opponent, but speaking in general he had said nothing wrong. Bonnet could not lose to her, it would be quite the embarrassment.

The diamond began fading from his arms and began growing on his shoulder. Slowly, it began to cover, but not fully. When she began slashing at him, he put his shoulder in the front of his body, angled so most of the slashes were to be absorbed by his shoulder. There were too many slashes and not enough diamond covered, having a couple cuts was inevitable.

Rampaging Ram
Bonnet kicked off, and accelerated towards Aki. Like all of his devil fruit attacks, he would time the diamond to finish when he reached his opponent. The diamond had already spread across his shoulder, but if it was fully spread, it would've prevented a cut.

Three slashes landed, only one did any damage which was right behind his shoulder. The cut was about a foot in length, but it was not deep. Blood gashed but it did not prevent Bonnet from attacking. Bonnet knew he had some work to do, with mastering his devil fruit and his speed. If he was better in those areas he could have prevented the damage. It was already a shame the swordswoman had held him off this long, and had a chance of defeating him.

Aki watched as the man coated his shoulder with the same diamond material. She quickly raised her swords in front of her, ready to dodge or defend this attack. If possible, maybe even carry out a counter attack! That'd be so cool, it'd amaze everyon- Oh shit! She was too busy caught up in her thoughts that she failed to notice the man charge at her. The coated shoulder collided with her blades and caused her to fall back onto the floor. Aki quickly got back up, acting as if nothing happened but she could her a man chuckling in the background. which mad her a little annoyed.

Aki ignored the laughing man and charged towards the diamond man. While running, she quickly crouch down and once close enough to the target. Pounce back up, he blades aiming to create vertical scars on the man's chest. (Not serious ones.)

After Bonnet knocked Aki over, he prepared to ram her again. Dashing towards her, he was thrown off by her crouching down. He stopped himself from going over and redirected his attack down wards to slam her. Again he was thrown of by the pouncing this time. The blades hit him, tearing two lines through his shirt and piercing his skin slightly. Bonnet parried the blades with his shoulder, sending them away preventing major damage. This was the third noticeable cut. She really was tough.

"You're stronger than I thought." Bonnet said pausing. He attempted to strike up a conversation, he didn't need to hurt himself or her if the captain still wanted her. The crew was mostly silent, and then Gizumo began to speak.

"I am a forgiving man," Gizumo said gripping his wound. "I'll still let you join, but if not you'll be finished by my diamond man," Gizumo said as if he owned Bonnet. Bonnet ignored him, after all this crew was temporary. Maybe he could start his own crew with the swordswoman.

"Fine. If you can beat me, I'll join your stupid crew. If you can't then too bad, so sad."

Aki charged towards her opponent and leaped into the air, she raised her two blades above her head and attempted to swing them down vertically across her opponent, missing any real vital areas. She wasn't a murderer, she was just trying to beat this man fair and square.

"I have plenty men that can defeat you," Gizumo bluffed. In reality, Bonnet was the only one capable of battling Aki. Even the entire dojo and everybody else knew Gizumo was just a weak scum. The crew did have pontential if they could pick up more members. However all the strong ones like Bonnet were bound to leave eventually, leaving Gizumo defenseless in prison.

As Aki charged at Bonnet, he turned to attempt to parry ther blades with his diamond shoulder. One of the blades began to pierce him, but his twist was to reduce and prevent anymore damage.

Meanwhile he dojo in shock. She said she would join them if she lost! Was she just bing cocky, or actually being serious? How could she. What would happen if the diamond man won, he already proved himself to be strong.

The Gizumo Pirates were all cheering now. The diamond man may reel in another member. After they got her, assuming they did, maybe they could get the entire dojo to join or at least a couple more members. Realistically, that was unlikely their chance of getting the swordswoman was because of her eccentric personality. More than likely she was the only one who would consider it since the dojo was kind of like a family. It could maybe be like dominoes, once one joins the others do as well. Who knows what would happen..

"Stop hiding behind your men then fight, the only one fighting is this diamond man! You're all talk but no walk." Aki said as she continued to send slash after slash towards the diamond man.

He really was a tough nut to crack, she needed to come at him with a different approach but she couldn't think of anything at the moment. The best choice of action was to continue like this for the time being. She had to win her battle, Aki wasn't the type of person to go back on her word so she really would join them if she was the victor of this battle. She slowly began to form a plan in her head.

The blade barely scraped him once more, as his parry was successful. Bonnet had many cuts now, but no damage. Meanwhile he hasn't put anything on Aki yet. It was time to turn on the heat.

After parrying the blade with his shoulder, still in the same spot, he would kick off the floor attempting to ram her. The blades were close enough for her to block, but the power was larger due to the close distance. In this process, Gizumo took action for his pride.

"All talk?? How about this!" Gizumo yelled as he lifted his pistol.

Pulling the trigger, Gizumo shot at Aki. Gizumo was not the best marksman, but it headed towards Aki, and it had a chance of coming toward Bonnet. It all depended on how she moved to Bonnet's attack.

"Bastard!" Aki yelled as she quickly side stepped, the bullet however skimmed past Aki's right shoulder and tore through skin.

The dojo was displeased, how dare he use a pistol in the dojo! They realized this battle was going way too far. 6 of dojo's pupils charged towards Gizumo, all aiming to take him down. Meanwhile Aki panted, she was bleeding.

"Heh. A little blood won't stop me." she said as she held up both her blades, still able to fight.

Post by Anarchy Mon Apr 07, 2014 7:57 am

As 6 swordsman charged at Gizumo, his men came to support him as well. Up to 3 men for each swordsman came out with cutlasses and pistols. They slashed at the men, as the dojo now became a mess. It was like a war broke out.

"Stop!" Bonnet yelled.

Great Gauntlets
Diamond began forming around his fists, as he went back to the technique. He needed to utilize more of his reach because now there wasn't just one swordsman.

Bonnet knew the crew more than likely, could not handle the dojo. They did have a slight advantage in numbers, but all the members were buffoons. If they all had the quality of Aki, even if he won the duel she would have no crew to join.

"How about if we win, we get all the swordsmen!" Gizumo shouted, laughing maniacally (like Moria XD) as he fired his pistol in the air. The men dashed past their captain as they went to battle.

"You... bastard." Aki muttered as Gizumo laughed.

She charged past Bonnet and towards Gizumo, he wasn't part of the duel and yet he decided to attack her. He was a cheating pirck, she needed to show him his place. She leaped into the air and brought her two blades above her head, once close enough, she brought the blades down towards Gizumo's chest.

Serious, open to Frozen: Diamonds in the Rough Empty Re: Serious, open to Frozen: Diamonds in the Rough

One of the pirates at his side, jumped in the air with his cutlass to slash at Aki. Colliding with her blades, he was probably going to get mowed down since he wasn't very strong.

Meanwhile Bonnet attempted to chase her, but was stopped by a swordsman who slashed at him. Easily avoiding it since he saw him enter his vision, Bonnet prepared for another fight. The dojo was going crazy as pirates were being slayed, swordsmen being shot, but it wasn't too severe yet. There weren't any casualties so far, only injuries.

A little while back...

Sitting on the front of the warship, the marine captain Chimb was staring down the port. Docked, was a decent sized ship with a large jolly roger. Staring at it, no crews came to mind.

"Men! Search who the captain of this crew is!" the giant screamed.

The captain was a half giant, who was as tall as a house. The man was quite strong, but had nothing much to do here, until now.. He was supposed to inspect several villages, and this one was on his list. Chimb had already searched one, and it had nothing fishy going on. The search wasn't very long, but the trip was. The captain spent his entire day waiting and waiting for something for him to do, sitting on the ship.

Soon, a marine returned with an answer. Saluting, he began to speak.

"Sir! The man leading the crew is Gizumo with an 8,000,000 beli head. He is notorious for civilian brutality. There is not much else about him or the crew, besides the fact they have over 30 confirmed men and the crew goes by his name," the marine reported.

"Finally something to do. Sink the ship." Chimb ordered.

After the marines sank the ship, they docked next to the ship. Chimb hopping out first, decided to head on into the village. 10 marines followed him, and the rest stayed at the ship.

The innocent villagers were quite scared. They knew some marines were brutal, and didn't know what this man would do. Plus the pirates had already went to the dojo. Most of them had hope, but they were still scared. They knew a war could erupt with so many people.

"Outta the way!"Aki yelled as she attempted to push the pirate's cutlass aside before slashing the pirate in horizontal manner across the chest.

If this attack had landed, she'd run past the pirate and continue to chase after Gizumo. She really wanted to cut him up. That man was the whole reason why their was such chaos in the dojo. She was merely going to take down the source of the whole problem.

Breaking down the front door of the dojo, the marine captain walked in, followed by 10 other soldiers behind him.

"Hault! If I see any movements I'll cut you up. Now where is the man who goes by Gizumo?!"

Many of the pirates stopped to look at who was at the entrance. It was almost like time froze, as everybody's attention was redirected towards the marine captain.

Pulling out his cutlass, the marine prepared to attack. He didn't care if the people were good, bad, neutral, whatever. Chimb just wanted an excuse to kill somebody.

Bonnet stared at the man, still keeping an eye on the swordsman, and grinned.

This'll be fun. Looks like fighting him as well is inevitable

Punching his diamond fists together, Bonnet was ready to take him on.

"Bring it on!" Bonnet yelled, calling the marine out.

Aki was surprised to see a marine enter the dojo, was he here to take these bastards away? Hearing the marine's commands, Aki smirked. She was right, he was here for Gizumo. It looked like the marines were on their side of now, she turned to face Bonnet. The marine could deal with Gizumo, she still didn't finish her battle with him.

"Oi, don't forget our little duel!" she yelled as she ran towards him, attempting to impale him in the stomach with her blades.

Gizumo

"Im Gizumo!"

Gizumo began to step forward, after he called out the marine.

"If you wanna fight youll deal with my men!"

Aiming his pistol at Chimb, Gizumo began laughing. The captain continued to rely on his men. Soon enough, he would have no more men remaining. He would need much stronger crewmates like Bonnet if he wanted to continue relying on them. He was destined to alive tougher opponents then Chimb and Aki. Several of the pirates stood in front protecting the captain as usual, as they aimed their weapons, ready to fight.

Bonnet

"Just give up!"

Bonnet charged at Aki and attempted to punch her blades with his diamond fists. He didn't know what to do. Clearly the marines were about to take out the boss, but he still had this girl to deal with. She was a potential crewmate, but the way things were going he would have to get rid of her quick, or the marine would rid of Gizumo first.

Chimb

Pulling out his cutlass, Chimb prepared to take out the pathetic pirates. This was a great feeling for him. How he craved to pull out this blade.

Splinters
Dragging his giant blade through the ground, wooden planks came out of the ground as they reached his knees, or a humans waist. Slashing the blade in front of two pirates, the planks crashed into them knocking them over.
