On the island on San Gourdo the town's lay in ruins whilst the humble town's folk starved, their stomachs growled violently as their pockets filled with lint and nothing more. Money lined the pockets of the local pirates who'd demanded protection money as they made their way back to their lair in the North West region of the town.

Entering beneath the arch way which had previously read Gourdo Park it now read Cortez Park the henchmen carried their large burlap sacks. Walking past the trees which were planted & trimmed to perfection they arrived at the throne of their leader. Showing him the valuables they awaited his review on it. Smiling after he reached in and gazed at it with such intensity in his eyes the henchmen were allowed to progress.

Carrying the money from their captain towards the bridge, they headed beneath it and pulled on a large door in the stone wall. Placing the sack on to a platform in the bridge it was closed and the sack carried down to the lower levels beneath the park the Cortez pirates had made years ago when they'd first landed on this island.

With the leaves lazily drifting from the branches and past the leader the crew mates waited at his sides for orders. They're Captain seemed to have a plan though. And it seemed like it was a lazy one which included relaxing and allot of it. With birds tweeting up above and gliding through the air the Captain placed a hand out to which a bird rested upon his fingers. Smiling as he looked a quick few ants rushed form his body to the ant and in seconds swarmed over it. Coating the bird the ants finished with it in seconds having stripped the bird leaving behind only a skeleton sitting on his fingers.

Tossing this creature's remains to the ground, he sat back with a grin. He needed time to think where he would head next or what he would do. Till then he would rest and enjoy the millions upon millions that continued to come his way from successful strategies.

Arriving beside the captain was his right hand man who offered something to him of great importance.

Snatching it from his grip and looking over it, this captain read the poster in which it read his bounty had been raised. Smiling he begun to laugh and this laughter begun to resonate throughout the park and finally throughout the entire town sending shivers down the spines of everyone whose stomachs growled.

San Gourdo was a dangerous place and the pirate ruling over it was as the marines identified him, Public Enemy Number One.

SITE EVENT: Public Enemy Number One Empty Re: SITE EVENT: Public Enemy Number One

Post by Vigil Sun Feb 16, 2014 7:30 am

Vigil had arrived, finally. San Gourdo, the place he needed to be for the moment. He slowed done the Black Bone and anchored it in the port. Vigil stepped down from his ship and onto the port like he owned the place. He heard rumors of a pirate being called Public Enemy Number One. If anyone, ANYONE, was going to be the public enemy, it was going to be Vigil. NO ONE, had the right to that name unless Vigil said so. Vigil's anger began to grow more and more the more he thought about someone other than him being the public enemy number one. He became so angry he shouted out, "PUBLIC ENEMY YOU SHIT FACED PIRATE. GET OUT HERE NOW! NO ONE UNDER MY SEAS IS NUMBER ONE UNLESS I SAY SO. COME ON OUT NOW!"

Vigil walked off the port into the ruined looking town. He had never seen such a shitty island in his life before. He figured the pirate running this town, or so he heard, had someone posted somewhere near him. Surely he would notify the pirate currently living here.

Mishi looked at the island with a straight face. She was not happy. What kind of island was this? She looked back as the ship sailed away. It looked... Poor. She needed business, though maybe it was only this village that looked terrible? Maybe there was some kind of castle or something on the other side of it, where there are rich people.

It wasn't the rich people she was actually after, but the poor ones. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like they had much, if this town was it. After all, she paid people money for the stuff they steal, what's the point in going to an island like this when NO ONE has anything? She mentally face palmed to a day younger her, when she asked the navigator to drop her off at 'any island'. Well... She'd have to be more specific next time.

Maybe there are a couple of metaphorical jewels in this town, after all you can't judge a book by it's cover. She started to walk toward it when she heard someone shout near her. She winced, then the words sunk in. ...Enemy number one? Here?

"...What island am I on?" She called out to the shouting person, she was on another wooden dock-thing, so she had a running start if he decided to attack her. But she probably didn't have anything to worry about, no one attacks a fence if they need something to sell in the future. ...Unless they were mad.

The quiet town continued with their day to day lives growing crops, selling what they needed to passer bys each person trying to make enough money to buy their freedom. Shouting was heard outside but ignored. Some little cocky kid seemed to think he was a match for the man who had wrecked this town. Fortunately none of the Cortez pirates spent much time in the town except for the days they collected protection money.

And they'd already collected that.

In his lair Cortez resided comfortably sipping on a room temperature glass of whiskey. Opening his hand up he allowed a dog sized hornet to escape his body. The hornet hovered in front of him as Cortez reached out to stroke the hornet's head.

"Fetch me more mangos"

Nodding the hornet dashed from the room out the window and towards the large open fields behind the lair. Finding a small group of people who were packing the fruits into their baskets the hornet pointed to the baskets full of mangos then towards Cortez's lair.

"But we've just picked these for ourselves!" one outraged woman moaned before she was met with a sharp tail to the neck. This stopped her voice from whining and caused her to pick up the basket and do as she had been instructed.

Hovering over head the people made their way towards the courtyard.

Throughout the town in all corners of the town there were a few hives created from the bees that Cortez had created. This was so he could keep his eyes on the town's folk. Fortunately no one knew of his devil fruit powers as he'd never needed to use them openly.

Catching sight of a person who claimed he wanted to fight him a bee hurried back to Cortez to warn him of this young scrote. Understanding this he laughed a hearty laugh before finishing his whiskey and hinting he wanted more to his right hand man who poured him another.

Sending the bee back to its hive Cortez figured if this guy wanted to fight he could, but he'd have to find him first, because he didn't do anything for anyone other than himself.

As his crew lounged in the courtyard out front the group of people carrying mangos was let in through the gates and ordered to drop the baskets inside by the hornet.

Complying the group left empty handed and headed home. Due to being a good distance from the town it was hard to find and even get to for most people, returning back home was a challenge for the group who'd delivered their hand picked mangos but it was a journey they'd had to make many times before.

Vigil paused for a bit and waited for the scoundrel to come out of hiding. Nothing happened yet so Vigil replied to the other individual.

"Well if I'm correct, this has got to be San Guordo. Also, as you can tell, the town is a shit hole most likely because of the pirate owning this island. If you help take this piece of shit out, I'd be willing to give you any money he has. At the moment I have no absolute need for money. What do us say?"

Vigil smiled and decided since the worthless foe hadn't come out he'd have to come to him. In order to do that he'd have to take a not from a friend and search this island and ask the inhabitants of his whereabouts. Surely they'd give up someone giving them hell all the time.

Mishi's hair bristled. She looked around quickly, San Guordo? Wasn't that where.. A certain pirate was? She heard from one of the messenger birds that there was a public enemy or something around here. And what? He wanted her to FIGHT?!

"No... Nononono!" She said, backing off away from the lunatic. Some kid like him would get her killed for even SAYING stuff like that! If he's the public enemy number one, then that'd mean he'd have to do more than just simple, small crimes. He might've also have pee'd off the underground as well, but maybe she was just jumping to conclusions? "I'm not a fighter!" she called back, tugging at a bag of golden chess pieces she recently brought for half of its actual worth.

She slung it over her shoulder and ran across the pier, she had to get away from the madman and try to figure out a way to make a profit as soon as possible.

Tossing yet another mango behind him on to the pile of skin Cortez burped loudly letting a scent of mango escape his lips. Petting his large hornet on the head he could hear it buzzing beside him and grinned.

"Kapa do we have the collection from the harbor in yet?"

Realizing he'd forgotten to sort it out he shook his head a little panicked knowing just what Cortez would do.

"I-i-i-i was just on my way to collect them now."

Shotting his a glance that suggested he get a move on Kapa hurried towards the door and out of the compound. Starting the walk from the compound he dabbed the sweat from his brow away with the sleeve of his shirt.

Standing at a height of 6 feet with a long black pony tail that ran down to his arse, Kapa had thick bushy eyebrows and grey eyes either side of a narrow nose. Although simply from appearance it was clear that this guy had a hell of a chin on him and could take more than you'd think.

from the neck down his torso was on display along with several tattoos from previous gangs he'd been part of. Each tattoo trailed from the right of his neck down over his peck and down his right arm. Although a few under the shirt's short sleeve couldn't be seen.

Wearing a light blue floral shirt with white flowers outlined in yellow he could feel its soft fabric brushing against his torso. Starting at the top on his neck there was the Blue Moon Bandit tattoo which was simply a black tribal moon tattoo, next up was the Midnight Crew whose tattoo was simply a star with half of it missing as if it were going through an eclipse. Next up was half on display and half cut off by the shirt. But in full it was the Iguana Pirates tattoo a crew he'd been part of years back before the captain was murdered in cold blood by his first mate. The mark had been an iguana's head face on with the tongue hanging out. Then on his arm displayed from the sleeve down was the Wolfe Pirates another tribal tattoo of a side facing wolf's head stained around his right forearm.

From the waist he wore a brown belt which hung pretty loosely from some dark blue shorts. Spotting the harbor in the distance he whipped out the money sack he'd need to collect the money in and cracked his knuckles.

Cracking loudly he grinned. This was the part of the job he loved. Beating the snot out of weak people who couldn't do a damn thing about it.

From afar his very appearance stuck fear into the town's folk and made them wish they weren't there.

Vigil watched with a jaw dropped down in shock. She just straight up left him in the dust. Such a cold thing to do. Oh well time to start looking. Vigil walked down towards the first house and knocked on the poorly standing building.it looked like shit but still, was a start.

"Hello, anyone home? I'm here to talk to you about something important that could very well make your life better! Please?!?"

Mishi looked to the left and right. What could she do around here? Other than following that foolhardy person into death or something. She looked around, nope... Nope... Nope... She continued to look at the dirty hovels they called homes. Jeez... Looks like she won't be able to find anyone here who had enough money to buy the chesspiece collection she had.

She soon found herself at the edge of town, seemed that the place was cheap through and through. She sighed. Maybe there were other towns on the other side that raided the villages' contents? She started to walk along the raod before she noticed someone else coming down the road. She blinked as she noticed that he looked... A little intimidating. She gulped, taking a step back. Well, maybe he'll be friendly? Or a member of that crew or something. Maybe... She should go the other way, or perhaps she could sell the pieces to him or his captain?

Post by Docile Sat Mar 01, 2014 12:11 am

Vigil

Hearing the sounds of another person in the house and a voice which rung out not too familiar a small child poked her head out from behind a broken window with auburn hair draping down her shoulders she peered up at the man before her. Seeing a man standing at the door she peered overly and out at him with genuine curiosity.

Seconds after the door was answered by a woman with a cigarette in hanging from her lips in a dirty white tank top with light blue almost grey hair and a docile look in her eyes.

"What you want?" she asked as she exhaled in his general direction, it wasn't in her nature to seem so rude, but she'd suffered lack of sleep for the past 72 hours and that never did anyone any good.

Poking out from behind her legs was another of her children a small girl with so much hair it reached the ground. Peering up at the man she again like her twin looked on with genuine curiosity.

Mishi

Barely noticing Mishi, Kapa walked past her and arrived at the hut by the harbor. Banging his fist on the door he shattered the fragile door and continued knocking.

"HEY YOU ALREADY BROKE THE DAMN DOOR STOP KNOCKING!" an elderly enraged voice called out from the hut. Pausing to see he was right Kapa lowered his fist.

Handing over the bag the little voice called out.

"Sorry but I just can't do it anymore."

A few seconds later Kapa seemed to catch on to what had just been said and took a step inside. Looking down over the old man with a white beard and white hair which was neatly combed he shook his head.

"Do you need a reminder why it is you do this?" Kapa asked cracking his knuckles.

"N-No!"

A few more seconds passed.

"Well thats too bad." he replied before landing a few blows on the old man and then exiting from the little shack minutes later with a blood drenched right. Walking around the shack to a small compartment build in with a thick lock on it Kapa removed the key from his pocket and unlocked the compartment.

Reaching in he pulled out a crate which he held on his shoulder. Pulling out a den den mushi from his other pocket he called up his Captain.

"Cortez this is Kapa here, I'm going to have to use the Clamp, seems the old man can't do his job."

"Did you make him suffer?"

"Sure did."

"Good, then take your time, we're in no rush."

-[CLANK]-

Approaching the first ship Kapa reached into the crate and pulled out a small bright red metallic device and begun to attach it to the front of the ship and the harbor.

One end was a small metal loop to be attached on to the hoops in the harbor whilst the other end was a metal clothes peg with sharp jagged teeth. The loop would be connected to the dock whilst the peg was thrown at the ship's frame locked into the open position till the contact of the ship hit a switch in between the teeth causing it to clamp shut. Once it was clamped shut it wouldn't be coming off until Kapa got his payment and just to make sure it was strong enough he tugged on the metallic fiber between peg & loop before continuing and moving on to the next ship.

Post by Vigil Sun Mar 02, 2014 2:10 am

Vigil watched as the door was opened by a little girl. It probably wasn't such a good idea to allow a young child to open the door considering the fact that pirates ran this town. She peered up at him with generosity in her little eyes. Vigil squatted down to about the girls height and stuck out his hand for a handshake. He then smiled to the girl genuinely. He liked little kids.

Soon a woman trailed behind her with a cigarette placed in between he lips, he listened to her statement and wasn't even the least bit angry at her blowing the smoke in his face. He got it she was stressed, but he was on a mission.

"Well ma'am I was wondering if you knew the whereabouts of the pirate who ran this place. I'd be extremely happy to rid his existence from this island."

Vigil smiled once more and and continued to do so as the second girl, looking similar to the first, had appeared.

Post by Vaetric Sun Mar 02, 2014 2:32 am

Mishi bristled as he walked past. He was... Intimidating. As soon as she knew he was gone, she looked toward the road. Where did he come from? Maybe he lived in a richer part of the island? She could go ahead and search for it, but what if he was from some kind of base instead? She didn’t quite know the size of the island either. Maybe she should go buy provisions just in case it takes a while. She walked back into town, looking left and right. She couldn’t help but feel she was hearing something, some kind of thumping noise, but oh well. She looked around for a while before giving up. Maybe she should ask that man with the long ponytail.

She continued to search around for him before noticing the man at the docks, putting ables onto the hsips probably either to clamp them for money or to stop them from washing out. She really didn’t want to talk to his sort, all dirty and eew. But she needed to make a profit, and she was guessing he collected taxes or something for the public enemy guy. Maybe he might be interested in gold? Or he had something she could buy? She could a few tentative steps toward him, though kept a healthy distance of at least two meters. “Uhm.. Hello!” She called out behind him, putting on her best acting-smiley faces.

Is there anything… Or anyone around who would like to buy some merchandise? Or something I can buy off of you?” She said, she shouldn’t state out load she was a fence, really. What if someone overheard and told the marines? Even though there were probably no marines on the island anyway, and her appearance alone could get her incrimidated, but money’s money, right?

Vigil

Without flinching or raising an eyebrow she just inhaled before exhaling again in Vigil's general direction.

She didn't trust this weirdo who claimed he could remove the pirate nor did she like the cut of his jib. People around here only ever offered something if they could get something in return and she wasn't about to offer him anything.

"Yea right, sell this shit elsewhere. Marines have already tried dealing with him and failed what makes you so special?"

Increasing her grip on the door she was ready to slam it shut. She didn't like men and nor did she like liars so she was really aggravated at the mere presence of Vigil and his shit spewing mouth.

Mishi

Placing the third clamp onto a ship Kapa heard a voice he'd never heard before. Taking a moment to react like he always did to lesser threats, he turned after a few seconds like the dimwit he was. Looking at Mishi he raised en eyebrow. She was well dressed so the first thought that came to mind for Kapa was the mere question of what was her game?

"Depends what your sellin'" he replied before clamping the fourth ship to the docks. Two people rushed towards him at this point shouting at him about how he wasn't allowed to do such things.

Without paying much attention to them he was met with a sudden boomerang to the head which drew blood. Running down the right side of his neck the boomerang launched itself back to the thrower.

Looking at Kapa for a few seconds who stood there waiting for the pain to register they were shocked that he hadn't screamed. Until he did scream where he grabbed his head with both hands screamed stomped his feet and finally turned to tower over the two pirates.

Both standing at a height of 5 feet, one with black eyes & the other with blue. Both with silly hats on that resembled animals and brown cloaks he could figure out who they were if he could be bothered but at this moment in time he just wanted to give them a piece of his mind.

Gasping in shock they watched as Kapa brought down a fist. Slamming into the head of one of the two the other leapt back in shock.

Standing back up at his full height Kapa revealed the other one had been dug into the ground with only his head now showing and spiraling circles in his eyes.

The woman in the cloak threw the boomerang again only to see Kapa catch it and crush it in his hand. In that moment of genuine shock she felt Kapa's hand grab her throat. Lifting her from the ground to his eye level she hung struggling to pry his hands away only to feel her breath cut off.

Dropping her still body after it had been starved of oxygen, he turned to face Mishi again.

"Sorry what were we talking about?" he asked scratching his head.

He said he's here to do some business with the big iron on his hip...

Stepping off the boat was a very peculiar figure. No normal person like a bald man or one with flowing locks of hair; Down came a man all wrapped in white linen, wrapped in white linen and cold as the sea. He was deployed here days earlier and got here at what seemed like a good moment. There was a storm brewing, but maybe not an actual storm, but one that signifies troubles lying ahead in the very near future. The man scanned the town from his position and found it to be very normal; normal from the outside, at least. For all he knew, this town could be crawling with smugglers and revolutionaries, but he didn't count on something that big to be on this island. However, now wasn't the time to be taking too much time to be thinking, it was time to move out.

SITE EVENT: Public Enemy Number One 39b70fa556b2e79942f2734c9fd17a18
Lt. Tullus LeVitt

San Gourdo. Tullus had heard a lot about this place in his briefing. The common folk were being extorted by pirates and couldn't do much about fending for themselves. They starved and rolled in their suffering while the pirates enjoyed their short-lasting high rolling status. All this was about to change with Tullus here. His mission: Eliminate Public Enemy #1. Doing the task  was going to be easier said than done for man wrapped in white linen, he stupidly granted himself no additional troops and requesting some would take too long before they figure out a Marine's been posted here. No, looks like this was going to be a one man job. And so he ventured deeper into town, all while people he passed stared not at him, but the big iron on his hip. Nobody had seem him before, they didn't think he was a Marine because he didn't wear the standard uniform or suit they usually wear. They thought he was a bounty hunter. One villager walked up to ask him why he was here.

He said he's here to do some business with the big iron on his hip...

Vigil winced as she called his promise shit. He was never one to anger woman and he wasn't going to do it now, plus he was lady killer, or so he thought. This wasn't going to do, he had to woe her with his skills. Showing his powers to a civilian maybe this once wasn't such a horrible idea. He needed answers and he needed them quick.

"You see, your marines could very well be the regular old marines I'd destroy on any normal day. Me, I've got a special ability."

Vigil clutched the door as well, only he turned his hands into acid. He burned through the edge of the door a bit and pulled back.

"Now could you please help me out, plus I'm one that doesn't like angering pretty woman like yourself."

Vigil smiled again trying to reinforce his good will.

Mishi let out a ‘meep’ as she saw something hit the guy in the head, ducking and looking around for whoever threw it. “Wh-wha?” She muttered, before noticing a couple of people of people who looked a bit dwarfed by the man were staring at him, and subsequently got curb-stomped by the man. She looked, wide-eyed at him as he turned back to her and talked casually. If this were some kind of manga her forehead would be blue with lines running down it with cute large white eyes, but PFT.

U-uhm.. I.. I have s-something… To sell..” she placed down her sack o’ goodies and opened it, revealing the golden chesspieces, some ornate looking silver plates and one rather shiny-looking curvy cool flintlock pistol with a mini-bayonet attached. “A-and.. Uhm.. Maybe y-you have something to sell t-to me?” She asked, before adding on: “I’m a fence.” for good measure, he didn’t seem all that bright, so it might be prudent to tell him now. She looked around quickly for any more attackers, then back at him. “Uhm.. Yes.. A full set of golden… Chesspieces, this nice plate made twenty years ago as a set by a noble from the South blue and this flintlock was used by the pirate Volton John, who sailed to the Grandline, though didn’t return. I… Think he was quite notorious somewhere.” she nodded, swallowing.

Vigil

The woman rolled her eyes, so what he could beat up Marines and burn her door, he was thoroughly unimpressed. She'd seen a demon in a man's disguise swarm over the entire island and bring it to its knees. She'd witnessed Captain's brought to their knees, have their faces ripped from their skulls.

Public Enemy Number One was exactly that for a reason.

Not just for his strength but his vulgarity too.

Slamming the door shut in Vigil's face the woman turned to her daughters, they were more important to her than some fool who thought he could beat the current enemy.

From behind Vigil a man in a black clock sitting on the floor leaning against the wall. A voice called out.

"You want to see this public enemy do you? The scourge of this island. The Pirate captain Cortez?" the voice laughed as if it was a bad joke. That or either Vigil himself was the joke with his direct approach or bad dress sense. In actual fact it was a surprise that people knew this was exactly where the pirate lived and more so that so many people just wanted to get straight in try to defeat him and leave again.

It seemed people thought he was a push over but that as far from the truth. The bone pile at his front gate could tell you that much.

Mishi

Nodding understanding that what she had wasn't really all too impressive Kapa returned to setting up clamps. Placing the last clamp on the last ship he tossed the money bag into the hut towards the old man and returned to Mishi.

"These sound pointless to me, but my Captain might not think so. How about I introduce you two? Maybe you could work out a deal or sumthin'"

The flintlock sounded nice to Kapa, but he didn't want to show interest because he knew if he did it just meant spending his money when instead Cortez could probably get him the gun for free whilst he set Mishi up on another job for himself. Someone like her could be handy to a guy like him. He was always looking to increase his arsenal anyway he could.

Heading towards the hideout Kapa gestured towards Mishi for her to follow him. She could be in luck or maybe he could be in luck. But either way, heading to Cortez's playing grounds Mishi would either accept the deal or be on her way and in the worst case scenario, she'd die at his hands.

SITE EVENT: Public Enemy Number One Empty Re: SITE EVENT: Public Enemy Number One

Post by Serious? Sun Mar 02, 2014 7:31 am

To the town of San Gourdo rode a stranger one fine day.
Hardly spoke to folks around him didn't have too much to say.
No one dared to ask his business no one dared to make a slip,
for the stranger there among them had a big iron on his hip,
Big iron on his hip

Everyone knew what Tullus wanted, and they shared his same need. They let him walk by without a hitch, looking at the stranger with the big iron on his hip. However, they couldn't help him. Cortez's men could be watching them right now, seeing if they'll reveal their boss's location and betray them. The punishment in store for mutiny probably was very brutal. Tullus didn't need to ask anyone for help, all he needed was to snoop around a bit and find suspicious activity. If that doesn't work, he'll hunt down one of Cortez's lackeys and torture the information out of him. Then he looked up and saw Gourdo Park, but with Gourdo replaced with Cortez. Gee, he wondered where they could've based. Tullus wanted to take the steps into the park but thought, no. He looked way too out of place with all the rest of the villagers.

Going in there could possibly be suicide, in fact, being a lone Marine deployed on a pirate controlled island is practically suicide. Well, at least Tullus will get to die. However, if he really wanted them out and shooting him he'd be making a loud ruckus to draw them out. Then he thought that idea over again. That actually might work. He drew Injustice from his hip and raised it up into the air slowly. The townsfolk watched as he did, and were frightened away by the deafening noises of the Navy revolver in action. Six shots, then he reloaded. Six should be enough to draw some of them out to investigate what the noise was. In that case, Tullus immediately ran for cover behind some barrels, but still able to view the park entrance, all with the big iron on his hip.

Score: Woman 1 and Vigil 0. Maybe he'd come over once the public enemy had been defeated. Vigil turned around and saw a cloaked figure sitting up against the wall. He laughed at Vigil' s statement. Vigil didn't even bat an eye.

"Why yes I would love to know where this idiot of a pirate was. If you would help my get there I'd be greatly obliged. If you could help me out as well that'd be great."

Vigil bowed and smiled as he rose. Soon after six shots rang out, they were a little distant but he heard them. Maybe he'd check it out soon after speaking with this man.

Pointless? For a moment she arched a brow at the man, before remembering the blood on his hands and the people he just beat up earlier. "Uhm... Yes! That should be perfect!" She replaced the arched brow with a smile quickly. Hopefully he'd be able to have quite a bit of money on him. After all, he might be the person to have caused this places' lack of money, should have a large stash.

She straightened up and blinked as she heard a gunshot. "What... What was that? Maybe we should go quickly." She said, she didn't want to be in the middle of a gunfight, especially when it seemed her only lead to a client was unarmed and liable for getting himself killed. She quickly followed him toward the Hideout, keeping her bag of treasures safe, and the beli stashed around her body safer.

SITE EVENT: Public Enemy Number One Empty Re: SITE EVENT: Public Enemy Number One

Post by Anarchy Thu Mar 06, 2014 3:45 am

Entering the harbor, a decent sized crew of 46, were some weak pirates of the east blue. The pirates captain had a head of 8,000,000 beli, only given to him for killing and brutalizing heaps if innocent citizens. Recently on a nearby island, the captain Gizumo of the Gizumo Pirates, had heard rumors of the Cortez Pirates taking over San Guardo. He figured if he took his head, he would gain even more notoriety plus the island aswell. How great would it be to have his own island. His crew had quite the numbers, since he had expanded on his adventure across the North Blue. This would be a great day, he figured... The ship dropped its anchor and they had landed. "Men! It is our time to shine!" Gizumo yelled, and he crew responded with a loud "yeah!"

"Diamonds" Bonnet jumped off following the rest of the crew. Bonnet had met Gizumo at a bar, and i gutted he would mooch off him until he found a stronger crew, or even when he found the right time to take over and make it the Bonnet crew.. Bonnet was looking forward to meeting Mr. Cortez. Perhaps he could join him? Or take his head and gain himself a county since he is the #1 Public Enemy.

Then there was the sound of gunshots. "It's gotta be Cortez! Follow the noise men!" Shouted Gizumo as he hopped off the ship. The men responded enthusiastically, as they were excited as well to save their first battle, or at least combat for the crew.

SITE EVENT: Public Enemy Number One Empty Re: SITE EVENT: Public Enemy Number One

Vigil

As the man spoke about Public Enemy Number one and how he wanted to go see the idiot the man's eyes widened. Idiot was he?

Standing up and rearing himself up to his full 8 feet in height the man peered down over Vigil.

"Idiot? Idiot?! Listen here you little shit, Cortez is no idiot. He is a man without fault and filled with passion. A passion to amass the greatest fleet possible to take shake the very world to its core."

Removing his cape the man stood towering over Vigil to reveal a face filled with nothing but rage for Vigil's words. With long pink hair that reached his broad shoulders and rich full cheeks the man's eyes were gazing at Vigil with hatred.

From the neck down all that could be seen was his massive torso which looked fit to burst like a balloon too full of air.

Belly Bomb

Exploding causing thanks to his devil fruit power the man reformed as he watched pieces of rubble of buildings hit the ground around him and waited to see if this idiotic pirate still stood.

Mishi

Hearing her words Kapa took a few seconds before registering her queries about the gunfire. It sounded as if it came from the hideout.

"I wouldn't worry about it. Others at the hideout will deal with it."

Continuing the journey Kapa finally reached the area to see a man wrapped in bandages from head to toe firing his gun into the air. Stopping he placed a hand in front of Mishi.

"Wait here."

Tullus

Hearing the gunshots fired Cortez rolled his eyes. [color=Olive]What was this? A firing range?!

As a man stepped forward to deal with the fool who dared fire a few shots, Cortez placed a hand in front and shook his head. Getting to his feet he took a few steps outside into the courtyard of his lair. With fences all around the courtyard he grinned. Placing a hand on the floor he closed his eyes as a series of holes formed over his right arm.

Opening up he started to use a technique of his that he rather enjoyed.

Haibu Haibu: Swarm: Worker

Watching his beauties escape his arm and crawl over the ground Cortez grinned before he returned to the building and begun to climb the stairs. Once he reached the top and grabbed hold of a nice coconut drink he sat down with his legs dangling over the edge of the building to catch sight of Tullus.

Sitting beneath an umbrella the shade masked his face, making it hard to see it was even him.

Around Tullus's feet ants begun to escape.

Haibu Haibu: Army Ant

The groups of ants begun to part into two seperate groups either side of Tullus. Watching Cortez grinned as the ants begun to squash themselves together forming a strikingly big ant which stood in height a good 6 foot in height and 12 in length.

Standing either side of Tullus the ants snapped their pincers.

Whoever this bandaged man was he'd gotten himself in for a fight and should be regretting it.

Wasn't long before the story was relayed to Cortez
But the outlaw didn't worry men that tried before were dead...

Nothing yet. Strange, maybe Tullus didn't fire enough shots. But then he saw something roll by the building as he peaked over the barrel, and it was just a tumbleweed. He thought about maintaining his position until something happened, but seemed unlikely someone was going to come out and face him after this much of a wait. And so, the bandaged stranger among them took some bullets out of one of his vest pouches and began to reload his revolver one bullet at a time. .36 caliber rounds, not exactly the strongest rounds but they weren't horrible either. Each time he touched the cold metal of the bullets with the exposed tips of his fingers, it felt like he was reliving his execution all over again, but in his fingertips.

As soon as Tullus finished reloading, he noticed masses of something small gathering around his sides, which immediately caused him to stand up and look at what was about to happen. Then the tiny objects began to smash against each other to form something bigger, and that's when Tullus decided it was time to skedaddle the fuck out of his current position and gain some space between whatever the hell he was going to go up against and himself. The things finally finished recreating itself and, much to the stranger's surprise, it was two giant ants. It was time to do what Tullus has been doing all his life: Pistol Poppin'.

The first thing to do was to cripple the front legs to prevent any movements so Tullus can make the shots easier to hit, then it was to shoot it in the face. Because there were two ants, four front legs in total and only six shots in his revolver, the stranger had to ration his shots carefully. Four shots, one to each leg. Hopefully, at least half of them hit his target.

Twenty men had tried to take him twenty men had made a slip
Twenty one would be the stranger with the big iron on his hip

After all the men made it to the ground, there was an even louder explosion.

"What was that?" Gizumo shouted in shock as the rumble went through the air. His facial expression then changed from being scared to a large smirk.

"Go to the loudest sound men! That's where we'll find Cortez's head!" he shouted again, then shooting his pistol in the air to pump up everyone. The men shouted back once more enthusiastically as they began moving through San Guardo and to the noise.

"What idiots." Bonnet thought as he cracked his knuckles. The adrenaline began pumping. Bonnet had never been so excited. He was looking forward to a fight.

After several minutes of walking, the men arrived at the scene, not finding the captain Cortez, but some other two pirates battling in the middle of town.

Mishi gulped as she realised the person shooting into the air was AHEAD of them, and there was a bunch of massive insects as well, he appeared to be bandaged quite a bit, so either he was out of luck when it came to fashion sense or he was half dead already.

She nodded quickly a few times, "Yes." she replied, hiding behind Kapa's body, trying to make herself as little as a target as possible, hugging her loot, she didn't want it to get damaged. If it got damaged, she'd get less money for it... Or worse yet, he wouldn't pay for it at ALL.

She considered running behind a building or a tree... But trees can't fight back unless you're extremely unlucky, so she decided to use the flesh wall instead.
