Kurome's hair is grown out and his hair is instead adorned with fewer feathers and beads in a native american style. He also has tattooed a black Roman numeral X to both his shoulders. Under his clothing his body is covered in the scars of battle. His boots are laced up with exaggerated fold-over cuffs. He stands at 6' 1 and weights around 155lbs. He usually wears a uniform jacket on his shoulders, much like a cape. He matches it with a white dress shirt, black pants, and a loosely knotted tie. He is body considered to be lean when one looks at him from the outside. Though without his shirt one can see that under his scars, he has muscles.

While in disguise he is a tall, very muscular man with long hair that is braided into two large bangs on each side of his face. In his appearance, because the headband constantly shaded his eyes, he appeared very cruel. he wears these robes with a red headband. The headband has two large feathers in the side and a white pattern. He has five silver rings on his right hand, each shaped like a different animal.


Personality: When one first meets Kurome, seems arrogant, overbearing, selfish, and prone to make fun of his own comrades. He strives to be the strongest and looked down on those he considered weak, heavily reprimanding their weakness and even resolving to hurt them whenever they stepped in his path. Due to his outlook on his weak comrades he tends to care very reluctant in helping them he usually suggests that they had to give him something in order to acquire his help. Namely something they have that interest him or if they are men he asks for their manhood as 'they no longer need it'. The only things he appeared to truly care about were the strength and reputation of his group/team/crew, and he became enraged every time someone made fun of it. When enrage his actions become brutal, and his sense of humor becomes far more twisted than before.

Though around people he deem his equal or stronger than him, He comes off far more light-hearted. He lets off a few jokes and even shows a slight lecherous side to him (though to be honest he has no idea what he is doing). He can be a pretty uptight person and he is a bit OCD when it comes to the appearance things around him. He is very perceptive when it comes to things being out of place. He hates dirty and unkempt things which makes it hard for him to get along with others especially if they have a naturally unappealing appearance. He has habit of pointing out even the smallest flaw in one's appearance. Though once you get past that, he is kind and considerate person who is always willing to give his opinion on a subject.

On that note Kurome unlike his father, he doesn't understand women or how exactly to speak or act around him. The only advice he ever received about them came from his father, he is meant to have a double standard when it comes to women. Rather then pointing at every little flaw as obviously and harshly as possible, he attempts to be subtle with it but he will fix something if it bothers him enough. Which usually either comes off as him being a pervert, no matter how pure his intention originally was. Sadly he is also horribly dense when it comes to women and their own feelings, causing him to do whatever he pleases; With whomever he pleases.

Kurome has quite a few hobbies, he likes to play the violin, read novels, and drink wine/coffee/tea in the dawn or dusk. He also has quite a few unexpected and could be considered womanly hobbies such as cooking, housekeeping, sewing, and even knitting. Yet he still has otherwise manly interests, though they mostly relate with guns and swords fortunately. Fun fact: he is also a habitual smoker.


Character History


Background
Born and raised in the South Blue, Kurome had two parents. One was a former pirate who was now a gunsmith named Rai Nakamura and the other was a maid at a nearby mansion by the name of Jasmine. For the first half of his childhood, Kurome spent a lot of time with his father. Kurome watched his father build all sorts of guns, develop different types of ammo, and even listened to all of his stories about his pirate crew. Oh how would Kurome listen to his father's crew days. Kurome at the time didn't have many friends but when he got the chance he would recount the stories in his head over and over again. If one thing was obvious about Kurome, he both loved and respected his father. Though after a mishap in which his house was destroyed in a gunpowder explosion, Rai left the island for a few years leaving Kurome with his mother.

From there Kurome spent most of his time with the noble children. Unfortunately he was more of a butler rather than an actual friend to them. He waited on them, hand and foot. He did whatever they wished, even if he didn't want to. It was here when he developed most of his skill set when it came to cooking, sewing, and general house keeping. Mostly because his mother was somewhat lazy when it came to cleaning. Though even though he was a 'servant' he was no servant. It was always readily apparent that he was in control. Even at a young age he was always able to overwhelm even the most confident of nobles children and coax them into doing whatever he pleased. Though he could never turn any full noble under his control, not at a very young age. So he was still restrained to his status as a butler.

He spent his time as a butler until he turned 18. Then his island was drawn into war, and guess who was drafted in the island's militia? During basic training Kurome was introduced to swordsmanship. There in the war, Kurome was reunited with his father, who was living on the other island due to some reason. Kurome didn't get a answer when he asked. All he received was a silent nod and then his attention was pulled to a gun that his father developed. For the two years he spent with his father on the island, fighting in the war. Kurome was taught everything he knew about guns. He learned about every part, how to maintain them, and even how to maximize their full capabilities. He fought many opponents in the war, some good, some not so much. In war not only did his skill as a gun man grow but also as a swordsman. His skill developed and born one the battle field, when it was over he gained the epithet of the Swallow due to his grace in battle. Then after those two years Kurome returned to his home, to find that his mother had arranged a marriage between him and a noble's daughter. Not wanting to get married at a young age, Kurome decided to steal a raft the next day and leave, but not before grabbing quite a few guns and a sword of course.

When he first landed on a lush island he quickly became apart of a mercenary gang known as the Metals, Kurome was given the code name 'Silver' and lead two grunts under him known as Nickle and Copper. Nickle was a large man who seemed to be as intelligent as a sack of potatoes, Nickle was the muscle and enforcer of the group, And Kurome was the Swiss army knife of the group. Copper however was smaller but was a genius and tended to come up with the plans and such. Kurome was mainly the one who kept the two in line as Copper had a tendency to talk down to Nickle and Nickle would pick a fight Copper. Even with the squabbling between the three, they were close and did everything together and were basically family for 3 years. During this time, Kurome spent years learning sword techniques from Nickle. Using these skills he was able to complete a variety of missions. They were fairly small time mercenaries mainly dealing with debt collection, escorting high profile clients, and working as bouncers till they were given the job to take out a noble. The mission was given to them by their superiors within the mercenary group.

Turns out it was a set up, the noble was a lie. In fact the 'noble' was a mercenary whose goal was to not only get rid of their group but to haul Kurome back to his hometown. Suffice to say that the latter never happened. Unfortunately during the initial confrontation Nickle was killed in the cross fire by a mercenary, and Silver and Copper barely escaped with their lives. Afterwards Copper gave up being a mercenary but was hauled in by the marines, turned out he was a criminal he strangled a noble and a marine captain in the war, and Kurome small fell apart. Deciding it would be better for him to leave the village before he was returned back home he got back on his raft and left.

  • Ittoryu - Kurome is versed in the art of the one-handed sword style.
  • Hand-to-hand combat Practitioner - Due to his time in the army he was taught hand-to-hand combat training for when he had no weapon.
  • Military Experience - Due to Kurome's military experience he understands and can create military tactics. While he held no high position his small amount of military experience has allowed him to be 
  • Standard Marksman Skill - As apart of the army Kurome has learned how to use firearms such as guns. Though due to the amount of drills he went through and his father's instruction Kurome is a decent marksman.Though he still isn't beyond the level of someone who spent their life to it.
  • Basic Navigation skills - just telling where one is and what direction one needs to go, no specifics like weather or how long it will take.


Inventory

Weapon: Sword and Pistol

Weapon Description: It is an old-fashion English sword, it has very little difference if any to the standard issued blades given to marines. The only small difference is the small crest of the royalty Kurome fought for on the pommel. The flint lock is nothing special as well. It is the same as any other flint-lock bought from a merchant.

Weapon Special Abilities: N/A

Weapon History: They were distributed to Kurome prior to the war. Bot weapons had seen hard times as war had gone by. In fact these weapons were forged by the town's blacksmith 10 years prior to the war Kurome had partaken in. When war time came they were refurbished and issued to Kurome. unfortunately after the first battle in which Kurome was separated from his squad his gun was broken beyond Kurome's ability to repair, and his sword had dulled to being more of a club than a sword. During the war however Kurome met his father, Rai who took it upon himself to teach Kurome how to effectively fix his gun and sharpen his blade. Once Kurome had returned back home, due to his efforts in the war he was allowed to keep the weapons and took them with him when he left the island.

Combat Information

Unarmed Combat:
Kitai [Anticipation] - The user will focus on an opponent, watching closely for any movements while relaxing their body. Their bodies reactions will increase as long as they remain motionless, allowing them to respond quicker to attacks. This cannot be used to make attacks faster, though this move may aid in finding an opening.

Ōshi [Bull]- A technique that relies on the weight, size, and muscle of the body to knockdown a foe. The user will rush at an opponent, ungracefully slamming into them without an ounce of mercy.

Tsūten Kyaku [Bruising Sky Leg]- This Technique move is a powerful downward kick, crushing whatever happens to be in it's way. The user will first lift their leg, be it on the ground or while above an opponent, and then swing in a downward arc, the concentrated strength impacting sharply on whatever the foot happens to come into with, making it a threatening move.

Uma [Horse]- A technique that gathers force to propel one's leg, this technique will cause a kick to spring forward like a hammer, knocking the breath of their opponent if not their blood.


Weapon Based Combat:
Assaihira Toushou [Crushing Palm Sword Cut] - Assaihira Toushou is a sword-based attack that relies on the user's strength to increase the speed and crushing power of the blow. The user does not cut- He thoroughly cracks his foes defense. The user will place their hand just above the dull side of the blade, just above the blade's guard. Upon striking at a foe they will smack the back of the blade, applying the full front of their strength to it in order to empower the cut, increasing the speed and ferocity of the blade.

Touhaikeru [Backsword Kick] -  Kicking a blade to empower a sword. The idea is almost comical, something one might expect to be a mere trick. Any whom had been struck by a Touhaikeru will know better. Much like Assaihira Toushou, the user will strike the dull side of the blade with his body mid-attack, launching in forward at a surprising speed. The human body has more power in it's leg than arms, making Touhaikeru more powerful than it's palm counterpart. However, the move requires a certain amount of balance, making it more difficult to utilize properly.

Tobutora [Leaping Tiger] -  Tobutora utilizes the power in the legs to launch their body into the air, using unnatural human strength as the propellant. It requires stable ground in order to perform, due to the force being pressed against the surface the user is standing upon. The technique will launch the pirate into the air like a human rocket, enabling them to escape the ground, reach high ground, and pounce upon an enemy from the air.

Danmaku [Barrage] - Danmaku allows one to energize their arms and allowing them to let out a barrage of slices, none particularly powerful but numerous. Being able to strike at an insane rate is key, as it will allow you to slip through a foe's defenses.

Batto [Draw] - Batto allows one to propel thier sword at an opponent from their hilt in a quick slash

Senka [Flash Blossom] - the user begins by sheathing his blade and gathering his energy as he rushes at his opponent. Upon moving at a foe, they will draw the blade and at the same time begin to spin. Because of this movement, the user will be able to cut a foe not once but twice- The Initial blow from the first draw when they are in front of the opponent, and the second from the spin returning as they pass their foe.

Tsubame Gaeshi [Swallow Reversal] -  This technique, in turn, involves two precise furious cuts. The user will begin with a downward cut in order to lure them in, apparently giving a foe an opening from the initial strike. In reality, it is merely a trap. Once the enemy nears, the user will spin the blade around in his hand and cut upward.

Goat Island, a island best known... for its.... something. Kurome didn't know nor did he care. He was only here for one thing, and that was information. Taking a long drag of his cigarette, his eyes peered around the bar. It was the standard hang out for  the rough types, both pirate and marine. Though Kurome had very little interest in either, the one he was looking for was neither.

Removing the tobacco stick from his mouth and a puff of smoke left his mouth and rose high into the air. Not long after the smoke left his mouth did he hear the clicking sound come from behind him. Kurome's eyes were drawn behind him where a large man stood. Kurome couldn't make heads or tails of the man, whether he was pirate or marine. In fact he couldn't even discern the man's face, all he knew was that there was a gun up to his head.

"Don't you know its not polite to smoke in a no smoking zone?"

Kurome didn't move, he didn't need to he didn't have time to play with the man. He took another drag of his cigarette and sighed. Man, what he would do for some tea; He could kill for some.

"Don't you know its impolite to pull a gun out on a man without introducing yourself?"


The man clenched his teeth. His finger massaged the trigger and the man's eyes narrowed as he began to contemplate attacking Kurome. Kurome's eye began to float back toward the male standing behind him. His mind raced trying to figure out who was behind him, and how he was going to deal with him.

• Can you please elaborate on the weapons. Even if they are simple weapons given to everybody they still have a certain appearance and history to them. Even if it is simple.
