Hyakki Yagyo isn't known for being a big organization. In fact it had just been established as a small unknown little group that didn't believe that the government should control the world. Due to its small size even if the government were to catch wind of it they wouldn't waste time dealing with them. It was due to this that the few agents the organization had could freely move about the world as they choose. That is, as long as they didn't incur a bounty. It was due to this Rai was sitting on a bench next to the fountain of the Kelborg kingdom. The fountain wasn't anything spectacular in fact it was no different from a fountain in any other kingdom. In fact the fountain was located in the slums of the Kelborg kingdom.

If it wasn't for the fact that Rai was waiting for someone he wouldn't have been waiting in such a place. Sickness and the effects of poverty were obviously running rampant through this part of the kingdom, The local enforcement wasn't exactly fit to deal with the bandits in the area. This made it so the Slums were a lawless place. Though the status of the current place made no difference to him, he was waiting for a contact sent by his employer. He was suppose to receive his mission and meet up with a comrade who would help him complete the mission. Rai didn't know if the two were one and the same, all he knew was his contact would wear a black cloak and would present him with an object that he would immediately recognize. He knew his comrade to help him complete the mission would be a new face in the organization. Hell, he even had a picture of the new guy.

Waiting at the fountain he began to start watching people. He was suppose to meet both the contact and his partner at the same place. So his eyes scanned whomever passed the fountain. He saw battered men who just got kicked out of the local bar. He could see the thieves that picked the drunk's pockets for easy coin. He could also see the wives that would be beaten if they returned home without dinner ready for the drunk husband when he returned. Rai scowled. This was where the weakest of the peasants reside within the kingdom, or at least that was what most nobility thought. Rai just saw a pathetic place where one had to scrape by to survive.

Hyakki Yagyō's First Mission: Time to start a War {SERIOUS} Empty Re: Hyakki Yagyō's First Mission: Time to start a War {SERIOUS}

After Silva departed from his previous crew, the Star Gazing Pirates, he set out to find a way to change the world. But to change the world, one needed to make friends, and making friends isn't something he's particularly spectacular at. Luckily for him, an opportunity presented itself on a small island in the South Blue. He was there to pick up some supplies for his ship when he saw a man dressed in rags. The man was spewing outrageous claims and propaganda about the World Government. The people passing didn't pay any mind to him, thinking of him only as a crazy old man. And the ones who did take notice, gave him him a snide look or called him a "drunk heretic", besides Silva of course. He listened to the man because he understood and knew of the atrocities committed by the World Government. After 30 minutes or so, the man asked Silva an odd question: "Are you ready to join the Army of the Underworld?" It took a bit of convincing, but the rest is history... The man said that he would be contacted soon from a friend.

Silva didn't really know much about Hyakki Yagyo, hell he didn't even hear about them until 2 weeks ago, but from what the old man told him, he knew it was close-knit group of individuals bent on freeing the world from the tyranny of the World Government. To Silva it was just dumb luck that he happened to meet that old man, but many others would call it destiny. A few days ago, a man had called him on his Den Den Mushi and told him to meet up with an Agent of theirs at specific coordinates in West Blue.

That was roughly 2 weeks ago and now he was in the West Blue on an island belonging to the Kelborg Kingdom. For the most part, it was a stereotypical monarchy: the rich ate well, while the poor struggled to survive in the slums. It was disgusting. It wasn't long before he reached the aforementioned slums. A good amount of the people were sickly looking and crime ran a muck. They were stealing from the sick just to spend their money on booze. The Kelborg Kingdom didn't care about this place obviously. Silva sighed and shook his head as he casually reached the center of the slums. In the center there was a fountain, a fountain that didn't even have clean water, with a red-haired man sitting next to it. Most people in the slums were sickly or dirty, but not this man, and it seemed he was waiting for someone. "That must be him..." muttered Silva to himself. He walked towards the man on the bench and said "Yo... hope I didn't keep you waiting long." his face as expressionless as ever.

Hyakki Yagyō's First Mission: Time to start a War {SERIOUS} Empty Re: Hyakki Yagyō's First Mission: Time to start a War {SERIOUS}

Rai sat waiting for both the informant and the member he was suppose to be collaborating with. A voice could be heard from from a man standing in front of him. Rai scanned the man, he was a spitting image of the one in the photo. Rai guessed that the man was the one he was going to work with. Rai paid his statement no attention though. It wasn't pertinent to the objective at hand. Instead he was planning to continue to wait for the informant to arrive. Fortunately he didn't have to wait long. Before Rai would be able to make a statement if he wanted a voice could be heard.

"So I see the tengu and the newbie have arrived."

Rai looked over to see a familiar face and sighed. The man stood at the average height, maybe a bit below average. His clothes were just as unkempt as the normal townsfolk and his face wasn't anything special. If this were a manga or a anime Rai would chalk the man as a token side character. The man barely had a presence and left very little of an impression. Rai only really remembered the man due to the fact he had worked with him once or twice before hand and this would be his third time.

"Who are you again?" Rai asked.

The man looked at Rai dumbfounded before giving him a firm punch in the face.

"MY NAME IS __________"

Rai would have probably heard it if he cared but it didn't so it didn't register. He was however given a firm punch, it didn't hurt but he couldn't help but grunt at the force. The informant coughed after punching Rai and handed both Rai and Silva a den den mushi.

"Your mission details shall be relayed through this recorder den den mushi. Right now your main objective is to overthrow the current leader of the island." the informant said/

Hyakki Yagyō's First Mission: Time to start a War {SERIOUS} Empty Re: Hyakki Yagyō's First Mission: Time to start a War {SERIOUS}

The man looked up at Silva and stared at him for a moment before what appeared to be another member of the organization. His timing was impeccable and broke the silence between the two. He called the red-haired man Tengu, which sounded a bit familiar to Silva. "Wait... this man isn't THAT Tengu." he thought to himself. The man who appeared in front of them looked like any other town member, but an informant, it was important to look like a nobody in his line of work. The punch he gave the Tengu made Silva grin a little, enjoying himself at his partner's expense.

After the punch, the man handed them both a den den mushi and gave them their objective. With his mission complete, he left the two, blending into the crowd. Silva looked at his partner and said "Let's get started then," He began to take a step, ,however he turned back around and said "Are you the Sleeping Tengu?" The Sleeping Tengu was a notorious Pirate in the Blues who had caused much stress for the Marines. His strength was admirable, but no one had seen his face before. He stared at him, waiting for an answer.

Hyakki Yagyō's First Mission: Time to start a War {SERIOUS} Empty Re: Hyakki Yagyō's First Mission: Time to start a War {SERIOUS}

Post by Kumagawa Tue Jun 02, 2015 9:08 am

Rai watched as the informant walked away after he hit Rai. Rai sighed. He would have at least liked to get a bit more information but it seemed the Den Den Mushi would give them all the information he needed. Looking at the snail it seemed to be a one-time repeat snail. This meant after being listened to once it would immediately erase itself. This was so that no one would be able to get their hands on the mission details of a Hyakki Yagyo operative. Rai decided that he would listen to his mission with a pair of headphones. On the communicator there were no details, there was no direct objective, just a name and a location.... Kurai Juudaime, Grandine Clocktower. Taking the headphones off he would jump from his bench and stretched.

It was then he heard his comrade ask him a question. It seemed he wanted to know if Rai was the sleeping Tengu. Seeing as the man hadn't been given a codename it seemed that he was still in the introductory phase of entering the organization. Rai grinned, taking a few steps toward the closest bar. "Pretty big leap in logic there. What would a celebrity be doing on an island like this" he said after he passed Silva. Currently Rai wore no mask and it wasn't even visible on his body if he did have one. "You should be thinking about how you're gonna stay in this organization than who you are working with."

What Rai was concerned with, had nothing to do with the guy. Kurai would be easy enough to find. It was the Grandine Clocktower that he expected to be the real problem. During his short stay in the Kelborg kingdom he had never heard of such a place especially in the poor sect. He had a feeling finding this place would bring a whole new set of troubles. The bar was quite the standard crummy little place.

It looked like it had just been through a fight. Still there were plenty of patreons drinking and having a good time. Rai shoved his hands into his pockets and began to scan the bar. This was where he planned on learning who and where he was suppose to go.

Hyakki Yagyō's First Mission: Time to start a War {SERIOUS} Empty Re: Hyakki Yagyō's First Mission: Time to start a War {SERIOUS}

Post by Giorgio Wed Jun 10, 2015 2:46 am

The man essentially dismissed his question and told him to focus on the objective at hand, Giorgio smirked and replied "How do you expect me to work with you, when I don't even know your name?" In a sense, Silva could understand the man's secrecy, but as comrades, some things needed to be shared. After he said this, he put on a pair of earphones and listened to the message on the Den Den Mushi, walking behind his comrade. The message was only 4 words long: Kurai Juudaime.... Grandine Clocktower. Unlike the red-haired man who had been in the Kelborg Kingdom for a couple of days, Silva didn't know much about the island. It seemed he would have to follow in his comrade's lead, which was to be expected. When the message was finished, it erased itself so that playback would be impossible.

As they arrived in the bar, Silva removed his earphones and scanned the room. The inside of the bar was a reflection of the poor sect of the Kelborg Kingdom. Some of the chairs and tables were overturned, as if a tornado had blown through, when it was probably just a brawl as everyone still appeared to be in foo To find this Kurai Juudaime and the Grandine Clocktower, they would need to collect information and bars are the information meccas of their respected islands. Obtaining information from these individuals shouldn't be too difficult, considering the fact that they were poor and could be swayed through beli. This is where the mission really began.

Hyakki Yagyō's First Mission: Time to start a War {SERIOUS} Empty Re: Hyakki Yagyō's First Mission: Time to start a War {SERIOUS}

Post by Sweet Dreams Sun Jun 14, 2015 5:59 pm

Meanwhile,hidden away behind trees and bushes at the every edge of the village stood a house,at least what could of been the charred rotting remains of a house covered in vines and dead leaves. Large chunks of roofing and wood laid scattered everywhere looking as if a bomb went off,but if one were to look below the house you would find a long tunnel,the walls and floors covered in rusted metal that long ago must of been shiny and new,the long network of cables and wires that once crawled along the ceiling were hanging low broken a few still sparked lightly casting a flicker and shifting light along the dark tunnels.

At the tunnels end it opened up to a large circular room that looked the be a inventors space at one time but the soot covered walls,charred and half melted metals  laid throw about,what once had been a table and chairs laid shattered as if something heavy had landed on them or riddled with a large amount of bullet sized holes.A large amount of books lined a wall blacked and burned,the titles no longer readable eaten away by the fire and time that so hungrily consumed them.

 A nearby door,the once bright blue pint faded and chipped with time stood closed the small window on it gave a slight view into the next room.An entire wall being taken up by monitors,most cracked or completely shattered and dark but a few that were intact and still somehow had power only showed the fuzz of static,the cameras no longer showing the places they were in. A figure was sitting slumped over the control panels a old tattered and stained lab coat blocked them from view.

Suddenly the screech of metal filled the quiet lab before a large chuck of the soot and rust covered wall gave away,finally losing its battle with time,only to reveal a doorway leading to a secret room,that unlike everything else looked untouched,a small room just big enough to fit three people only the flickering light from the cables being the only light source in the room. It was empty of all furnishings,a layer of dust covered everything including the girl sitting on the floor,her head tilted to the side,her eyed closed,but her chest wasn't moving,but that didn't mean she wasn't alive,inside her head her mind was starting to wake up,her battery had reached less then five percent,activating her emergency override forcing her to slowly start turning back on. Mizuki was starting to wake up.

Rai continued to scan the room before noticing something. This might not exactly be his mission, this was also a mission for the boy Silva. Without a word he looked at Silva expectantly for him to begin interacting with the bar patrons. Rai had no intention of giving the boy help when it came to simply figuring out who was who and what was what. It was up to him to figure out the small things such as information gathering for himself. You never knew when the Organization would sign someone up for solo missions. Plus Rai had to determine the boy's people skills. Could he talk to other people without trouble? Or would he be the more brawny type? Or Would he be useful only as cannon fodder. The way Silva went about gathering info was quite imperative
