Character Information


Appearance:  Mags is a fairly chunky looking woman, though beneath the layer of fat she has a fair amount of muscles, probably not helping with her weight. She isn’t really all that balanced, probably most of her weight comes from the hips and down with thunder thighs Her face is slightly square and short, with two braided pigtails of ginger hail propping up to her side. She seems to have permanently tattooed her face with two black streaks. She has done the same to her arms, with two arrows on each pointing downwards.
She wears a forward facing hat with goggles usually wrapped around them, putting them on in battle or when the situation demands it. Beneath the goggles is the word “MARINE” etched. A tank top clings to her frame, showing off her tattooed arms, while she wears slightly baggy trousers that require a belt to be kept on, and even then it slips down a bit usually, her lower stomach and back often being revealed. She doesn’t really seem to care about what people think about her attire, not really seeing herself as attractive so why should she bother worrying about it? Her belt has satchels that usually contain grenades or ammo, which of course usually serve to push the trousers down further.
When she’s making her weapons she usually just wears “whatever” so long as she has gloves, i.e. whatever she was wearing when she entered the workshop, whether it be full gear, no gear or a towel from her shower. She usually has headphones to listen to loud music when she’s not on the field.
Personality: Mags is fairly eccentric when it comes to her work, and definitely likes explosions (good or bad) more than it’s deemed healthy. Although she can make other weapons, she usually prefers to work on her rocket/missile launchers. She knows basic maths as well, only really going further in order to calculate trajectories.
She likes food, whether it be fried or barbequed, mostly preferring chicken because of the handy shape of a leg. Due to this, it’s a constant battle for her to stay fit and to not get chubbier because unlike some people, she’s not blessed with a black hole for a stomach and gains weight from eating. She absolutely distains silent arms, not seeing the point of it. She isn’t what you would call a ‘stealthy’ kind of person understandably. Messing with her weapons is a surefire way to get a sock in the nose. She hates silence due to her tetanus, and often tries to drown it out with louder noises.
She doesn’t really see herself as attractive, and usually brushes away ‘compliments’ and the like. When something doesn’t go according to plan, she tends to face fault for a moment before trying the thing that didn’t’ work again to see if it was a fluke. If a rocket turns out to be a dud, she becomes more than a little bit depressed.

Character History

Mag was born to two marines, one semi-retired due to a lost leg and the other still in service as a Commander in their branch. Her father stayed home, really only able to work on his second craft, gunsmithing for the marines was about all he could do that would be of any benefit to them. Her mother was usually away doing paperwork and running the garrison on their island and didn’t really have much time for her once she got old enough not to be breastfed.
Having fired her first gun at the age of six (her father trying to scare her out of becoming a Marine due to her spoken wish during dinner), she developed slight tetanus and a love for loud noises. She would watch her dad making the rifles and snuck out to the training field to watch the Marines practice with them. As she grew older, her tetanus became worse. No matter how many times she went to the doctor, she couldn’t get the ringing to go away, only having peace when it was drowned out by louder noises.
She volunteered for the marines to her mothers’ delight and her fathers’ chagrin. Although he finally got himself a prosthetic leg, he didn’t want his mother or his daughter to have the same wound as he did and was especially fearful for his daughter due to her developed love of explosives. He even taught her the ways of making guns so she could be satisfied in just making and testing them, but instead made it worse because she wanted to make bigger guns to break up pirates.
However, rather than risk her on the front lines, her mother and father listed her up for a sharpshooters division, much to Mag’s dismay. She scoffed at the need for silencers, and instead began to work on something else in secret during training. She began to make what she thought of as a “proper sniper rifle”, i.e. an RPG with threw grenades over a very long distance, or just missiles. Or both. She designed the weapon for long range capabilities, while being able to change to mid. By turning it, one could twist the weapon to become shorter but be able to accommodate larger rounds, or twist it the other way and make it smaller but with smaller rounds, though still explosive.
Grinning at her new invention, she revealed it on a patrol when they were attacked by pirates, taking a chunk out of their hull in one shot. Delighted that her efforts were not in vain, she named it and went on her merry way of destroying pirate ships before they could even fire first, though she got a bit of a reputation for having a trigger finger while she was doing it, going up the ranks, but not enough to have any power, she was fine with that, but her parents weren’t. While her father of course didn’t want to put her into danger, while her mother wanted her to climb up the ranks. She pretty much said screw off and transferred to a different branch.


Sharpshooting: Due to her years on the training range as well as being on a sharpshooters division, she’s gained quite the sharp eye especially when it comes to shooting.
Gunsmithing: Mags is able to make guns. And explosives. Explosions are cool.
Entrench: Mag is able to stand her ground impressively, due to firing her missile launchers.


Weapon: A.R.R.L (All Range Rocket Launcher)

Weapon Description:
Retracted: The A.R.R.L takes the form of a fat sixty centimeter rocket launcher with red streaks to the side. It has a trigger at the bottom with two handles. One handle where it should be, while the other can be pushed around in order to extend the barrel.
Extended: The barrel extends to over double its length at 130 centimeters, the streaks on the barrel twist and turn at the extra conjunctions.

Weapon Special Abilities:
The rocket launcher has different kinds of ammo.
High Yield: A large ball jam-packed with explosives, large enough to level a building. It fires at a heavy arc that can’t go farther than ten meters.
Medium Yield: A large ball packed with explosives, enough to cause a fairly large explosion, and the range is at twenty meters.
Low Yield: Forty meters this large ball packed with explosives can go, it can pack a wallop.
Napalm: Does what it says. At fifteen meters this ball cracks onto a surface after being fired and gets to burning whatever it splashes on.
Big Ball: A large, heavy ball that only goes to five meters, but it can punch through a faaaaair few things between then.
Extended: All missiles have a range of one hundred meters and fire very, very fast.
Missile: Average missile that explodes on impact, enough to bump a hole.
Fragsile: Same as above, except it fragments and burrows into whatever’s around.
Burnsile: Not the same as the above, throws sticky fire everywhere on impact.
Penesile: Doesn’t particularly explode, but it’s sharp and can punch a hole through metal.
Splitsile: Splits into four different missiles mid-air that move up, down, and to the sides before ending up to their target at four locations.
Supersile: Much longer than the others, it does all the others do, splits up, each piece of fragmentation has sticky burning napalm that penetrates through a fair amount of things.

Weapon History: The A.P.P.L started in development a while, while ago. She continued to create it throughout her beginning career from recruit to petty officer when she was able to actually throw grenades. She finished the ammo by Warrant Officer.

A little more history regarding the weapon would be nice but it's nothing too important and everything about the weapon makes sense. I'm gonna go ahead and give this the thumbs up:
