Roger's Memory

Post by Docile on Fri Jan 29, 2016 6:23 am

Clouds brushed over as waves crashed into the small ships ranging to larger and larger ones docked at the little docks of Logue Town where Pirates stopped off for supplies before continuing on to the Reverse Mountain and the Grand Line. It had taken many years to return here but now seeing the beautiful sight before him once again after the last site of it seen disappearing over the waves it was beautiful. Never had this once Logue Town born and bred man been happier to see his home town. As his small boat drew closer and he tossed the anchor over board which embedded itself into the ground below and dragged the ship in after the young man leapt from the boat to the docks and watched as the anchor which was way too heavy with a shorter rope than thought dragged the little thing under. Feeling a little stupid the young man shrugged his shoulders and turned. his back on the docks.

Strangers from Logue Town passed who either worked in the docks or were members of crews of ships docked, he received many glances his way and ignored them he knew why each person looked at him and didn't blame them. He was covered in thick dark brown robes from head to toe with a hood to match covering the majority of his face. No one would be able to tell who he was if they didn't know him and seeing as he hadn't been here for a long time no one would know him. He took his first steps from the docks heading into Logue Town.

The dark clouds above made the entire town seem dark dingy and horrible, it seemed a storm were on its way some time in the far future, but who knew. As the people of Logue Town all hurried past one another they furiously pushed past other people eagerly rushing to find their way home as soon as possible. Whilst the man in the robes simply walked down the middle standing strong not allowing anyone to push past him.

Passing a naval soldier the man in robes heard footsteps grow louder as the soldier approached from behind. Armed with a sword on his waist and a rifle in his hands the recruit called out in a hoarse voice.

"Excuse me sir?"

Feeling the slight rush of excitement rush through his body the man in robes slowed his pace and allowed the soldier to place a hand on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry to ask this as I understand the weather is taking a turn for the worse and you must be cold, but would you mind removing your hood whilst in town?"

Pulling his hood down to reveal his face the man turned to face the soldier with a smile revealing the childish face of Josh Wynter. Once upon a time a citizen among these streets but now a traveler and stranger to the changes that the own had undergone. Nodding to the soldier Wynter turned and continued his journey down the street. He had some preparation to deal with first.

If memory served correctly Roger's platform would be in the place it had always been and after a quick look at the signs memory served right indeed. So the first part of his plan which he couldn't actually plan was already in place. What wasn't however was the parts which required him to actually do something.

It was time to get busy.

Re: Roger's Memory

Post by Raizen on Fri Jan 29, 2016 7:15 am

With a soft sigh, The 16 year old teenager closed his eyes, The strong wind currents blowing against him causing his orange vest to sway in the wind. A storm was coming, A fierce one at that, But the young man didn't mind one single bit. In fact, If anything, It added to the atmosphere which he was currently experiencing, Viewing Gol D Rogers execution platform and all.

He'd been in Logue Town for about a day, Having chosen to take refuge in the small boat he'd arrived to the Island on. He merely tied anchored the small vessel under a docking platform And slept the night through.

Granted, He'd had quite the rude awakening early in the morning. The chatter of the many footsteps on the the busy dock causing him to awaken quite early, Though by no means was he not used to it. He'd traveled all the way from Dokkingu island in the west blue to Logue town over a period of a few weeks, Using his own navigational knowledge along with a few maps which he had decided to 'Borrow' from the Island's he'd stopped at. Sure, He didn't exactly pay for them.. But did were they really needed? I mean, They were being put to such greater use in his hands. If anything he'd done the map owners a favor by taking the map's off their hands.

For you see, This wasn't just any young man. This was a young man with large aspirations in life, Who had come to Logue town to view The fated Execution platform in which the former pirate king had been executed on 80 years ago, And to possibly find and join a crew of pirates, As the Idea of entering the grand line alone didn't really seem all that enjoyable. The man who'd eaten the Mera Mera no Mi and had become a flame human, And fled his birthplace at the age of 14. The man none other than Otoko Kaen Shisui, An aspiring young pirate.

Currently, Otoko sat with his legs crossed and a blank look on his face, His form a large enough distance away to view the fabled execution platform in which the pirate king had been publicly executed on in all its glory. Even though he'd been receiving a few strange looks, And had even been beckoned to head inside by a few civilians and one marine recruit, He remained entirely silent, Merely staring at the platform, Reminiscing back on the stories that old man Kishida used to speak of. The tale of the pirate king Gol D roger, And how his death sparked a golden age of piracy.

Otoko had already completed one half of what he wished to accomplish in Logue Town, Now all he had to do was seek out a crew to join. That was, After he'd decided that he'd been staring in absolute awe at the execution platform for long enough.

With the winds still blowing hard and fast down the almost tunnel like streets Wynter could feel his robes being whipped away from his body. Keeping the hood up had become a struggle too and one he wasn't enjoying. But he as not alone in this battle as he witnessed various other citizens struggling to keep themselves shielded against the wind walking in the opposite direction.

Spotting a young lady who slipped falling flat on her face Wynter stopped and watched as countless others wandered past ignoring her. Biting his tongue he stepped towards her and offered his hand.

"Here." with his hand offered to her he elt her icy cold fingers wrap around his own. With a smile on his face as she got to her feet Wynter watched the lady head off on her way once more. No thanks, no nothing. But that wasn't why he'd helped. He'd helped because it was the right thing to do.

As a first part of this plan Wynter would need to gain the attention of numerous people which would be a difficult thing to accomplish in such weather. Entering a bar with a large wooden banner on top which read 'Alf's Drinking Hole' he decided here he could place the first part of his plan into action given there were no Marines inside.

Pushing through the doors and peering around Wynter couldn't quite see anyone who resembled a Marine which made him smile. Sitting at the bar he was asked by the bar tender a burly man in a black vest which hung open with a bald head, mustache and arms covered in shit black tattoos.

"Mind taking that hood off?"

Shaking his head Wynter pulled it down and smiled back. Receiving a curious glance back the bartender shrugged of the thought that this kid was underage and continued as normal.

"What's your poison?"

After a quick glance around the room and use of his amazingly useless observation skills he spotted a pirate with large hefty arms a beard that would turn other men green with envy. Looking at his drink and unable to identify it Wynter pointed to the man and looked at the bar tender.

"I'll have what he's drinking."

"One Blue Yonder comin' up. That'll be 3.75." Throwing over the only note he had in his pocket Wynter snatched up the pint and change which was handed over. Instead of taking a sip or even a sniff he left the bar and headed for the pirate's table.

It was time to introduce himself.

The duo of thieves who were not only shit at theft but piracy as well could be found sitting in Alf's Drinking Hole drunker than drunk struggling to articulate. Since their week long stint of struggling to get to Logue Town riding aboard a wooden raft Tequila Gin and Rekord Koppa had nearly drowned six times.

But that's what you get when you don't pay attention to what you're stealing. Tequila had jumped aboard a  raft and coated himself and Rekord in chains for armour as they sailed away, but by the time they realized they'd hopped on a child's raft it was too late and time to make do.

Lifting another bottle to his lips Tequila felt the piss stinking alcohol drain down his throat and thought about how they'd managed to get this drunk with no money at all.

It was either a talent or he was drinking urine.

"Heads up Tequila!" Rekord said as he noticed fresh blood enter the bar. As the gentleman in the brown robes with hair of the same colour Rekord turned to Tequila.

"Rock, paper, scissors?"

"You're going to lose this time."

As both chanted readying themselves up to the throw down Rekord watched Tequila's hands as closely as he could without getting hit and Tequila prepared to throw down the same as he'd thrown down the previous eight times.

With a tightly clenched fist down went a fist and a set of scissors.

"DAMMMITT!"

With a smile appearing over a furry mouth Tequila returned to his drink and gestured for Rekord to bring in the drinks from the new guy.

Getting to his feet and heading towards the kid who'd just bought a pint of something which looked half decent and wet enough to wet his whistle. Rekord noticed he was heading towards the pirate with the blackest of beards and felt a shiver head down his spine.

Rekord wasn't feeling so good about this anymore.

Re: Roger's Memory

Post by Raizen on Sat Jan 30, 2016 8:18 pm

Clambering to his feet after a few minutes which had passed in what seemed like a matter of hours, The young man would give one last glance at the platform which he'd been sitting cross legged in front of. He'd not been present at the moment of execution, Considering he hadn't even been conceived as of yet, But looking at the platform in which the pirate king had been publicly executed upon sent the oddest, Most distant feeling of nostalgia through him. Giving a small curt nod, The still adolescent pirate would whisper two words before turning around and heading through town. "Thank you."

After a series of turns through town, The strong winds causing his bright orange vest to sway uncontrollably in the wind, The pirate had wound up at a place in which he was, Currently, Not legally allowed to enter. A bar by the name of 'Alf's drinking hole'. Pondering the thought in his mind for a few brief moments, Otoko decided to enter. What harm could be done? He'd perhaps meet some new people, And if lucky find a crew which would be willing to accept him. He'd get to bask in a talkative, Energy filled atmosphere, Immune to the strong wind currents. And lastly, He'd be directly going against the rules whilst simultaneously enjoying himself, Indulging in an alcoholic beverage at the ripe young age of 16.

Upon taking his first step into the bar, Otoko was greeted with a powerful aroma that embodied a mix between some powerful alcohol and tainted cat piss. It took every bit of willpower within his being to not scrunch his nose. After getting past the immediate shock of the powerful aroma which had filled the entire bar, Otoko would allow his eyes to scan from left to right. First, He laid his eyes upon a heavily clothing clad individual, Whom, Under the layers of fabric he donned, Otoko could of SWORN he'd seen some traces of a white fur like substance covering the mans skin. Shrugging his shoulders softly, The next thing that caught his eye was a reindeer like creature which appeared to be trotting across the room, Which then led Otoko to shift his gaze to the other side of the bar.

His eyes immediately fell upon two individuals, One, Which he could have SWORN under oath was a pirate if it wasn't already obvious, Possessing the very blackest of beards he'd ever seen. And the second, A gentleman in brown robes, Who appeared to be a young man judging by what Otoko could make out of his facial features from the entrance to the bar. Another sight caught his eye, The drink the gentleman appeared to be carrying with him, And which the pirate appeared to be sipping from.

Beginning to pace towards the bar, Otoko Quickly would reach into his pocket and grab the last remaining note he had, Ordering the same drink which the two individuals at the pirate's table had ordered. And to his surprise, He hadn't been turned down due to suspicion of being underage. Taking the pint and nodding his thanks to the bartender, Otoko decided to head towards the table which the pirate was sitting at, And the young man appeared to be headed towards.

He'd decided he was going to introduce himself, Explain his intentions, And maybe finally be able to join a crew after two years of fleeing from his home island.

Taking a seat at the pirate's table Wynter placed down the drink in hand and looked towards the black bearded brute who sat across from him looking back puzzled. Gazing towards Wynter with an expression of luck on his face Wynter felt a little confused but not yet worried. When he heard the footsteps of another person and warmth beside him though this shook him slightly.

Turning to the left he caught sight of a young individual with the same drink. Seemed he was either a member of this black bearded guy's crew or he was trying the same trick.

Little bastard! he thought to himself.

"What be this about young lads?!" the booming voice of the pirate captain came across with bits of saliva and a scent that could only be described as this man's morning shit.

"Well I was going to offer you this drink and ask if maybe you'd like to know about a little event I was hosting a little later as I figured a big strong guy like you might enjoy it, but never mind. It's not important, I see you've got a nice evening planned already with this young concubine."

Getting up from the table and turning leaving an angered pirate behind Wynter was met by the gleefully creepy face of a reindeer who seemed to want his drink.

"HOW DARE YOU!" the booming voice arose once more this time from behind Wynter. Turning to catch sight of the black bearded pirate Wynter raised an eyebrow.

Standing up and rearing himself to a full 6ft in height the pirate slammed his fist down on the table shattering it into pieces with his might fist.

"Dare you accuse me of sleeping with young boys?! Do you not know who I am?!" removing a flintlock pistol from the black belt which stretched across his chest the pirate with a beard as black as night pointed it at Wynter's head. Ready to fire and take his life his finger rested on the trigger.

"Feared pirate of the East Blue Columbus Kruger, leader of the Black Claw Pirates!"

With the flintlock in his direction and the young guy still sitting at the table that was no more, Wynter yawned a little tired of this egotistical display but at the same time bored of his speech.

"That's great, your mother must be very proud of you."

Feeling the anger coarse through him just a little more Kruger pulled back the hammer on his flintlock and a smile begin to arise from his mouth one many men throughout the bar knew all too well.

Not only was this overly sensitive black bearded baby about to pull the trigger but he was about to unleash hell in this very bar and still under an hour into Wynter's arrival.

Well they do say trouble comes looking for you. But in Wynter's case he makes it.

Watching the situation unfold from the table Tequila reached down for his sawn off in case something broke out. He wasn't yet looking for a fight, or even at all. More or less a crew to be on his merry way with, but the pirate life was hard. People who wanted to join a crew were difficult to find. Mostly cause everyone wants their own crew.

Sighing as he watched how Wynter replied Tequila's grip on his sawn off shot gun grew tighter. He thought about using his harpoon but it would be nose use. The sawn off had a better blast radius and as long as he could warn Rekord to get out of the way things would be fine.

The eyes of dozens of others had turned to Wynter and Kruger and it seemed everyone was waiting for much the same response.

As Wynter had turned to leave the table Rekord almost head butted Wynter. He thoight maybe if he held an expression of pity on his face he'd be in luck. But no such luck, instead he found himself being glared back at by a confused child. Looking towards the other young man with a beer Rekord hoped to gain something.

This was all interrupted though when Kruger got to his feet and started shouting about how feared he was. Rekord hadn't felt fear but embarrassment for Kruger having to make mention of himself as a feared god like pirate. The only people who did that were the weak ones. Although there was one other type and when the gleaming smile of Kruger showed up beneath his black beard Rekord knew just which one this was.

Turning from the scene much like everyone else would Rekord rushed to greet Tequila.

"We need to leave now!"

"It's just a bar fight Rekord."

"No it's not."

Eyes widening ever so slightly, Otoko would give a soft chuckle at the other young mans comment. He'd noticed something in the eyes of that reindeer, And it wasn't so hard to tell that he appeared to want the drink he'd been carrying. Taking a small sip from the pint before setting it down on the bar, Otoko would casually lean against said bar, Both of his arms crossed as he glanced at the pirate with the unusually black beard, And then to the young man, His gaze resting upon the latter before he spoke up in a rather soft voice.

"Forgive me, But I almost feel insulted. I mean, Let's be honest here. I could do WAYYYYY better than that!"
He exclaimed, Followed by a mildly loud chuckle, Pointing his left index finger at the pissed off pirate known as Kruger. He then took a few deep breaths, Attempting to stifle his laughter.

"Now, You! Reindeer, Over there." He pointed his right index finger to the same reindeer whom he'd observed eyeing his drink, Exclaiming loudly so he'd be heard. "I don't need this drink anyway, It's bad for my cholesterol." Okoto exclaimed, Having not a clue in the slightest what cholesterol actually was, Only hearing the term tossed around before in the past.
Grinning ever so slightly, Okoto leaned against the bar in a far more relaxed fashion, Quite open to any possible angle of attack as he glanced between the two men.

"Hmm, None of my business. Continue." He said, Addressing both Kruger and the as of yet nameless young man. While it was all fun and games to tease serious situations, This one in particular, The men clearly had some business to settle and he wouldn't get in the way of that. Instead, He glanced over to the other side of the bar, Eyeing the establishment for the reindeer who'd been practically drooling over his and the young man's drinks.

At the mention of doing better than Kruger by the young imbecile in Kruger's thoughts this only further angered him. Wynter quite frankly didn't care but as Kruger stood before him with his flintlock pointed in his direction he was going to be made to care.

"You filthy little shit bags!" Kruger shouted as he squeezed the trigger on his flintlock. Sending a bullet in Wynter's direction it was quickly avoided by a simple side step to the left. But what would follow next would take them by surprise.

The devilish smile that everyone had recognized and which had caused the bar tender to duck down behind his bar was that of none of than the sociopath Konpeki Smile.

Ripping his beard from his face Konpeki's face was revealed and an iron bar rose from beneath the costume of which he threw aside. Revealing his Marine uniform beneath Konpeki allowed his costume to fall to the ground covering the mess that he'd created of the table.

"Now you're gonna get it ya bastards!"

Leaping high into the air Konpeki swept his iron bar in a downward fashion for Wynter's head of whom didn't seem surprised to see the outfit cast aside nor did he seem bothered at the sudden attack heading his way.

Clenching a fist tightly he grinned to himself.

Life Return: Body Heat: Fire Fist

Raising this heated fist and launching it towards Mr Smile and his iron bar Wynter twisted the right side of his body to the left so he was now facing Konpeki side ways and hi iron bar would slam down before him.

As Konpeki came crashing down Wynters fist came shooting up for a gut punch. The searing heat from his fist met with a hellish pain which sent grunts from Konpeki's mouth.

Being hit sent pain through his body of a new kind he'd never experienced before. Falling on to his back still clutching his iron bar Konpeki looked up at Wynter as did most of the bar.

In shock and awe at his act the bar wanted to cheer but felt things may be too early.

Wynter hadn't expected such a peculiar circumstance but he had achieved what he'd set out to. He had a crowd's attention. Stepping on to a chair and elevating himself higher than the others he spoke out loud.

"My name is Wynter. Josh Wynter to be precise. Gol D Roger was executed here upon a platform just down the road. I will break that platform."

As Konpeki lay on the floor looking up at this little dreamer who'd identified himself as Wynter Konpeki grinned. Wynter eh?

With a tight grip on his pipe he knew time would be to strike once more. This time he'd really pack a punch. As much as he wanted to harm the other foul mouthed shit bag who thought he could do better Wynter was the one who'd really pissed him off.

Reaching for a flintlock that he'd had hold of earlier he pointed it towards Otoko and squeezed the trigger quickly attempting to do some serious harm. The bar felt warm and as Wynter hopped from the table he felt something catch in his throat which made him cough.

Covering his mouth as he coughed he noticed how the bar seemed to have gotten warmer and his fist was no loner heated.

"What do you mean it's not?" Tequila questioned confused.

"I wouldn't expect you to know, but that man. Kruger isn't who he says."

"Well who the hell is he?"

Grabbing hold of Tequila and dragging him from the seat Rekord wanted out and now. He not only recognized Konpeki Smile first hand but had witnessed his strength first hand when members of his previous crew had been arrested by him. He was a force to be reckoned with that was for sure.

As the two made their exit Rekord heard someone call out to him and as the young boy he was next about to approach for a drink offered his to them Rekord paused momentarily before he saw Konpeki unleash a bullet towards Wynter in which this was enough to make his decision.

But not enough to make Tequila's.

"You are not refusing that drink!"

Since arriving on this island Tequila had spent time focusing on the chains he seemed to be able to control and release from his body. He hadn't had a chance before but now he saw that they flowed easily when he thought about it instead of panicking. It was simple but when he tried to over complicate the through things went wrong.

However this was a simple thing and from Tequila's body sprung a chain which wrapped around the mug. Snatching it from Otokos grip and yanking it towards himself Tequila split some but still made for the door.

By the time he'd reached the door and the two were outside the drink was gone and the bar was almost empty from pirates running out of fear of Konpeki or hiding in the corners of the bar.

As these two reached the outside they were met with a heap of pirates unconscious and injured. Resting atop this small heap was the foot of The Hell Hound and Naval Captain Heartly Hayes and a subordinate Warrant Officer Colton Ryker.

"Ryker, are these two wanted pirates?" Heartly questioned as he held his Heart Stopped pointed at the two from his current position.

Yawning Colton was displaying his tiredness clearly to the whole world and as the question from Hayes arrived in his brain which seemed to be slightly too long his brain quickly searched files and records of any information about the yeti and reindeer stood before him who looked so flabbergasted and shocked.

Shaking his head Colton's reply was a simple no.

"Not that I know off."

Nodding Hayes lowered his Heart stopper and gestured with his head to the side.

"You two are free to go. Now get out of here. We've work to do."

Colton seemed to be in the process of achieving something within the bar. He stepped closer to the entrance until he was inside the bar. As Colton arrived inside the fortifications of the bar he stopped and looked around. People were coughing due to his ash and some even seemed to be complaining about the burning ash that they'd just breathed in. The only ones who weren't was Wynter as his body was used to burning. Konpeki even felt the singe but did his best to ignore it.

Reacting within half a second to the bullet which had been fired towards him, Otoko's sternum in which the bullet had hit quickly turned to a bright orange flame which then spread across the floor within a small radius just outside of Konpeki, Chuckling and giving a grin. Lifting his finger and manipulating the flames with his thought alone, Otoko would quickly form the flames from the ground around Konpeki in a circle before chanting the words "Flame Up Net." He would say in a soft tone, Before speaking up once more. "Ah, A marine are ya? Shame, I was gonna ask to join your crew, Too." He said with a chuckle before suddenly coughing a bit, His throat starting to slightly clog. He took a few moments to regain his composure, Forming his entire upper body into flame which had heated the surrounding area to swear inducing temperatures.

Glancing around briefly, He would then notice the bits of ash like substance floating within the air around him. Gulping down and quickly adjusting to the breathing conditions due to being made out of fire, As due to being a flame man he'd been used to the heat.

"Oh boy, It's heating up in here, Anyone else getting sweaty?"
He asked in a blatantly sarcastic tone, Before looking towards Konpeki once more and raising his arms, Putting his index fingers together in a cross shape before chanting something once more.

"Cross fire."

He spoke in a calm tone as a cross shaped column of fire was launched directly at Konpeki, The structure careening towards him at a high speed.

The sound of ocean waves filled Kaito's ears as he neared the Docks. He wasn't exactly sure why he was supposed to meet a captain that day. From what he had heard the guy he was meeting was a young man who had been quickly moving through the ranks. But hey who was he to question such simple orders. It was most likely he was there to show him around an unlucky pick of the draw he guessed.

As he pulled a cigarette pack from his coats pocket the sunlight glared off his dark sunglasses. It only took a few moments for him to light it with his lighter. "Now how in the hell am I supposed to find this guy.." He mutters somehow avoiding the people around him. It was rather easy to see in a way as the peoples movements caused vibrations allowing him to "see" them in a way. With a sigh he takes a seat on top of some rather large crates as he takes another drag from his cigarette trying to think of some way to find the person he was supposed to meet.

Feeling his throat growing more so choked up Wynter coughed a little an looked back towards Konpeki and the other kid who'd sat beside him. They seemed to be trying to finish each other off which he figured he'd let happen as it was no longer a problem of his to be dealt with but the coughing and spluttering he would be doing shortly was. He looked around for an exit to discover minus leaping through a potentially unbreakable window due to the metal wiring which went through most of it the only other exit was the front door.

Standing before it was a dark skinned Marine or at least Wynter would guess he was a marine with dreadlocks and a guitar upon his back. Making his way towards the door feeling a little choked up Wynter could see the ash was coming from him.

What a bastard! Wynter thought to himself as he approached. This guy was not only a marine but trying to suffocate him. The ashes burnt away at his lungs and Wynter thought it time to deliver a punch. Pushing past the other patrons who struggled to breath and collapsed around him Wynter was knocked into a table by a larger woman who seemed to be choking to death by the ungodly sounds which came from her mouth.

Using all of his strength Wynter did what he could to pull himself from under her and started making his way towards Colton once more.

Standing in front of him he looked the guy int he eye before he drew back his fist.

Before his fist could meet Wynter was met with an endless trail of hardened ash from below. Black Trail: Black Bruiser smacking Wynter in the jaw he was sent skywards and soaring up through the roof with a scolding heat burning his chin and neck.

Shooting through the air Wynter felt the cool breeze brush past him before a sudden watery solution washed over him. He'd been blasted out of the bar and landed in the water which held the ships at the docks. With his head slightly spinning and such a rapid change in temperature shocking his body he tried to pull himself together and get his plan together. He'd just been throw from a bar by a single marine on this island and he was looking to burning down the platform. He'd need to be smart about something like this.

Watching the pirate known as Josh Wynter explain how he was goin' to break the execution platform sent shivers of anger and excitement through Konpeki's spine. A new pirate. A young pirate. A sociopath just like him on the other side. Konpeki had half a mind to let him so he could capture Wynter at a later date and really climb the ranks.

These thoughts however were quickly subsided when he noticed how his bullet on the young lad he'd had his flintlock pointed at didn't quite hit the mark how he'd expected. Feeling his lungs in pain thanks to Colton's fucking ash he noticed how a flaming circle appeared around him and he suddenly felt trapped.

As the id spoke about joining his crew if he were a pirate Konpeki contemplated a life of piracy for a full few seconds before he threw the flintlock aside and gripped his pipe tightly. Watching as the young lad launched out a flame projectile in his direction Konpeki prepared himself for the hurt that would be coming his way.

With his pipe in front of him and the well known devil's smile plastering his face Konpeki along with all his scars and the smile that gained him his name leapt into the air. Pouncing into the air high enough to leap out of the trap of flames that Otoko had set for him Konpeki sustained burns over his body of which he would do his best to ignore despite the pain.

He'd received much worse from Colton during sparring. With his pipe in hand and the cross of flames shooting beneath him he drew his pipe downwards towards Otoko in a wicked vile attempt to pin him to the ground. He recognized this type of logia user and wasn't a fan.

Armaments Haki: Letter I

Swinging the pipe downwards to create the letter I Konpeki attempted to hit Otoko in the head from above and bring him to his knees. Even if he didn't Colton was still in the room so he could attempt something.

Spotting Otoko and Konpeki up ahead Colton decided this was going to be dealt with and dealt with fairly. Even though Konpeki was a sociopath and possibly the most deranged on the team. He had haki which was more than could bbbe said for the rest of the team.

Colton had seen the kid sprint towards him and get crushed by a large woman in a blue waist coat and when he'd tried to punch him, Colton set him flying with a grin. Anything else was too much effort and if the kid hadn't been a pirate this would be an appropriate punishment to the attempt of trying to assault a Marine officer.

Stepping further into the bar Colton begun to absorb all of the ash which littered the establishment back into his body as far as he could see all of the possible pirates bar one were downed. With one hand still raised in case Colton called out as loud as his half assed voice could be bothered.

"Captain Hayes it's clear."

Entering the bar behind Colton and stepping in front to gain a full view of the place he spotted up ahead Konpeki dealing with Otoko and looked back at Colton.

"I thought you said the place was clear."

"It virtually is and anyway, it's not like that mera mera user can hurt any of us. We're all immune to heat except Smile and he's a haki user."

"That is a good point."

Heartly didn't just want the pirates in this establishment beaten though he wanted them captured. Heading behind the bar picked up the bar keep and helped him aside. Sitting him down just against a wall he headed back behind the bar.

"That was kinda crazy back there."

"Just a little we nearly got our asses handed to us by the Devil's Smile."

"I know right, but how cool would it have been if we we able to defeat him?"

"Yea, why don't we just head back and knock him out then string him up like a fish?"

"Ok now, don't take the piss Rekord."

"So uh, what now?"

"I uh, I don't know."

"Well you're the captain."

"Then I guess we should get a ship?"

"Might be a good starting point if we want to get off of this island. I dunno about you, but I'm sick and tired of hitching a ride."

"I don't mind."

"yeah but you're not the one having to turn down several potential partners in the animal hold."

"Urgh really?"

"Nah I kid. No one looks at me that way."

Re: Roger's Memory

Otoko Kaen Shisui

It all happened in a few seconds, Leaving Otoko with just barely enough time to react to the marine known as Konpeki Smile's attack. Though, He was only able to clench his fist, But wasn't able to entirely sidestep the attack.

Instead, As the thick lead pipe came crashing down on the back of his shoulder with great force, Enough to leave a large bruise on his usually intangible body, Otoko gave a loud pained grunt. Though, As he'd already begun setting his plan into motion, He did not waste a single second or regret any moment of it.

With a sudden, Yet brilliant flash of orange light a few mere inches away from Konpeki's abdomen, Otoko would cry out loudly in a voice that gave off nothing but a sense of true vigor. "Fire fist!" He would yell loudly, His fist having erupted into a column of flames as he threw a punch directly at Konpeki's abdomen with blinding speed.

Though, Otoko did not wish to stay and do combat with this marine, He wished to seek out that Individual going by the name of Josh Wynter, As he could perhaps seek a place within his crew or come across another pirate crew possibly searching for members. He quickly allowed his entire upper body to morph into a bright orange flame, Not even realizing if he had hit the marine or not as he launched the same attack whilst flying directly at the bars wall. "Fire fist!" He called out loudly as the column of fire which had been launched from his fist towards the wall of the bar had put a significantly large hole in the wall, Allowing Otoko quick a quick exit.

"Whoo! I guess ya could say I'm really 'On fire'!" Otoko exclaimed quite cornily, Flying at top speed through the sky and higher into the air, Beginning to scout the city for the man known as Josh Wynter, Hoping to speak with him.

Now that he had already come this far, Otoko had absolutely no desire to hide his intentions anymore. So he seized the moment.

:Hey! Everyone! I'm looking for a pirate crew, I can navigate, And I'm pretty 'Hot headed'. I can also kick ass!" The sixteen year old exuberantly exclaimed at the summit of his lungs. Flying quickly through the sky and repeating his phrase a few times, Causing it to echo aloud through the now lively town.

...............................................................................................................

???

With his large frame trumping over every other crew member aboard his vessel, The male stood entirely in silence at the bow of the ship, Staring out into the sea as he remained reminiscent about the times of a distant past, One he'd attempted to leave long behind him.

"Sir, Reporting for duty, Sir!" The young marine recruit said loudly, Standing a few feet behind his commanding officer who had been standing at the bow of the ship, Staring out thousands of meters into the seemingly endless horizon. With the top of his left hand against his forehead, Saluting his commanding officer.

Not even speaking, The marine in question merely gave a soft nod of the head, Preferring not to even move the position of his body in the slightest.

"Sir, We're within just a few miles of Loguetown, We're estimated to arrive in fifteen minutes sir. Though there appears to be a storm of some sort occurring on the island. The crew has been informed and advised to proceed with caution in all on ship activities once we're within a few thousand feet of Loguetown, Sir!" The young recruit stated obediently, Repeating what his superiors had told him to.

"Remind the rest of the crew to remain cautious once more, And inform them that after we dock most of the crew will guard the ship from any Imminent threat, And ensure nothing goes undetected. I will be taking fourteen others off the ship, Excluding myself. They will all split up into crews of two, And I will lead a solo effort to spot any suspicious criminal activity and detain any criminals. We will all meet back at the ship within a period of 24 hours." The gargantuan sized man spoke In a deep tone.

Giving a nod, The recruit headed off to inform the rest of his fellow crew mates of the orders the captain of the ship had given.

Drawing in a small breath before exhaling, The marine sighed gently. Slowly Drifting more and more away from reality, And further Into the world of his thoughts.

As The minutes pasted Kaito's mind slowly drifted,if what he had heard was true this captain was rather young for his ranking. Kaito himself had to work his ass off just to reach his rank,he remembered the times he was often left alone by himself to clean long hallways when others were supposed to help him. He had come so very close to quitting a few times but he had been happy he hadn't.

Suddenly the loud sound of someone shouting  filled his ears making him flinch. 'A pirate crew..?"He says softly with a frown. What should he do...go find the source of the voice...or stay here and let the captain know? With a sigh he stayed put figuring it be wiser to go with a group then alone. Not to mention he wasn't about to get in shit for not following orders.

With a grunt, Mandoralla walked her way through the throng of people in the street. There were market stalls left and right, people busying themselves, going where they needed. She need not know where to go, she only followed orders from one source.
It’s rotten.

She stopped, frowning as she looked at the apple she’d brought a couple of moments ago. She exerted pressure upon it until orange-ish sludge oozed from its broken surface, mixed with brown. The smell reminiscent of wine or some other alcoholic drink filled her nostrils as she frowned, turning and walking back to the shopkeeper.
Rotten apples should not be sold.

She’d stand in front of him, her grin unchanging despite the transgression.
This apple, it was rotten.” She’d say, dumping it onto his stall. The shopkeeper looked ready to argue, before she slammed her hand down, causing it to crack and splinter a little. “I will not stand for this transgression.” She’d lean in closer, nose-to-nose. “If I see one more rotten apple from this stall, I will destroy you.” She’d say.
Make an example.

Nodding, she’d raise her arm again and –smash- the stall, the shopkeeper yelling out in surprise, annoyance and ultimately despair as his foodcart is broken in two.
Be thankful for this second chance!” She’d call over his groans, before turning, walking along the street once more, the people regarding her wearily.

Re: Roger's Memory

Post by Docile on Sun Feb 07, 2016 3:18 am

Sinking ever deeper Wynter could feel a slight echoing pain reverberating through his neck and head. Hi eyes sprung open to find fish dart all around him of all sizes and shapes. He was surprised at how far down he'd come when he looked up as all his eyes could see was a dark sky. This unsettled him a little but not nearly enough when he took a look down. There were still large thick bulky chains reaching further down with anchors which lay at the bottom.

Using his arms to propel himself, Wynter pushed against the strong currents of water which pushed towards Logue town and propelled himself towards an anchor which by the looks of it was in the midst of being raised.

Grabbing hold of the chain Wyner thought he had a tighter grip than he did when the chain continued heading skyward and he was left behind. His next opportunity came when the anchor appeared to which Wynter positioned himself directly above it. As the anchor soared skywards Wynter was met with a large squishy feeling against his legs.

Upon a quick glance he discovered why.

Long sticky tentacles wrapped around his legs and begun to climb up his torso. Not only had he landed on the anchor but an octopus as well. Grabbing hold of two tentacles one for each hand, Wynter tried fighting against it but found the tentacles would only drag his hands away. A fire was called for and Wynter knew just the place.

Life Return: Body Heat: Flaming

Increasing the heat of his body to temperatures that would easily singe an octopus the grasp was loosened within a matter of moments and the octopus fled just before the surface of the water. Bursting out Wynter took a deep much needed breath.

As he lay on the anchor and it reached it's summit he looked up to see a Naval officer looking over board at the drenched and slightly out of breath Wynter.

"Hi." Wynter would reply to which the soldier took a step back and vanished over the edge of the ship. Unsure as to why Wynter did realize that there was a big issue he would need to address.

There were ships all along the harbor and not just normal ships but Naval ships. Not just did he not have a ship but he didn't want Marine ships chasing him once he accomplished his goal. Hopping from the anchor and on to the docks he landed on his feet before they slipped from under him and his chin hit the ground.

"Ow" Picking himself up slowly Wynter head the sound of some kind of ruckus. Looking around he spotted a large woman trashing a stall selling apples. One of the apples rolled past Wynter in front to which he picked it up and looked towards the lady then the stall owner.

Heading towards the stall Wynter set the apple down in front of the owner and then looked at the lady who'd smashed it. He wanted to deal with her but now wasn't the time. As horrible as she looked he couldn't draw danger his way. He had a job to do.

Looking at the ships which lined the harbor Wynter approached the first one he spotted which belonged to the navy. With an anchor lowered and soldiers clearly aboard he checked around left then right to see if anyone was watching.

With no one watching he took a leap towards the chain and as he landed Wynter placed a hand on the chain ready to sabotage the Naval forces of Logue Town. Not only would the ship be useless in pursuit if anyone was on the island but if anyone was aboard they couldn't stop off at an island so easily without making a few radical changes.

Life Return: Body Heat: Fire Fist

Placing his hand on the chains Wynter could feel his body in pain from the heat as if his organs were about to have a serious melt down problem, but he would continue. If there was to be a serious issue then he would worry, but until then he'd be just fine. Melting the chain he watched as molten slag dripped from the chain and it sizzled in the water below sending out a large cloud of steam.

It'd be worth it in the long run and he knew it.

Feeling the pipe come into contact with the kid Konpeki felt a sense of relief that he had managed to succeed and as the pipe came loose and Otoko's fist came his direction launching out a pillar of pure flames which would burn through most things this is one thing it wouldn't as it wasn't just the pipe of Konpeki's that was coated in the dark armour of Armaments Haki but his entire torso.

Even though the fist would hit it would not deal out as much damage as was hoped for. Taking the impact head on Konpeki was sent against the wall. However he quickly made a recovery getting to his feet as he slid down the wall. Watching the kid with the flame like powers Konpeki looked towards Colton & Heartly.

"AREN'T YOU GONNA DO ANYTHING!?" he shouted furiously as a wall was blown to pieces by another flaming blast. Leaping after Otoko, Konpeki fell flat watching as the kid shot into the air with the aid of his fire like gift.

Slamming his pipe into the floor repeatedly he started a string of curse words which flew so quickly from his mouth they were almost indeterminable.

Watching as the smoke cleared from the hole an a voice begun to echo above them Colton pulled up a near by chair and sat down on it as he rested his feet on the gut of the large woman who'd earlier crushed Wynter.

Heartly looked around and started to question what their current catch was. Of course they'd missed a few targets who were beli less but it still would've been nice to stop future pirates.

"Konpeki calm down, we've still managed to get ourselves a great catch here so I would say we'e accomplished one thing today and that is a good catch. We'll split it three ways so we all have something to our name. I'm going to make a call to hq to have some body pick this up."

"That kid Colton knocked through the roof said he was gonna break the execution platform!!!!"

"Ok then we'll get the defenses around the platform increased. If we can bring in some turrets and more man power then we can make sure we're ready for him right?"

"I want to be posted there so I can wipe the smile of the c#*t's face!"

"Want me to accompany him?" Colton asked raising his head lazily.

"I don't need your help dick face dragon!" Konpeki angrily retorted.

"Yes please, Konpeki I don't want to hear it. You two head to the execution platform and wait for reinforcements you should meet Captain Ciguros there. I'll warm him now to let him know of the impending danger coming."

Like a spoiled child Konpeki begun to smash a chair to pieces at the news. He wanted to do it on his own and not with the aid of Colton the dick faced dragon but here they were now making their way from the bar and down the street.

"I hate you." Konpeki said as he walked beside Colton who had his hands in his pockets and slowly made his way behind Konpeki towards the platform. He wasn't really listening so he missed the part about being hated by Konpeki but definitely heard something but it just sounded like a mumble as far as he was concerned.

As the two made their way down another street Rekord blurted out a good question towards Tequila which was yet to be figured out by either of them.

"So, do you actually have any idea yet what our next move is?"

"Not a clue."

"But you're the captain are you not?"

"Yeah but . . . "

"You really don't have a clue do you?"

Tequila shook his head.

Up above both could hear the sound of a voice which echoed, but neither could quite make it out. As far as they were concerned it was simply the sound of just noise and noise alone. As the noise grew louder both looked up to see a person shooting across the sky but no clear voice was heard.

"What was that?"

"A shooting star?"

"Come on, be serious!"

"I am"

"But it's day time."

"Ok then maybe it's a meteorite."

Tequila shot Rekord a dirty look and then returned his gaze skyward.

"Well whatever it was, it's gone now. So how about our next move is getting a ship?"

"Sounds better, but still. Where are we going to get a ship from?"

"Let's steal one."

"Ok well the docks are back that way."

"Nah there shit ones. Lets steal one from the Marine compound. Bound to be better ones."

"Ya think?"

"They are the Navy. Or we could take one they took of an arrested Pirate. Who knows. Might have something special in their cargo hold."

"And which way is that?"

Tequila looked left then right for an indication on which direction to head before he shrugged giving up as no signs gave him an clue.

"I have no idea, but I guess we're going to have to find a marine."

"And what? Do you expect they'll just tell us where it is?!"

Otoko Kaen Shisui

After a few minutes of flying through the sky, The bright orange glow which Illuminated the sky had ceased as Otoko had now touched down on land. In the midst of his endorphin high, He had decided to head towards the docks, As he figured there'd maybe be a ship there which he could possibly secure, Even if no one had heard his cry for recruitment. And, On the plus side, If he found those marine's ship he could either steal some of their cargo for himself, Or have a little fun practicing with the powers of his flame fruit.

Slyly grinning to himself, Otoko continued heading towards the direction in which he himself had docked at the island, Whistling a soft tune to himself as he nonchalantly walked slowly, His vest swaying in the wind.

He had begun to grow quite excited at the prospect of more marines being on the island, As he loved a good fight as much as the next person. He was quite proud of himself for managing to escape back at the bar, But also realized he'd just barely managed to, As the bruise on his shoulder had begun to ache.

As he pushed through the pain, Otoko's mind had begun to wonder, Before settling upon the prospect of Wynter. He seemed like a young man with high hopes, Just like himself. And furthermore, It was clear he wished to cause a ruckus in the town. That much could be seen in his announcement of his intentions.

Stumbling from time to time, Otoko continued to make his merry way toward the docks. Though, While walking with the occasional stumble, He had come to wonder one single thing.

Did that reindeer grab his drink before he left?
...............................................................................................................

???

Due to either a fair amount of luck, Or perhaps because they'd been at the right place at the right time, The strong currents of the east blue had carried them towards the island at a higher speed than what they normally sailed and as a result they were much closer than anticipated.

"Sir, We've successfully Cast anchor, Sir!"

The same young Marine recruit had called out from the stern of the ship. They'd been so fast, In fact, That they'd already arrived at Loguetown.

Giving a small nod and turning around, The marine captain had headed towards the large ramp which his crew had already lowered down to the Island. And upon reaching it, He began his descent from The Iron Victory onto the dock.

"The highest ranking fourteen officers aboard this vessel, Break off into groups of two and explore Loguetown. Do not separate from each other. Report any suspicious activity back here at the ship. I'll be going alone. You all have twenty four hours. The rest of the crew stays and guards the ship." The man called out to his crew as he took his first step onto the wooden dock.

The members of his crew which had been instructed to de-board the ship quickly did so, All quickly exiting the docks and entering the town before splitting off into their own directions.

Though, One thing had caught the eye of the captain, Something rather peculiar. He'd spotted a man slightly larger than him in height, Sitting atop some random shipping crates of some sort. The had attire consisting of what looked to be a very well insulated hoodie, With a pair of faded jeans, And just some sandals.

While the mans appearance was certainly odd, The marine had more so wondered why he'd been sitting atop the shipping crates, And who he may have been waiting for.

Slowly approaching him, And stopping a few feet away, The marine cleared his throat softly.

"Excuse me sir, Is there someone you're waiting for here?" He asked, Addressing him as if they were equals.

Kaito had been deep in his memories when a sudden voice brought him out of his thoughts "Me? As a matter of fact yes, I am waiting for someone...trouble is I have no idea what they look like or their name.." He says before resting his chin in his left palm "I swear Headquarters just likes to screw with me" He mutters softly as he shifts him weight causing his Sakabatō to come into plain view. From what he could tell of the vibrations his man was rather large, almost as tall as him, this was a rather surprising thing to see as he rarely ever found others as tall as himself.

Mandoralla continued to walk down the street, heedless of the good deed done behind her. Her hammer was slung over her shoulder. Her stomach rumbled as she remembered why she brought the apple. Looking around, she found herself walking on the road to the harbour, it just coming into view. There wasn’t a proper food stall in sight now, mostly uncooked fish. She’d sigh, the apple lowered her spirits. She rallied her morale and pushed forth, her patrol was far from over.

Walking along, she’d smell something. Burning metal.
Check it.
Nodding, she’d begin to walk toward an alleyway, stopping as the smell grew fainter before walking the other way. Across it she’d notice a large amount of steam build up, unslinging her hammer from her shoulder she began her march.
Perhaps it is a blacksmith. Perhaps not.
Perhaps.” She agreed.
If it is the work of an evil-doer, he or she must be destroyed.
Yes.” She nodded.
And you are hungry. You must eat afterwards.
But justice first.
But justice first.

Appearing out of the walkway, she’d look along the waterway. She looked down, the mist cooling as the hot metal did. Looking along, she’d see a man standing there.
Ask first.
Is this your doing?” She’d ask, grinning as usual at him with her wide, pin-pupil eyes.

Re: Roger's Memory

Post by Docile on Mon Feb 08, 2016 1:04 am

With the last bit of slag dripping into the waters below along with the anchor itself which resulted in a large splash Wynter leapt from the chain towards the pavement. Once his feet made contact and he could turn to see the ship with no means of stopping he grinned.

One ship down.

The steam would probably attract some unwanted attention but what did that matter when you had life return. It was pretty powerful, more to the point pretty impressive if you could master it.

Turning to head towards the next ship Wynter was met by the movable force of a large woman with a hammer in her hands and a voice which seemed to question if the ship that was sailing so easily from Logue town was because of him.

Looking up to see a set of pin pupil eyes glaring back Wynter stepped a few steps back then took a moment to look the individual up and down. Mostly up due to her size.

"Yea. Yea it is my doing." he replied confidently unafraid of what this hammer wielding behemoth could throw his way. "Now if you wouldn't mind, I have more important issues to deal with."

Stepping aside and heading towards another Marine ship which he could see was stationed further down.

However it wasn't just this behemoth of a woman who'd caught sight of his actions but the Naval officer of the ship who'd aided him in his return to the surface. As he stepped aside a bullet came speeding through the air towards him as three officers had exited the ship in an attempt to defend their ship from losing their anchor.

Great! Wynter thought to himself sarcastically. Shame no one else could hear the wit within his own head.

Clenching his fists tightly Wynter prepared himself for just another fight which he would have to endure but for all he knew enjoy as well.

With fists at the ready and a heart pounding for more a grin begun to stretch over his face.

Life Return: Circulatory

Things were about to get interesting and interesting meant exciting.

Exciting is what Wynter lived for.

Making their way down the street towards the execution platform at the news of the little idiot Wynter, the marines of the Broken Faces crew also known as Battalion 188 could feel a tension brewing but both felt uncertain if it were of the potential upcoming event or their sheer hatred towards one another.

"I fail to understand how you messed up a simple mission in that bar."

"It's only a failure if we didn't catch anyone!"

"Ok well we could've caught more but instead we caught three members of the Red Hearts, two members of Vendetta's and nine civilians. Oh and a small time petty thief."

"THAT STILL COUNTS!"

Rolling his eyes Colton quickly begun to add up the numbers and figure out how much there was to go round between the three of them.

"Ferris Horne the Red Hearts Navigator was worth 18,000, Drango & Julia Julip the marksmen of the Red Hearts are both 9,000. Then there's Vendetta's Doctor Iveko Bouchard & Nurse Edee. Iveko was worth 12,000,000 and Edee only 1,000. The nine citizens are worthless and the petty thief Sharlamane well he's worth about 500. So in total that's 120,375,00. So split that between the three of us and that's a total of 401,2500 each."

"Don't you try and diminish my successfulness on that mission! I've seen you bring in far less!"

"Yea, but people expect that from me. I'm the lazy dragon."

"Keep going and you'll be the fuckin' dead dragon."

"What was that?"

"You heard me!"

"Actually I really didn't. That's why I'm asking'"

"Too bad!"

With tensions raising Kopek's eyes soon fell upon the sight of the execution platform. He would rather see it in taters from the hands of that rotten blue kid Wynter than in it's glory of which Colton preferred to see.

Whipping his guitar from his back into his hands he begun to strum it gently. He wasn't exactly proficient with it yet, but he'd seen people playing them before and enjoyed the music. With his memory it would be easy to pick it up for and not something he needed to spend years studying.

Using the powers of his logia fruit Colton raised himself high into the sky until he was sitting on the roof of a building over looking the platform.

THANK FUCK! Kopek thought to himself. Less time to have to deal with such an annoying dick! He hated the guy and without him anywhere near him this just meant he could have time to himself to think.

Moving around the platform and beginning to circle it along the outer circle where the fence was stopping anyone from getting too close Kopek begun taking in all of the options of how anyone could get in or how he could help anyone get in so he could be the big hero stopping the kid who'd destroyed the platform.

No one really cared about the guy who stopped the kid who said he was going to do it and he wasn't wrong.

After a quick call the Naval head quarters Heartly had been informed of another Naval ship arriving and that there would be an increase in Naval services on the island. He was happy to have more support, but he would've been happier if he'd seen the guy who'd announced attacking the platform.

Either way with Kopek & Colton up there things would be sorted and there shouldn't be any problems. As a team of recruits arrived to carry off the captured pirates and the citizens to a medical facility & for those guilty of crimes prison cells Heartly made his way from the bar outside and sighed deeply.

Taking a deep breath he could smell the scent of death in the air. The only question was where it was coming from. With his eyes closed he could often find the smell easily but this time it wasn't so easy. It almost smelt as if there was more than one and he had no idea as to why.

All Heartly knew at this moment in time was that he needed to be everywhere at once. Something very well might possibly be going down.

The question plaguing his mind was what?

Retiring on a bench on the edge of the street Rekord and Tequila had to admit they weren't getting anywhere and if this was a premonition to their days as pirates then they were in for a serious shock or some serious trouble.

Neither of them had a single clue what they were doing or what to do at all! As the two sat beside one another arguing about where to head to find a Naval ship a hooded stranger sat beside them with a grin.

"Something funny mate?" Tequila asked spotting his grin.

Record turned to look and spotted the grin as well. It was puzzling and as far as these two were concerned it was at them.

"Did you know you two argue like an old married couple?"

"We do not! Tell him Rekord."

Feeling the words had an even greater impact Rekord turned to face Tequila with a expression which seemed to say "really?!" Tequila looked back a little puzzled before he realised why and stood up. Looking at the hooded man Tequila felt a little insulted and reached for his sawn off shotgun.

"I saw you guys in the bar back there before the Marines showed up. Managed to escape just before you guys too. You've been making me laugh."

"Well that wasn't our aim to make you laugh matey! But glad you enjoyed the show."

"Very much so, but I hear you two are looking to be pirates and on this island you guys have to be possibly the worst ones I've laid eyes on."

"And so far you're starting to sound like the worst creepy hooded man so cut to the chase. This isn't the part where you suddenly take the hood off and reveal to be my father or something."

"Not quite. If I was I'd have revealed myself earlier, like when you spoke about the potential sex offers from other animals. But I'm not into beastiality. But the way you two argue . . . "

Rolling his eyes Tequila's finger slipped behind the trigger to his sawn off ready to shut this guy up once and for all.

"Yea, we get it old married couple, now cut to the chase."

"You want a ship and I want help. Help me and I can get you that ship you two need so badly to start your pirate crew."

"What do we have to do first?"

"Deliver a few packages then meet me outside the Naval Head Quarters. I will help you get your hands on that all important ship of yours."

"How do we even know you'll keep your end of the deal?"

The man wearing a large hooded robe reached beneath and removed a small black bag with a gold ribbon tied around the top of it. Handing it over Tequila the bag pulsated. Pulling a face Tequila reluctantly took it and slowly begun to open the bag.

Peering in his eyes opened wide and his fingers allowed the bag to slip. The hooded man grunted in pain as the bag plummeted into the ground and Rekord picked the bag up to peer in as well. At the sight of it's contents Rekord turned away in horror.

The hooded man sat back up straight and started shouting angrily at the two.

"HEY CAREFUL YOU TWO DOLTS I NEED THAT!"

"Yea we figured, but what's it doing in a bag?!"

"You wanted insurance, there it is. My life is in your hands."

Otoko Kaen Shisui

Now perched atop a tall building, A grin had found itself plastered onto Otoko's face. The dock had come into view, And from the looks of it, Otoko could barely make out Wynter's figure on the docks.

Wasting no time, Otoko quickly descended to the ground and began jogging towards the docks, Waving his hand and calling out nonchalantly. "Oi! Wynter-Guy, Wait up!" He called out.

Just a few moments later he'd reached the docks and began to approach the young man who he'd seen back at the bar, It was at this moment that Otoko had not been regretting having photographic memory and memorizing the route from the docks to the execution platform.

"Oi, It's me, That guy back at the bar." He said, Approaching winter slowly with his hands in his pockets and leaning back slightly. And in doing so, He completely failed to realize the woman donning armor of some sort, A psychotic grin that was easily the thing of nightmares, And the giant hammer she carried.

???

Upon the mysterious man's blade coming into view, The marine opened his mouth once more to identify himself.

"I am Marine Captain Danryoku Shisui. I noticed you are carrying a hidden blade of some sort, So I must ask. Since you mentioned headquarters, Are you also affiliated with the marines?"

He asked in a deep voice, Standing upright and keeping his arms at his sides as he eyed over the man curiously. He had no idea who exactly he was waiting for, Or if he was even a marine, But if he was then that could very well be beneficial as he could use another marine's assistance in scouting out Loguetown for any criminal activity.

Kaito raised an eyebrow as he raised his head to seemingly to look up to him. "Captain hmm?" He says before falling silent for a moment before a rather wide and goofy grin appeared on his face "Looks like fate is being kind today!" He says happily before he realized he had yet to introduce himself "Ah yes! Sorry I just wasn't expecting this to be as easy as it was to find you" He says with a happy laugh. "My name is Kaito Saiyuka,Cheif Petty Officer" He says before offering his hand as he stood up. "I have orders to accompany you around for now...Sorry for the inconvenience" He says with another laugh as he rubs the back of his head.

Her eyebrows would lower slightly as he completely bypassed her and went off along his business. She took a glance to the chain, noticing it was supposed to be attached to a ship, which was now floating off and away.
He seeks to undermine Justice.
He does.
You should stop that.
I shall.
Turning around and feeling a shot Ping! off of her shoulderpads, she’d bring her hammer to bear, holding it up high toward the heavens as she looked toward him. “Oh voice, remove this villain from your corrupted soil!” She’d say in an oratory voice, before slamming her hammer down.
Perhaps you should try facing him in glorious combat. But I shall this time. The voice spoke in her head in a chiding manner.

The ground beneath Wynter would crack, cobblestone breaking apart as she tried to shoot him up into the air via a pillar of earth shooting up in front of her. Lifting the hammer back up, she’d rest  it upon her shoulder as she looked up to see what the damage was.

Re: Roger's Memory

Feeling the effects of his circulatory boost Wynter's body felt stronger, faster and ready to bring an end to these Marines in a matter of moments. With the first two bullets from a rifle shooting towards him Wynter dropped down catching himself in an almost push up position allowing bullets to soar overhead. With the two bullets crashing into a wall his duck had been successful. What he didn't account for unfortunately was the surprising weight which joined the ground.

From below a pillar of earth shot up shooting him into the heavens. Rising what would only seem higher and higher Wynter peered down to catch sight of the woman responsible and the other three soldiers. Crashing back to earth Wynter clenched his fist tightly unimpressed with the actions of the lady. Throwing himself around trying to place his feet first Wynter heard a voice shouting out towards him. He couldn't quite spot the location though.

Looking left then right he shrugged his shoulders and continued with his journey that the job required of him. His fists tightly clenched and his heart still beating wildly within his chest for this shortened period of time Wynter spotted the chimney of building ahead. Using this to give himself some form of direction he shot a foot out towards it kicking off of it launching himself towards the left more so towards the ships in a downward fashion.

As more bullets rung out through the air towards him, each missed but only by a fraction. The heat of one whizzed past his ear and another torn through his shirt sleeve on the right. But not direct hits as of yet. Fortunately. With the figure head of a ship closing in Wynter looked towards the lady with the wicked smile.

Life Return: Stomach Acid

With his mouth open wide and his body working overtime to try and increase his strength in attacks, what came from Wynter's mouth was more like a large spit ball of stomach acid. With the added force of his muscles working just a bit harder it shot straight for Mandoralla's chest & lower face. Reaching out for the figure head which was coming his way, Wynter's fingers found themselves a mouth with pointed jagged teeth.

More bullets came his way and the sudden voices of Marines became clear.

"You best get down from there right this instant!"

Hanging by his fingers Wynter cast a glance over his shoulder to see the Naval soldiers to his right. Two pointing rifles and the leading officer pointing her flintlock. With a grin Wynter agreed.

"Whatever you say."

Letting go Wynter allowed himself to drop back into the cold harbor waters which waited below.

Dropping from the figure head Wynter made sure to give himself enough of a spin so as he dropped he could see their faces of shock and awe. Checking his hand he smirked.

Life Return: Howl

With vibrations reverberating throughout his body and the air Wynter made sure to direct this sound based projectile in the direction of the three marines who when struck dropped their guns reaching for their ears. Well two the commanding officer took the shot landing a piece of lead in Wynter's left shoulder. The searing sensation burnt like hell but wasn't about to stop Wynter's next move.

Thanks to falling so close to the ship he was still able to get a kick from it and slammed his foot into the chassis sending him darting forwards.

With his hand as the distance vanished Wynter cast his hand and arm in front of himself opening it wide. Knocking the Marines on to their asses and hopefully a place near their death beds Wynter landed on his chest painfully. The blood from the bullet had started to steak down his arm staining his sleeve and he could feel his body still pumping away. He had a little more juice left.

Turning to look back at the soldiers he could see blood forming around their abdomens staining their uniforms. Each with a long jagged wooden tooth from the ship's figure head.

Grinning as he turned to face Mandoralla with a bloody shoulder and a little juice left he waited for her next move hoping for her sake it'd be a good one.

With his hatred for Wynter & Colton almost rivaling one another's Konpeki looked at Colton's location and started looking for blind spots. If he could hide in one of those blind spots maybe he could use that to his advantage and let Wynter knock the platform down. But to do that he'd need to make sure no one could stop him and the only way to stop a logia s with haki which not allot of people in this blue have which would narrow down targets to himself and that wouldn't be good.

"Lieutenant Smile?"

Hearing his name & rank mentioned out loud in a dark and booming voice the white haired monster turned to catch sight of the Captain he'd much rather prefer to the laid back Hayes. Looking at him as he approached Konpeki's grin grew slightly larger as Captain Ciguros approached with a serious expression on his face.

"Captain." Smile replied as he saluted.

"Hayes informs me that you witnessed the target making mention of burning down this platform?"

"Oh I did. All you need to know is blue waistcoat & brown hair. That alone should be more than enough. How many people wear blue waistcoats."

"I see. Any distinguishing features?"

"Freckles, young and dressed like a butler."

"Alright, I'll get my men set up in and around the perimeter. Hayes mentioned Ryker was with you?"

Rolling his eyes Smile pointed towards Colton and turned his back ready to leave the conversation where he caught a glimpse of four large cannons being wheeled into position as part of Ciguros's team.

Spotting the Captain they'd been waiting for Colton made his way down towards Konpeki. Reforming as ash from the ground up Colton stood before Ciguros hunched with a simple smile on his face.

"Ryker, good to see boy."

"You too Captain."

"You boys are going to be helping me defend this platform against some kid. I believe Heartly will be here later once he's attended to the check in of your prisoners."

"He rarely likes to leave us on our own, especially this one." Colton replied pointing to Konpeki who quickly turned back to scowl at him.

"That's fine Captain Ciguros, we'll get to work on making ourselves useful however we can."

"Good to hear! If one of you would like to take up a sniping positing I'd suggest Ryker due to his unlimited ammunition and the other which will be you of course Mr Smile would like to take up position at the search station. We need someone to be thorough and make sure my men are doing their job properly. Inform them of who to look out for and teach them the tactics that have made you such a ruthless and well known Marine soldier. But do not turn them into you. I can't handle a battalion of you Mr Smile. One is more than enough."

Nodding in response to his orders Colton shot into the sky once more in a blaze of amber before he reformed sitting on the rooftop once more this time on his feet where he would begin to patrol around the rooftops with his hands at the ready for who and whatever would be coming his way. Where as Konpeki wandered disappointingly towards the search station where he would let whoever he wanted in and whoever he didn't like he'd kick back out.

Feeling his nose still tingly with the unforgettable scent of death Captain Heartly Hayes quickly signed his signature at the bottom of the papers stating who was being turned in for their crimes and that the bounties would be split between himself, Konpeki & Colton. As he handed over the final paper he spotted another one which was assigned to him and must've been handed over with the others as it was assigned to him.

Reading down the note it stated that he was to meet a new recruit to his team b the name of Mandoralla Brae. A Lieutenant Commander armed with a large iron hammer and the powers of the Yama Yama no Mi. Grinning to himself trying to picture this young lady Heartly slicked back his hair. Maybe this lady would be someone he could woo and one day marry, maybe even have his children with.

Slipping the paper into his pockets he headed down the spiral stairs towards the reception where he could find out if this Mandoralla had checked in yet.

"Hi there, Captain Haeartly Hayes, I'm checking in to see if Lieutenant Commander Mandoralla Brae has checked in yet."

Checking through the book behind the reception desk the lady looked back up into Heartly's eyes and shook her head.

"Guess she's not here yet then."

"No it says her ship pulled in earlier today. The other marines aboard have checked in, just not Mandoralla yet." the lady said in an extra effort to hold Heartly at the reception desk before he nodded and looked towards the door.

"Guess it's time I go find her." before the lady could say anything thing further Heartly had made for the doors and was off into the town to find Mandoralla, recruit her and possibly see if she was marriage & baby momma material.

With Rekord and Tequila in shock but also eager to get their hands on a ship they found themselves standing here with a stranger agreeing to do a job neither had really expected to arise.

"So let me get this straight. You want us to do you a favor and in exchange you'll help us get a ship and to stop you from running away or killing us after you've used us, you have given us your heart!?"

"yes. Don't worry it's perfectly fine. I had a special surgery to have it removed but still connected, just make sure it doesn't come to any harm."

"You know this is really weird right?"

"What is wrong with weird?"

Both Tequila & Rekord looked at one another realizing they had no response to the stranger's words and shrugged their shoulders.

"Okay well what's this job you want us to do?"

Reaching down into a large sack on the floor the stranger fastened the top of it and offered it towards Tequila.

"These, you need to place these at specific locations throughout town." reaching into their robe the stranger produced a map of Logue town with arrows pointing to specific locations. "Here is a map. I want you to place each sack at a specific location marked on the map."

"And where are you going to be?"

"Waiting right here."

"And how do we know we can trust you on that?"

"You have my heart."

Rolling their eyes Rekord and Tequila just agreed to do the work instead of continue debating about all of the possibilities. Carrying the sack over his back Rekord lead the way whilst Tequila tied the heart in a sack on to his belt and opened up the map ready to find their way to do a lazy git's bidding.

Otoko Kaen Shisui

Seeing the scene unfold before him, The marine female donning the psychotic grin attacking Josh Wynter, The man Otoko planned on speaking with to see if he was recruiting. She was attempting to hurt him, A fellow pirate, And he had to earn the pirates trust, So what better way to do so than showing ones true colors?

Bringing his right hand up, And bringing his index and middle fingers almost together against his thumb, Leaving about 2 cm of free space, He began to focus a small bit of flame, Before shaping it into a sharp circular style with pointed edges lining it, Reminiscent of a Shuriken. After he'd managed to craft it into a good enough shape, He began causing it to spin rapidly within the space between his fingers and thumb. Donning a look of seriousness on his face at the moment, He spoke in a soft yet loud tone.

"Flame Shuriken."

He spoke out, Before gently tossing it towards the marine, Guiding it whilst it was airborne and causing it to closely pass the side of her head. Afterward, The small flame shuriken would continue its path, Before crashing into a wooden building before erupting into a small burst of flames across the wooden surface. Although a fire hadn't been started, Some civilians, And more than a few marines had now taken notice of what was going on.

"Hey, I have business with that man, And I didn't get a chance to prove myself back at the bar. So, I'll say what I wanted to."

The young man cleared his throat before speaking at a tone which both Josh and The female marine could hear him clearly.

"My name is Otoko Shisui, I'm a pirate, And a flame man. I hate the world Goverment, And I'm gonna bring it down. I'm also gonna have to deal with you if you keep attacking this man here."

He said, Momentarily pausing to glance at Josh before speaking once more.

"I'm not letting you attack someone who may want new members in his crew. I need to find a pirate crew, And no one is gonna stand in the way of that. Not even you. I don't care if you've got a big hammer, Or some shiny armor, If you wanna fight, Then fight me."

He called out softly, A bright orange glow erupting from his body as he caused a bit of his back to burst into flames, Taking a combative stance as his fingers caught fire as well, Morphing into orange hot flames.

"Now, Come. I wanna see you give it your all. If you beat me, Then at least I stood up for another pirate. I'm feeling really 'Hot Headed', So come on."

He stated in a soft tone, Remaining ready to observe the seemingly psychotic marine's next move.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Danryoku Kemono Shisui

Extending his hand and grasping the marine man's gently, Danryoku would shake the mans hand softly, Nodding as he looked at him at about an even height.

"Hmm, Odd. I'm unsure as to why headquarters would have sent you to accompany me. But I could certainly use your assistance. Come with me, We are going to look for and attempt to stop criminal activity. And we will scout this Island for any criminals or pirates, Some will make a ruckus and draw us towards them, Others will try blending in. Be vigilant."

Danryoku would speak softly, Still gently grasping the Chief petty officers hand with his own.

Kaito's grin grew even wider as he shook the younger mans hand,it was a first for him not hearing any complaints about having him around,a change he gladly welcomed. "Honestly I bet its more about me then you.." He says with a sigh most likely thinking they had stuck him with this captain because no one else wanted to work with him before he straightened up quickly changing the subject."I head something about a bar fight of some sort earlier, even if the marines got involved and split it up I'm sure more then a few criminals managed to sneak away." He says before pointing in the general direction of where he suspected the bar would of been. "It could be a good place to start if any.."

Re: Roger's Memory

Watching impassively as he fell all the way back to the ground. She THOUGHT about smashing against his side when he fell, but she assumed his legs would be broken upon impact. Apparently they weren’t, he didn’t seem all that impressed with her actions either. Really, she was just thinking of adding a name to that move, using it first to try it out. Evidently it’ll need to just be a disruptor thing.
Focus.
Sorry, O’ Great One.

By the time she returned her thoughts to the battle, she found the man jumping off toward the ship. Suddenly, some heat passed by her face as she saw Wynter open her mouth. Apparently there was an enemy behind her. Allowing the flame to singe her hair slightly, she then rolled to the side as Wynter spat some strange goo toward her, allowing it to travel toward those behind her.

Hearing some yapping behind her, she’d wrinkle her nose.
He talks too much.
Yes.” She agreed, thumping the bottom of her hammer against the floor.
Of course. It spoke, before the ground would rise up in the entrance to the alleyway Otoko was standing in, effectively blocking him from view, at least temporarily. It would be around five meters high.

She’d then return her attention to the pirate on the ship, now having defeated the Marines on board. “You seek to flee?” She’d ask, walking forward before tapping her hammer against the ground once more.
He won’t get far.

There would be a rumbling, before she attempted to raise the seafloor beneath him, trying to entrap the ship with earth to its left, right and back. She’d leave the front slightly raised but otherwise viewable. She’d then raise the earth beneath her to avoid the obvious wave of water that was coming due to it.

Well then!” She’d call out, panting slightly with the exertion. “Let us begin, villain!” She’d then run toward him, the floor raising up as she ran to clear a path toward the ship. Like a juggernaught of justice, she’d plow forth. Jumping up, she’d aim to slam the hammer down toward his head. “Judication CRUSH!
