The Bear meets the Wolf,the Hellish Meeting of East Blue! [Thread ended]

Annie groaned slightly as she stepped onto the dock,the sky above her was filled with black clouds that seemed ready to dump their rain on the village she had just arrived at. Deciding it would be best to seek shelter from the oncoming storm she tied the small dingy she had stolen from anther village to the dock before making her way into the town. It seemed like everyone else had taken shelter from the storm already as the streets were empty of any other soul besides her. Just as her goal came in sight,a small run down inn,the long awaited rain finally started to pour down in sheets as the wind started to howl around her with such force that when she started to open the door of the inn it was forced from her grasp to bang against the wall making a loud bang echo and many people turn and look toward her as lightening starts to flash behind her. Annie simply ignored them all as she closes the door behind her as the windows shock from the force of the storm,and made her way silently towards the counter. She could feel many pairs of eyes staring at her,but you would stare too if you saw a person wearing a bright pink bear suit walk into an inn in the middle of a storm. Annie took a seat at the bar counter and waves to the bartender bring him out of his surprised shock. "Hey there sweetie,can I get a Seaside Toddy?" She says ordering a warm whiskey drink feeling like it was called for with the storm outside.

Meanwhile at the docks.
The waves where crashing towards the small dock on the small island. if the storm increased all ships and the dock itself would be torn to pieces. but suddenly the wawes calmed down. a big marine ship was about to dock and the size of the ship was blocking the incoming waves.
Dropping anchor just at the mouth of the bay a long guy dressed in ice blue steriotypical pirate cloths. jumped from the bowsprit and onto dry land.


The man was out of the ordinary. the rain poaring down on him didn't mind him at all. as a matter of fact the water drops turned into ice when the came in contact with the mans bare skin. Andrè Duval was angry which was why this happend. sometimes when he felt something very grand he had trouble keeping his powers 100% i check. wasting no time on the docks nor the rest of the town he walked straight into an inn to get a stiff drink.


when he came into the inn he walked straight up to the bar counter sat down and put his feet up on the counter. leaning towards a joist. UN Ice cold coffie !! he said. slamming his fist into the counter.

Annie was forced to pick up her drink as the counter shook under the force of the mans fist. She took a swig from her glass,only to have a shiver go down her spine at the taste,the drink wasn't sweet enough for her. as the bartender was busy serving the newcomer his cold coffee,something Annie noted as strange wanting a cold drink in this weather but hey she wasn't about to say anything. 

Reaching into her bag she pulled out her jar of honey,her personal stash. Unscrewing the lid she was going to pour some into the drink when she heard the bartender speak up "Sorry love but if you want it sweeter you'll have to pay extra...No outside food or drink allowed" He says pointing towards the sign behind him. Annie froze the bright pink paw of her suit still holding the open jar over the drink ready to pour it. "Thats a stupid rule...I don't like stupid rules.."

After getting his cold ice coffie he noticed a girl sitting a few seats away from him also getting served a drink. he noticed her discust over the drink and saw her reaching for something in her bag. it was a jar with a golden liquid inside. Most Probably honey. Andrè took no further notice of the girl. but not for long as the bartender commented on her having the jar. And the reply from the girl made her 10 times more interesting.

That's a stupid rule... I don't like stupid rules. the girl said. and the cold undertone of that sentence made Andrè keeping one eye on her while this all happend. He had a feeling something was going to happend if the bartender insited on that jar being removed. it would be fun to watch. and with that Andrè started to wonder on what that girl could do too the bartender if he kept going. but he wouldn't need to wonder for long as he could see the bartender reaching for the jar while saying if you don't pay I would have to take that jar from you young girl this was going to be fun to watch Andrè thought now keeping both eyes on the senario.

Annie's other paw shoot out and grabbed the bartenders hand "I wouldn't try doing that if I were you...You might not come out in one piece if you do~" Her voice was cold as the wind that blew outside but she still seemed to have a bit of laughter in her voice. Behind her Annie could hear a few chairs scrap loudly against the floor as patrons stood up,may of whom were friends of the old bartender and hadn't taken kindly of the girls threat. Annie sighs the bear head she wore tilting downwards and shook from side to side as she shook her head. 

Suddenly she tossed the jar full of honey up into the air many eyes following it for a few moments before they heard an scream only to see the old bartender flying towards them when looking back in Annie's direction. Annie figured she could use the old man to knock some of the others down and that way she could take out the few others left over while they came to there senses and got up. "All I wanted was a god damn drink,don't you think that's not too much for a girl to ask for?" She asks them all in the same cold voice as before. She took a moment to catch the jar of honey inches before it shattered on the bar,before she started to move towards the few opponents,other people who hadn't wanted to get in on the fight quickly backed up scooting not only their chairs but tables out of the way as Annie grew closer.

Andrè watched as the girl threw the old bartender from behind the counter and all the way to the other end of the bar. it was an fun site to watch. people screamed as the bartender came flying towards them. some had reacted fast enought to get out of the way. others where not that lucky and got the bartenders as well as a table on top of them. The sound of cracking ribs was like music to Andrè's ears.

As the girl started to move closer to the other side of the bar towards the other people there. Andrè stood up and started a slow clap while saying brava. se magnifique. what a great show of strength. Allow me to get you the drink you deserve. and before the girl could do anything Andrè walked over to the bartender. lifted him up and carried him over to the counter again. there he covered his palm in ice, carefull to have his back in the way. no need to show my powers yet Andrè thought to himself as he slapped the bartender awake with his cold hand.


The bartender got up very quickly and was about to yell somthing towards the girl. but before he got the chance Andrè grabbed his throat and whispered into his ear. you are going to make a good drink for that girl. one that tastes sweet. at no extra cost. do this and I wil no kill you. Comprende? The bartender just nodded. TRE BIEN. free drinks for all. on me.

Before Annie could move to take her frustration her attention was stolen by the sound of clapping. Turning she saw it was the newcomer who seemed to be impressed by her strength. She was surprised when he offered to get the drink so much so that she only watched as he picked up the Bartender and spoke quietly to him at the bar. Annie sort of confused at why he was doing something like this...

But her train of thought was broken at hearing him speck again. Once again Annie was shocked not only had he gotten her drink but free drinks for everyone in the bar. Annie made her way back to her seat only to have a new drink be placed in front of her. She picks up the glass and took a swig from it the sweet taste of honey and the warm of the whiskey filled her mouth and seemed to make her relax. Placing her glass down she spoke "Much better" She says before turning towards the stranger. "It is good to see that some people can still be gentlemen"

A gentleman. him? Andrè chuckled a little at this. I got a feeling when the bartender reached for your jar that something interesting was going to happend. and I just wanted to give you cred for your preformance. and with that Andrè emptied his coffee and demanded a new round.

all around the bar people where having a good time as the time passed. getting refills each time they wanted people where starting to get kind of noisy. but this didn't matter to Andrè. all he was thinking about was how to get this girl to join his crew. she semed like a worthy aspirant. such strength would come in handy in a pinch

so mademoiselle. what brings you to these waters? he asked the girl.

Annie removed her bear head before she spoke,making a few of the men stare,even with the dark circles her eyes sparkled brightly like she could see some hidden wonder that no one else could see. She wore a smile on her lips reveling her pearly white but incredibly sharp teeth. She spoke as she brushed a strand of her blood red hair from her eyes. "Well,I've recently parted ways with a friend so I've been kind of drifting around...you never know where adventure can pop up" She says before ordering another drink and realized she hadn't introduced herself. "Ah forgive me,it seems I haven't introduced myself,my names Annabelle but I very much insist you call me Annie"She says as she sips on her new drink smiling at the continued sweetness of it.Once she set it back down she spoke again "What about you? You looking for adventure...or maybe something not so simple as that.." She says as her grin grew,she was always a curious one when it came to other travelers.

Nice to meet your mademoiselle Annie. The name is Andrè Duval. but around these waters I am know as The frost wolf. Captain of the Frost pirates. and my goal is to rid this world of the people who go under the name of The marines. And I wil do so with a mighty pirate crew. stronger than anyone has ever seen. And this is where you come in miss Annie. after that wonderfull display of power I found you interesting enought to be asked to join my crew. so what do you say Miss. care to lend me your strenght in pursuit of our goals?

when he had finished his speach he had gotten up with on leg on the nearest table looking like he was standing at the bow of the ship. It was a wonderfull speach he thought. one he had practiced. it was full of clichets just as he liked it. there was no way this girl would say no to this.

Annie listened to Andrè's speech and couldn't help but chuckle at the clichés in it. Once it was done Annie took a moment to think weighing her options before she opened her mouth to speak. But her words were lost over the howling of wind that entered the building as the door was opened. As if fate itself had brought them a group of about ten marines walked in the door dripping wet from the rain but were loudly laughing as they came in excited at the thoughts of hot drinks after being in the storm. 

Their leader was a large man with a bushy black beard and a large hairy beer belly that stuck out from his unbuttoned shirt. Noticing how quiet it had gotten he looks around before noticing Annie. His eyes turn into hearts before he makes his way over to her and leans on the bar. "Whats a girl like you doing in a place like this?" He says with a grin,meanwhile Annie leans away in disgust.

Andrè watched as the marines entered the bar. there where ten of them. nothing he couldn't handle. Sacre bleu. why did these people have to come in here right now. not that it matters. this is quite good actually. now I can show of my powers. Andrè thought to himself. taking his foot slowly down from the table. he grabbed for one of the cutlasses he had strapped to his hips. one of the marines noticed and drew his own cutlass.

Sir I would like you to put that cutlass away right now if you don't want to be arrested.  the marine said coming towards Andrè with the cutlass infront of him. without hessitation he dashed forward. jabbing the cutlass through the marines stomach. after he retracted it the marine went down on his knees holding the wound. Andrè then took hold of the mans throat and lifting him up from the floor. blood was dripping from the wound in his stomach. and the fright in the mans eyes was clear. then out of no where Andrè put his hand and parts of his arm into the wound in the stomach. you are lucky. I have wanted to try out a new move. Andrè said with an evil grin on his face.

With the hand inside the stomach he gathered his ice powers. Boule de glace and with that he created a ball of ice. since no one could see it inside the stomach he pushed some more and SPIKE out from the stomach back and sides of the marines came out big icicles which originated from the ball inside his body. Leaving the ball inside Andrè took out his hand and just before dropping the marine to the floor he whiped his hand on the marines cloths. Turning against the others he said Now who is next? and there was a evil look in his eyes. The frost wolf was now on the hunt.

Annie watched this all happen,a shiver going down her spine at the sight and smell of the mans blood as it dripped to the the floor. The copper smell that filled the air because of it seemed to awaken something deep inside her. The leader seeing her shiver thought it was in fear and assured her he would protect her. When he turned away and pulled out his own sword. Andrè seemed busy fighting a few of the other marines,if this man wanted to he might be able to sneak up from behind. 

Before he got too far though he suddenly felt the soft plush of Annie's bear suit wrap around his chest. "Who ever said I was the one who needed protection? Shihehehe~" Annie whispers in his ear laughing in glee before the mans screams were heard as she unsheathed the steel claws she has and started digging them into the mans chest and shoulder. But before she could dig them too deep she was forced to jump back as the mans came at her nearly cutting into her.But she didn't get away without her suit taking some damage. The sound of ripping filled the air as the tip of his sharp blade cut into the arm of her suit the steel underneath it was the only thing stopping it from ripping into her arm as well. Another Marine seeing the two starting to fight yelled over "Sir be careful thats Annabelle "Teddy Bear" Khananshivili,she has committed heinous and inhuman crimes all across West and East Blue! She has earned a bounty over 29,000,000!" Annie growled loudly at hearing her full name spoken her consent grin disappearing from her looking frighting on the normally gleeful girl. Her eyes had gone from bright and sparkling to dull and cold with anger. "Looks like I will be having an unplanned dinner tonight.." She mutters as she picks up her bear head placing it back on before she charges at the leader,shouting at Andrè as she does. "Andrè! Leave that other one for me will you? Its not fair if you get them all to yourself!"

While Andrè started working on the rest of the 8 marines. Simpler than the first. He noticed how the girl unsleathed a pair of razor sharp claws from the bear outfit she was walking around in tried to gutt the marine leader. And from one of the other marines Andrè learned the true identity of the girl. She was the notorious Teddy Bear. with a solid bounty on her head He understood why she was so strong and all that.

Annie then yelled to Andrè about leaving one some of the marines for her as it would be unfair for him to have all the fun. and he could agree to that. so after taking down 6 of the 8 remaining marines. the last one getting a few frotsbites on his face before he was pierced on Andrè's cutlass. Then he dashed past the rest of the marines and while standing in the doorway he yelled. au revoir for now
Mademoiselle Annie. I hope we meet again. if you want to join my crew meet me in LogueTown in 4 weeks time. I will we waiting for you there. and then he took a bow while taking of his tricord and then he headed straight for his ship.

Annie sped forwards slamming her claws and fist deep into the leaders stomach before she heard Andre's words. She shouted a farewell she doubted he would hear over the winds. She smiles under her bear head as steps away dragging the claws she had inside his stomach watching as her claws cut through his skin like paper. She pulled her claws away and wiped them on the mans coat as he fell to his knees. 

She then turns slowly to look at the last remaining marine. It didn't take her long to take him out a quick punch to his face and she had him knocked out. Deciding it would be best to find someplace else to sit out the storm she picks up the unconscious body of the marine. After all now with her dinner for the night she had to think over if she was going to LogueTown or not.
