Sitting up from a pile of Hay that the young man had been using as a makeshift bed, Coyote woke from his slumber holding his head and groaning. He was hungover , tired and most importantly had no idea how he had ended up where he found himslef. Groggily picking himself up out of the hay and crawling on his hands and knees before realising he was joined by a number of farm aninmals. Filthy, covered in own faeces pigs.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhh" groaned Coyote as he rested his back against one of the barns walls, reaching into his pocket he felt around and managed a smile as he felt the familiar shape of his cigarette packet and lighter. Placing the smoke in his mouth and igniting it Coyote let out a sigh of relief as the nicotine helped soothe his pounding head, as his sight directed down towards the pig that glared straight back at him with a judgemental look as if to question why he'd smoke inside a barn which was easily flammable.

"Hey. I'm Hungove-"

Before the Pirate could finish his statement he relaised he was talking to a pig...A PIG. He really was hungover. After a short cigarette interval Coyote clambered out of his temporary residence and collapsed onto the grass and laid on his back and stared at the blue sky and sun it was refreshing, after a few moments of careful reflection the young mans attention drifted to the flower beside him, a dandylion a sole dandylion standing valiant as ever.

The Pirate smirked and could helpn a smile he had always had an affinity for nature, beside the flower Coyote noticed the pair of feet standing opposite him and looked up.

Serious ; Coyote's Bad Day Empty Re: Serious ; Coyote's Bad Day

Post by Fin~ Sun Feb 09, 2014 8:23 am

It was nice and sunny outside as Brenda went out for a fun stroll in the morning. Happily she was skipping through town nibbling on a lollypop while semi humming a tune that was a little off running a long the local farm she decided to go and pet some animals. She loved going to play with animals and avoiding other humans as much as possible in the process

As she jumped over a fence she landed next to a pig and patted it. After a while she noticed a somewhat strange pig. He was talking. Well apperently it wasn't a pig and it was a human. He was mumbling a few things and brenda giggled a little and looked at the man rolling around talking to a pig after a while she was noticed and the man lifelessy stared at her feet. She took her lollypop out of her mouth and tilted her head and said "hello there" she said happily as she put the lollypop back in.

She grabbed one from her pocket. Still in paper and looked at the man " want one too?" She said throwing the lollypop at the man. Brenda was quite casually dressed. The only things off were a big backpack and her shovel. She continued staring at the man wondering if he was okay. If he wasn't she could use the poke treatment it always seemed to work.

Serious ; Coyote's Bad Day Empty Re: Serious ; Coyote's Bad Day

Post by Guest Sun Feb 09, 2014 8:37 am

Groaning even more so as he realised the person standing before him was a child, Coyote wasn't a child person pinching the bridge of his nose Coyote shifted his attention towards her she seemed rather harmless but one of those really annoying types of children. Good Intentions but annoying as hell, sitting himself upwards he smiled towards her .

"Thank You but I have my own" muttered the pirate groggily as he puffed more fumes out of his mouth and motioned towards the cigarette that rested inbetween his index and middle . It was quite obvious his sentiment was rejected as she tossed him another lollipop that hit the chain smoker square in the forehead causing the pirate to crumple down into a heap on the floor.

With his cheek resting against the surface of the grass, the pirate sighed today certainly wasn;t his day. Finally picking himself up and brushing himself down attempting to make himself appear just a little more respectable than before he was still pale but the fresh air was helping to slowly sober him up. Now that he was on his feet the 5'11 frame of Coyote tried to takea 360 view of his surroundings to ascertain where he was.

So far he knew it was an island, turning to the girl who was still eating her lolipop. "Know anywhere to eat here Kid?"

Brenda smiled and was kinda happy about the fact that she was kind enough to give him a lollypop, although he had refused she had thrown it to him before realising he didn't want it, she turned a little red and stepped a step back as well as taking a deep breathe. '' I am sorry, I didn't intend to hit you'' she said as she looked around her carefully.

Quite quickly her atention drifted to somewhere else, if not everywhere else. quickly she realised that she was on a farm, and saw the pigs around her, forgetting that she was talking she ran over to one of the pigs to pat it on the back, and started talking to it. she had no idea she was being inpolite or rude. just the fact that there was an animal close made her want to pat it.

A little later she realised that the man stood up, and talked to her, he asked if she knew a good place to eat, tapping her chin she nodded happily and smiled '' Yes yes I do, There is this little bar where a man with a strange moustache makes good food, I love his ommeletes '' she said smiling dreaming away in the flavours of the good food, she shook her head to maintain in reality and looked at the man infront of her.

'' Do you want me to bring you there, the town is kind of a maze, took me a month to find out the way here, I've only been here three weeks though, but I think we won't get lost. oh and don't tell the man that he has a strange moustache he doesn't ;ike that, by the way I am brenda'' She said all in one breathe, Brenda would act all happy go lucky when she didn't want anyone to know about what kept her thoughts busy, which was like always.

Serious ; Coyote's Bad Day Empty Re: Serious ; Coyote's Bad Day

Post by Guest Sun Feb 09, 2014 9:09 pm

Rubbing hisforehead to ease the pounding pain radiating from it, Coyote waved off her aplogy with his hand "It's fine didn't do any harm".

It had finally dawned on the brown haired man that this was not a petting farm, nor was it open to the public, as his eyes wandered to the large metal sign that had the words

"NO TRESSPASSING, ALL TRESSPASSERS WILL BE SHOT"

After reading the sign it was already too late as he heard the unmistakeable sound of a cocking a shotgun diverting his attention almost immediately towards the bald headed man who was wearing dungarees and a plait shirt.

As the man went to aim Coyote was wondering why the man was aiming so far towards his right before it dawned on him that he wasn't his target.

Glancing at Brenda Coyote managed a lunge finished with a forceful push , shoving Brenda to the floor before the farmer finally pulled the trigger.

The gun was thankfully single fire and thus a single bullet that ripped through Coyote's shin and with it a great howl of pain as the pirate fell to the floor.

"I DUN TOLD YA ALREADY. NO TRESSPASSERS READ THE SIGN"
As the farmer reloaded and aimed for Brenda.

Post by Fin~ Sun Feb 09, 2014 11:44 pm

Brenda was not really paying much atention, well not many atention at all, the pigs were more interesting and then suddenly she was pushed to the ground by the men that she had just met, only then she realised a gun was fired at her she heard a scream, and saw that the man that saved her was shot, she was suprised, and scared and angry.

Suprised that the stupid baldie wouldn't let her come to see the animals, scared about the gun, and angry that the man who saved her was shot by the mean baldie. He was reloading his gun, and was about to shoot again, he was yelling at her. and planned to kill her, but not on her watch,

after getting on her knees she grabbed blue from her back and lunged it towards the man, '' go blu'' she said as out of her spade a bear jumped, and with a fierce growl, with bot paws, with claws as sharp as metal or even sharper, lunged at the man, one at his  face, the other at his gun, quickly reverting him back to a shovel she stood up and stood infront of the man that had saved her. '' You have no right, to attack people when there are such cute pigs in here'' brenda said with an angry face looking at the stupid baldie farmer. She felt sorry for coyote, and was going to protect him no mather what.

Serious ; Coyote's Bad Day Empty Re: Serious ; Coyote's Bad Day

Post by Guest Sun Feb 09, 2014 11:57 pm

Grasping his ankle Coyote was surprised and almost awestruck at the large bear popping out of a shovel that Brenda owned."Whaaaaaaat?" said the Captain aloud as he applied pressure to his shin to stem the bleeding. Placing his palm over the blade and grimacing slightly as his devil fruit drew out the bullet from his shin.

Upon sight of the large bear emerging from the Shovel the Bald Farmer who simply went by Jenkins or Crazy Coot Jenkins smiled as he saw the large game emerge before him as he cocked his shotgun once more, it was apparent he didn't quite realise the danger of the situation however he did soon as the bear who appeared to be named Blu struck out its claws cutting the barrel of the gun in half and completely unarming the elderly farmer. With an almost ghostly look on his face the Farmer high tailed away from the large bear back to his residence.

"Don't go after him not worth it. " Muttered Coyote to himself as he cautiously made it back onto his feet, the wound hurt alot but it wasnt life threatening and he still had the ability to walk albeit gingerly, the inventor was no doctor but he could tell from the level of pain he had gotten off rather lucky. Hobbling over to the wooden fencing that lined the perimeter of the farm the Captain took a deep breath before turnign to face Brenda.

"So about that food, Also I'm Coyote" remarked the man as he extended his hand to the child.

Post by Fin~ Mon Feb 10, 2014 12:44 am

As brenda saw the man fleeing after seeing his gun broken she sighed of relievement, she was not someone who liked to fight, nor was she someone who wanted to hurt others, but well protecting yourself was important, and it had to happen, people pointed guns at others way to fast, and people were way to mean in general, not something Brenda liked.

She then looked at the guy who had saved her, and who she kind of had brought into trouble, she itched her head and said '' I am sorry for the trouble and your leg, is it okay, I got some bandages in my bag if its needed.'' She said as the man got to a fence.

She walked over to him, and he told her he was called coyote, that was a strange name, one of an animal but she wouldn't say something about it. '' My name is brenda, and I will bring you, and treat you because you saved me'' she said smiling, and then she looked at his leg, '' can you walk? or do you need a hand, or more likely a bear. we can ride blue, but should stop close out of town, not everyone likes bears'' she said with a kinda sad and suprised tone. as she hold up the shovel and signalled for blue to come out, a big brown bear towered over her, and she patted him and climbed on him. '' get on'' she said

"Bandages will help" said Coyote as he wrapped the medical dressings around his shin before finishing it neatly with a bow to add pressure onto the wound. "Treatment isn't needed, nor is your bear I can walk just fine" mumbled Coyote as he hobbled on his one good leg he was a proud man he didn't like taking help from others even if it was desperately needed. The brief moments of action had near enough cured his aching hangover or more likely the adrenaline coursing through his veins had.

As he started to walk he immediately felt the benefit of the bandage tied firmly around his leg, it was easier to walk and the pain wasn't as severe as it had been before. Coyote placed another cigarette in his mouth and lit it before turning back to Brenda before realising it probably wasn;t the best healthcare decision to offer a minor a cigarette, tucking the packet backing into the inner pocket of his blazer before unhooking his hood from his head as he brushed his messy hair with his hand, getting a whiff of himself Coyote realied just how bad he smelt...god he needed a shower.

He was surprised that Brenda wasn't disgusted by his body odour, a night in a barn with a handful of pigs wasn't the best fragrance for a man . " We going or what?"

After helping Coyote with his leg and bandaging his leg he said that he didn't need her help, she wondered why he didn't want to, why wouldn't someone want to ride a bear and why wouldn't he accept help, was something wrong with him appart from the leg. and the bad smell she had been trying to say nothing about. she had been trying to stay polite and was doing well so far.

Coyote just asked if they could go as he refused to take a lift on the bear, '' okay I will walk too, or I'll be faster'' she said as she referted blu into the shovel and landed on her feet '' Let's go, do you like ommelettes or do you prefer toasties'' she asked wondering about it

Post by Guest Tue Feb 18, 2014 4:32 am

"Honestly, I dont care as long as it's edible" remarked Coyote as he hobbled on his one good leg, a stinging pain shot up the lower half of his left leg with every step he took. He'd been shot before occasionally whilst serving under the marines and that had hurt but not nearly as much as this time. Maybe it was due to the gun or the calibre of bullet that had pierced his flesh, Coyote wasn't all too sure to be totally honest.

Looking at Brenda, Coyote realised just how young she was he was surprised that she was on her own. It wasn't uncommon for youngsters to be going out on their own for their adventure because of what Roger had said decades ago but with what he had ascertained from Brenda as of yet he wondered what she was doing and if she really could survive on her own especially at her age....then again she did have a bear. A Big Bear.

"So how exactly did you get that thing"
pointed Coyote as he aimed his finger towards Blu.

'' I got blu, from my dad, who was the grave keeper of our town, where loads of important people were burried, but the marines gave up on us, so well im left over '' she said looking down to her feet, she was quite open and young so she didn't really understand that it might be a bit personal.

she looked around and after a little they arived at the pub, she reverted blu to a spade and put it on her back. '' lets go in'' she said as she entered the place '' hello mister that I promised to not make remarks about his beard'' she said jumping up getting an angry glare towards her, '' i am sorry, i forgot, can i have a toastie and orange juice, and maybe a toastie for this man and something to drink I will pay for us both'' she said smiling, and grabbing some coins, as she pointed to a table and some seats to sit down with him.

"Marines huh? I used to be one of those, until about two weeks ago. Technically I'm AWOL" remarked Coyote as he lit his cigarette before tapping some of the residue onto the floor with his index finger.

As they sat down, Coyote leant back against the back of his chair and swung slightly it was nice to sit outside with the wind it was cool, refreshing. Noticing the rather angry look on themans face Coyote smiled before grabbing the mans arm.

"No Alchohol. I'm in a fragile state of mind as it is"

The Pub itself had a rather medieval look about it, the establishment was more of a tavern than a modern day pub with the name of the pub on a wooden sign that looked like a thinly cut stump off a tree which hung from the wall by a chain, with the words "The Old Inn" engraved onto the wood in an old english font.

Post by Fin~ Fri Feb 21, 2014 12:36 am

In just a few minutes their food arived, two ham and cheese toasties with some tomato sauce, a glass of orange juice for Brenda, and a cup of coffee for Coyote. '' Thank you sir '' Brenda said as she put some coins on the table, which the man gladly accepted, she decided to stop making remarks about the mans beard as it will only get him angrier.

Brenda sipped some of her orange juice as she looked to coyote, who was swinging a little on his chair, she stared at him and asked '' May I ask why you stopped as a marine, and what were you doing in the pig barn, did you drink a lot? '' she asked him happily as she dipped her toastie in the tomato sauce that she had gotten with it and took a bite, '' hot hot hot'' she yelled as she quickly followed up with some orange juice. '' why do I always keep forgetting melted cheese is hot?' she asked coyote, as she inpatiently waited for the toasty to cool a little.

She had a lot of questions, and wanted to ask them all. but was it smart, should she ask a lot of questions, or should she just sit and wait for the man to talk. she decided to try and be polite. For once

Post by Guest Mon Feb 24, 2014 3:46 am

"I have a problem with authority, got sick of being told what to do so now I'm a Pirate well at least in my Grandfathers eyes at least" said Coyote inbetween sips of his coffee. Casting his mind back, to the night before Coyote wasn't all too sure how he had ended up there in fact he wasn't even sure that he'd been drinking, he rarely drunk alchohol; in fact he hated the stuff so how had he ended up in the barn with all the effects and symptoms associated with the hangover?

As is brain began to spiral thinking up possible hypothesis' and possible solutions and conclusions he was snapped back into reality as Brenda gnashed her way through her snack failing to realising that it had just been cooked. Looking up and around at his surroundings , the establishment seemed...familiar. Leaning in close to Brenda as to whisper into her ear so that nobody else could hear he paid careful attention to the barman whom he was sure he could recall from the night before.

"...Somethings not right, I remember this place...these are bad peopl-" stopping mid-sentence to smack the sandwich out of Brenda's hands as his marine training had taught him to do, for fear that the food and drink might be poisoned. Looking over to where the barman once stood and noticing he was no longer there . Coyote felt a thud hit him in the temples as he fell to the floor , his vision began to blur as he faded out of consciousness.

Coyote was explaining about himself, and why he stopped being a marine, slowly he was lost in thoughts and brenda knew he had been through a lot, brenda happily continued eating and drinking, until coyote acted strange, he told her to stop eating, and told her that it was poisoned while the barman was a bad person.

Her toastie was smacked out of her hand, and before coyote lost conciousness she tried to grasp for blu who was leaning against her chair, but it was too late, face first she hit the ground, drenched in her juice, only blu was concious. and ready to protect brenda. growing into his full bearform he smashed the table away with his claws.

Grinning before running his fingers through his finely combed moustache the barman's smile quickly faded to his disgruntled standard expression. "Grab the Tranquiliser Darts" whispered the man into one of his staff's ear as he folded his arms and stared at the bear as it began to destroy the surrounding environment with his paws and monstrous strength. Many of the customers begun to flee out of the restaurant as tables and chairs were hurled around, whilst the employees tried to evade and stall the beast for long enough untilb the tranquilisers arrived.

Returning shortly after with tranquiliser darts the young man doused in tatoos coruched down as he peered trhough the scope and pulled the trigger releasing teh dart that pierced through Blu's Hind Leg and released the drug causing the mammoth sized bear to collapse down in a heap unconcscious.

----

Groggy Coyote awoke and looked up to the sky as he found himself tied to a pole both his wrists rendering him useless with his arms and his ankles were left free as his body was slowly suffocating from t he pressure, looking over towards the right hand side he found Brenda who also found herself in the same predicament as the pirate. Looking in front of him he saw the moustache wearing man who had incapicitated the two earlier.

"Why are you doing this ?" wondered Coyote as he desperately tried to wriggle free.

"Because You're Bastard Grandfather killed 10 of my men!" roared the man back in response.

"You do realise my Grandfather hates me just as much as you right bout now...let the girl go she's just a kid she isn't involved"

Finding herself woken up against a pole, brenda panicked and looked around, she saw coyote and a man that had captured them, there was no sign of blu, and she had never seen this room before.

after a few secconds she heard a conversation going on between coyote and the man, she didn't get all of it as she had no idea what was up. as the man was focussing on cotoye and coyote was trying to get Brenda out, she spend her time trying to undo the knots. they weren't as though as expected and tried to find eye contact with coyote to find a moment to act.

Noticing through the corner of his eye Brenda wiggling, Cole Redmond or as he was more locally known the guy with the moustache saw red as he guided a knee into the gut of a defencless Brenda. Wriggling frantically , Coyote shot Cole a stern look as he staared at him before snapping Brenda in the jaw once again. Standing on a stool Cole readjusted Brendas straps tighter this time, noticing this Coyote realised now was probably the best opportunity to strike whilst he was preoccupied. Raising his knees in towards his chest the pirate began to swing before releasing his legs in an explosive action kicking Cole off the stool into the wall as he crashed through a plywood table. Frantically Coyote began to loosen the knots which had become even less slack due to the added weight of swinging.

After a couple of moments of squirming and wriggling the Captain found himself freed looking over towards Cole who lay there groggy and dazed his vision hazy. Standing up on the stool Coyote untied Brenda before lifting her down to the floor gently.

"You alright?" Asked Coyote as he heard the sound of footsteps quickly approaching.

Brenda was not a happy wiggler, she tried to escape but got punished by some heavy punches and kicks, her face filled with blood, and probably a broken nose, brenda was one dizzy girl. looking around how the man slowly dissapeared and no more punches hit her she rested her head back against the pole.

the man was being strangled by coyote and a few minutes later she was saved by coyote '' I am okay a bit dizzy'' she said with her swollen lip as she looked around when she was helped up.

'' are there more people here'' she whispered as she struggled to stand looking around for her spade, ''blu'' she mumbled knowing she couldn't do much without him,

Approaching the door came a collection of foot soldiers most likely Cole Redmond's Men, dropping to one knee with a total of five rifles pointed at the pair. Coyote smirked as he raised his hands into the air, and looked at Brenda with a nod.

Surprised by the reaction from the two pirates, the men shuffled their feet before looking to each other and whispering. At that split second Coyote took his opportunity to strike as he ripped the rifles from their hands and thrusted all five butts of the rifles into the soldiers jaws, incapacitating the majority whilst a few others went groggy.

"Better make a move before he wakes up, we gotta find that spade of yours don't we."

Remarked Coyote as he looked towards Cole who was slowly making his way to his feet in a slow manner whilst shaking his head trying to get the rining sound out of his ears.

Brenda was quite scared, especially when 5 armed people entered the room, and after bullet shots were heard, brenda thought it be the end, but it ended in those 5 people all laying down on the ground bloody and yelling. that was good.

She was still ocupied with her blurry vision and bloodied lips and nose as she tried to stand after being beaten badly. coyote remarked that they should go find her spade, and it be good to have blu back indeed, Brenda looked around as she suddenly saw cole about to get up and run away. In a sudden plan she jumped on him, hoping to tackle him to the ground '' don't think we should let him get more reinforcements'' she said as she tried to hold the man.

Sighing, Coyote walked over to Cole who had since been tackled to the floor by Brenda. Yanking him by the hair so his head tilted upwards the pirate delivered a swift but stern right hand to the man's jaw knocking him out cold. "C'mon we don't have time for this" remarked Coyote as he felt the numbness swell through his hand after the punch shaking it slightly to restore feeling the Captain lead Brenda out of the room as they searched for the bear. As they exited the room Coyote looked around the industrial like surrounding with pipes over head and a number of gauges and dials and generators attached to the walls.

One thing Coyote immediately picked up on was the hotness of the area as he wiped away a bead of sweat as it emerged and trickled down his face. Looking left to right, Coyote outstretched his palm using his devil fruit powers hoping that the rays would attract Blu. After a few minutes of trying Coyote conceded defeat anad realised that Blu wasn't near. Passing a window the pirate quickly popped back and looked through as he saw blue, a lot of blue...and fishes. Turning around to look at Brenda with an arched eyebrow the Captain swallowed

As the two continued their journey to find brenda her only friend and weapon Blu, they came acros some rooms, temprature was different at someplaces then others, and brenda wondered if blu was anywhere around here. she hoped he was, she chuckled a bit hoping her bear was okay.

When coyote passed a window he realised they were on a submarine, '' a submarine??'' brenda asked raising a brow, suprised, scared and a bit excited she looked through the window to see many fishes, she heard about ships sailing underwater, but never even saw one or was in one, this was exciting and fun but, what would happen here would they get out. where were they, where was blu? she got a bit scared but tried to hide it '' are we going to get out, do you know where we are. where is the island we were on'' many questions in just one breathe of air. she tried to stay cool, collected even but it was so hard, who could say they have been on a submarine, well captured and held there, who was this coyote? why was he wanted, and why was she taken along with this. the pile of questions became bigger and her head was about to explode.
