Aki is a tall woman standing at 6'1 with lightly tanned skin. She is always seen with her two swords strapped to her waist with two crimson ropes. The swords are located on her left waist, allowing her to draw them quickly with her right hand (even though she is Ambidextrous.) Aki's most noticeable feature is the red eye-patch which covers her right eye. Another one of her noticeable feature is her scarf which is checkered Red and White. Under her scarf is a long, tight black shirt with white patterns of horizontal lines going across it. She wears a dark purple skirt with a slight opening at the front, this allows her legs to move freely. Under her skirt are tight black jeans for footwear, it's black boots.

Personality:

Aki tends to maintain serious yet laid-back personality however at times, she may get angered or lose her temper in a slightly goofy and comical style. Aki has a kind heart and will protect anyone who isn't an enemy, when engaging in combat with an extremely weak opponent she will tend to hold back by only using one sword and by using it's dull/not sharp side. Although Aki is not a samurai she still acts according to the Bushido (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bushido) . For example, she will refuse to attack the enemy un aware or if the enemy is very injured. unless of course the lives of her comrades are at risk. She is a dull sense of humor and is really big fan once it comes to terrible, tasteless jokes. Aki loves combat and testing her strength and will fight every single time she gets the chance, if she's not fighting, then she's either carrying out a food massacre (eating) or practicing her swordsmanship. She had a tendency to lose her stuff from time to time.

Background

Ochiba Aki. Daughter to a great swordsman who is known as "Sensei Rifu", the owner of a dojo in the East Blue. The Ochibo family were known for their great skill in the art of swordsmanship and there is a tradition that runs through the family that they should all become decent with a sword by the age of 10. Not Aki. She was different and was having trouble at learning to wield a sword, some members of the family saw her as a disgrace to the family. Her father was different and believed that practice makes perfect, no matter how long that practice takes it will always lead to success. Aki practiced day and night, inside and outside of her classes, she didn't want to be seen as a failure and didn't want her displease her father. As the years went by, her swordsmanship began to slowly improve but she was still at the bottom of the class. Her father, Rifu, noticed her progression and congratulated her. Aki was proud but she wasn't going to let her father pity her, she promised him that she will surpass him in the art of swordsmanship one day. She continued to practice and was determine to perfect the two-sword style.

Once she had reached 15, she had caught up with the rest of the class and was very proud. However she was aiming to be top in the class and right now that position was being occupied by a boy the same age as her. Deciding to test her skills on him, she invited him to the dojo during the night and challenged him, he eventually showed up after her waiting for him. The two dueled it out, it was quick and she had ended up losing. Running away feeling embarrassed, she had bumped into a gang. These group of thugs wanted money and they'd attack a small woman if they had to, with her only weapon being a training sword, she tried her best to fend off these men but they outnumbered her and injured her right eye. The boy she had dueled earlier saw this event taking place and fended off the men with his practice sword and helped her find her way home. Rifu thanked the boy, normally a parent with scold their child for wandering off at night but he just told her to simply "Not do it again."

Aki felt bad for displeasing her father so she put in extra hours into her training and eventually made it to the second best in the class, her father was once again proud of her dedication and hard work. After class, Aki and her father spent some bonding time together. Bonding time was rare since her father was really bust through out the week. Her father told her stories about a swordsman who was able to slice and dice through nay material known to man. Aki was really surprised, every material!? Even Steel! She asked her father for the secret to this technique however Rifu simply shrugged and said:

"His bond."

Aki was really confused with what he had said but before she got to ask a question Rifu had to go back to work.Yet another goal was on her list, to slice through any material she encounters.
