Appearance:

The Island is in a rough heart shape with a tall thick wall 20 miles from the surface of the island reaching all around the island with Marine soldiers on constant guard marching around the wall. There is a large gate similar to the gate of justice which is the only entrance to the island. The entrance is at the bottom of the heart where the docks are located at the bottom of the heart reaching up the sides. The island is rather small but is covered in medical facilities.

History:

Heart Gate was founded by a doctor Dr Earl Grey who chose to begin his work upon the island due to the discovery of new herbs which he could use in his profession. This island offered him great substitutes for surgery and shortly after arriving here and discovering the plant life he attempted to produce it to the world but the Marines quickly heard of the island and to avoid natural medicine falling into the hands of pirates they arrived to quickly take the island and put Dr Earl Grey in captivity till he spilt the information about the plant life. The Marines set up a large wall around the island in hopes of keeping the island the secrets of the island hidden and as for the doctor he still remains in the prison upon the island nearing his end in his old life. When Dr Earl grey was first told he would have to explain his findings to the marines he burned his notes on how to use the plant life but remembered them.

He refused to allow marines to learn the secrets of the island if they weren't to be shared with everyone across the world and since they weren't he kept his mouth shut and had his voice box removed by marines as a form of torture since they said he wouldn't need it if he had nothing to tell them. The Marines quickly built up a medical facility on the island where they have many places for injured marines to rest and recuperate. In the small corner of the island in the top left is a small scientific lab where they are still currently attempting to discover the properties of the plant life and how it can be used in surgery.

Weather:

Summer weather with slight breezes and once every month a foul storm strong enough to sweep anybody from their feet if caught out side in it

Animals/Wildlife:

Very small amount of very small mammals due to the medicine created on the island they are dying out from the toxins created

Government:

Heart Gate is funded by the World Government as a marine organisation in which they are able to discover new things about the plants discovered on the island.

Plant Life

Hyrogliff - Rainbow coloured flower which looks like a tulip with a long slender black stem and a shaggy green bushy bottom. These plants are very rare and often found growing on high perches and reach up about 5ft tall. They are found on their own though as when they are planted near each other they all try to block out the others to grow the biggest and brightest. These plants can kill of all parasites within the body and increase the white blood cell count.

Suiotroir - A red nettle which causes people when stung by it to break out in a large rash which when the rash comes into contact with other parts of the skin it spreads. The rash itches uncontrollably and is very rare. The plant can heal skin irritation except for that which it produces.

Tesllebelle - Shaped like a bell with a little brown seed hanging from it the Tesllebelle is a light yellow colour at the top of a white at the bottom. This plant is rare and grows best when taken care of. The greater care taken of the plant the greater its healing abilities. The plant can heal the Suiotroir's rash by rubbing it over the rash. It cure such illnesses as the common cold and infections.

Silver Tessllebelle - Similar to the Tesllebelle only instead of being white it is silver. This plant can help with mental problems creating a feeling of bliss. It is usually used as a plant rehabilitation. It is an addictive plant. After consuming 3 of of them the person will become paranoid & crave even more. After consuming 6 the person will see hallucinations, become even more paranoid and crave more. After eating 9 the person will become more paranoid, their hallucinations will become more difficult to tell the difference between reality, crave more and not and the person will experience dizziness constantly. After consuming 12 the person will fall into a deep sleep they will never wake up from.

Kistel - This flower is a cyan coloured rose with cup like leaves which collect rain water. It is very rare to find. The rarest flower possible and the actual flower does nothing but look pretty. The water collected in the leaves however is tainted by the spores inside the leaves. Anyone who drinks it will fall in love with the first person they lay eyes upon. If this plant is used for medical usage the stem can be used to create a cure for those who fall under its love spell and even cure people who are suffering from a broken heart or other relation problems.

Mungdoon- A silver weed of which there is only one which is said to grow back every 10 years. This weed is incredibly hard to find. It is said to be rooted into the island so deep that it can spring up anywhere on the island which is why its never been so easy to find. It has only one capability and that is that if placed in the body of the dead it can bring them back to life. But the weed will then rot inside them giving up its own life.

Tarrners - Tarrners are plants which are very easily found due to the fact that they mimic sounds. They are large plants which stand roughly around the same height of most humans. They are egg shaped and coloured an egg shell white with pink spots all over it. They face upwards and often attempt to draw in their prey. They are a carnivorous plant which once they have drawn in their prey they lift themselves out of the ground via 8 10 ft long vines and try to eat you. The egg shaped head opened up like a mouth with 4 sections opening up down left & right. It has two tongues which are like whips and 3 layers of teeth each growing larger the further out they are. This plant when used in medicine can be used to combat against dangerous illnesses such as small pox and most poisons. They also can make quite nice perfumes too.

Fang-Dango - The Fang-Dango is a purple plant shaped like a bum. These plants are similar to cactus since they have spikes over them. They create toxins which are dangerous to breath in. If you breath them in for a total of 5 posts you will lose your sense of smell for the rest of the thread. If you breath them in for any longer then you will slowly lose more and more senses and consciousness with each post in which you can smell them. These plants let off their scent every hour and it reaches a radius of 25 ft. They are often used in biological warfare due to their foul odor and not able to be used for much.
