Appearance:

Shaped like a giant circular island Pirguru is a small island with large walls all around it and one canal leading in and one leading out, with large gates blocking the entrance & exit. The canal leads into the center of town where the docks are located in a circle around the clock tower/lightning conductor and then when a person chooses to exit they must leave via the other canal leading from the center out. The town looks as if there is always a festival going on and has a ridiculous amount of bars scattered throughout it. There are many balconys and the town square is often deemed as 'party central' as it is where pirates dock and stay over as well as where most of the bars are located.

History:

Born into a lifeless town of Pirguru, Koga Mitchell a young inventor watched how the town was locked in a deep depression after a tidal wave washed through the town destroying it. One day whilst practicing sword fighting he watched how lightning struck down on to only metal objects. This went on for days as he watched how lightning was conducted till he finally realized what lightning was. Not a destructive force of weather but a power source which could be harnessed. Taking some sheet metal and some other tools he threw it together and managed to make a working light. Proud of himself he continued working on other inventions.

Eventually he managed to fall into a winning formula. Proposing an idea to the town Mayor he asked if they could turn the clock tower into a lightning conductor for these inventions he'd managed to create. After a brief demonstration and delighting the mayor he agreed to lighting up the town with these 'Koga Lamps' and using the clock tower as a place to generate power. Due to the constant lightning nightly this made experimenting with the lighting very easy and after a few failed attempts success was found and the town was alive with electricity. They used the electricity to power lights of every kind and Koga was launched into a business developing lights of every kind for every shop and more. They created a canal entrance into the town and exit for travelers and also a way to stop criminals from making a quick escape and put in place two gates on either side of the round canal going around the clock tower.

Since then the town has been running on lightning at night and sunlight during the day.

The only problem with this island is that with tidal waves prone to this area of the sea it can cause mass execution due to the electricity. Most people believe it was a freak accident and hope that it was. However more are on the horizon.

During later experiments in the town Koga attempted to work further into making the town a more delightful place by working with gears and cogs hoping to be able to make draw bridges & other tools which would held in the town. After researching and working he discovered that by using the lightning as a power source he could create draw bridges between balconys on roof tops and even create a door which opens and closes to either allow or deter people from entering the island. Setting in place the large doors on either side to stop people entering and exiting Koga lost a few men in the process. Struggling to cope with the loss of his friends and family Koga fell into a depression. Burying his men one night he watched how the lightning struck down into the coffin and struck the body. Smiling a new idea took to his brain.

After the funeral he dug up a body and opened up the lower part of the clock tower below the ground. He knew he couldn't bring back the dead but he could bring them back in a sense. Slicing open the bodies and replacing parts of their bodies with gears he then got to work with the brain. He knew that this would be a main problem and started advertising that any loved ones who were in situations where the body was failing them they could be saved. After the first week he got one reply in which a wife brought her husband to Koga who with the help from a skilled surgeon who after an extremely generous few beli was offered to Koga & the surgeon transplanted his brain into the body.

Hooking the body up to the lightning conductor they both managed to re-animate the corpse and bring it back to life. The only problem was when he was presented to his wife she fled in terror to explain Koga's experiments to the mayor.

When Koga & the surgeon watched what happened they turned back to the creature who fled. The two were now in deep water and the following day were both banished from the island. The creature was order to be caught but sadly it hasn't been found yet and is on the lose below the island. The creature struggles so much with what it has become that it cannot face the life it once lived and after being shocked the brain was fried and thus isn't working at full capacity.

The Island of Pirguru works with a very loose system. They care about protecting their citizens but also wish them to have a fun time around the island. The form of justice on the island is loose and free and enjoyment comes first for the island.

Koga's Monster
The creature cannot be killed but it can be disabled by over loading it with electricity. If the creature is over loaded with electricity it will not return for the rest of the thread. 'Koga's Monster' is deemed to be a murderous killer and a danger to all who encounter it.

Koga's Monster's Armoy

• Piston Legs
Using pistons in the legs, Koga's Monster has legs which created an incredible strength that allows him to propel himself through the air. The maximum distance he can jump is 25 feet.

• Coolant
Connected via pipes leading throughout his body Koga's Monster has coolant running coursing through his body to keep him from over heating. These pipes can be cut and if they are Koga's Monster will overheat and burst into flames. Once he bursts into flames Koga's Monster will escape and upon returning will be patched up.

• Marble Hands
His hands are made out of marble and thus very hard but can be broken. If his hands are broken he will retreat and upon returning his hands will be repaired.

• Steel Feet
His feet are made of black steel which is virtually impossible to melt or even dent. The metal is incredible resilient and will stand up to almost anything.

Koga's Laboratory

In Koga's Laboratory which is situated beneath the clock tower and connects too various other parts of the island via tunnels there are a variety of blue prints for weaponry, chemicals, failed inventions, successful inventions and spare parts for Koga's Monster as well as add on's. All of the inventions found in Koga's Lab will be useful for combat.

There power switch to the entire town may also be found in Koga's lab as the lightning conductor charges up a large battery kept in his lab which is connected to the lights all around town.
