Slam Dunk Manga

I just finished reading this manga recently and I've got to say, it's great! Probably the best sport series I've read (And I've read a lot of sport series lol). The ending is quite sad though it's also pretty realistic. The art is also pretty detailed and nice for the eyes and the characters development is excellent. I do hope that this series continues one day since it's the whole reason I picked up the sport basketball!

Plot:

Hanamichi Sakuragi is a delinquent who has never had any luck with girls. However, when he meets Haruko Akagi, he is sure that she's the one for him. Haruko is a big basketball fan and notices his potential as a basketball player (due to his immense height). Hoping to win her heart, Hanamichi earnestly tries out for the basketball team. Does this complete newbie have what it takes to even join the team?
