Chop, chop, chop.
The artist’s block.

Food is art,
It comes from the heart.
They should never be kept apart,

Chop, chop, chop.
The artist’s block.
Cut, slice and grind,
Then portion, and bind.

Don’t faint, don’t sleep
Bring them all into the heap.

Exotic ingredient
The kind of food? Quite lenient,
Orderly, or deviant.

Chop, chop, chop.
The artist’s block.
Slavering away in the kitchen
Without recipes written.

A taste, perhaps?
Bleugh! Like scraps!

An absolute failure indeed,
An excuse? None would take heed,
Oh, a recipe she should read!

More sugar? More spice?
To make it more nice?
No, it’s a failure
Her face becomes paler

Whatever can she do,
Bid her career adieu?
