Creative Character Writing Competition

Welcome to One Piece Memories first competition, this is a creative writing competition where we want you to write something creative about another character. Not one of your own, but someone else's. You may write a poem, a story, a song or anything you wish about them.  The dates for this competition will be from today until the 27th February.

The Winner will be listed here and gain a mystery surprise




You must post your entries below and if you don't they will not be counted.
Plagiarism will be discounted.
No length requirements.
No rhyming is needed but if you want to you can.
I'd like it very much if you keep it English too.
If it contains strong offensive language please place it in a spoiler.

The competition will be judged by myself thus I will not be entering the competition.

Character: Akira.

Barren and desolate. The vale of darkness. A grove of blood and misery. The garden of black dust. He walked through the land of eternal ash, fertile soil never to be used. The fiery inferno of a bombardment long past, so thorough and so precise, nothing remained. The grass cowered. Nothing remained of the centuries old trees which protected the land with shade. Nothing living belonged to the island. It had sinned, and all that had done evil was eradicated. All that survived, lived beneath the ground. Never to emerge.

He sauntered through the evil land. Faces in the dirt turned to them in their misery and woe, faces etched with grief of what they were, and what they had become. Wood became ash, and fed the ground. No pollen to spread, no seeds to settle. No mountains the block the wind, no mounds to provide relief. The rain fed the soil, but nothing else drank it. Kneeling, his hands brushed the ground, rubbing the dirt between his index and thumb. Akira walked to the middle of the island, or as close as he could assume.

Life began anew. An assemblage of colours sprang from the ground, red to blue, yellow to white. Dandelions, labyrinthine ivy wrapped upon trees. Shattered fragments of bone and brick disappeared beneath the sea of green. Efflorescence conflated as the field came into bloom. He walked around, plants blooming in his wake, trees grew to tower above him, which he took in stride. A previous blight became glamour, from the aftermath of destruction came halcyon. There was diversity upon the island, lissom spires of purple and blue, lithe bamboo shoots to compliment the offing.

The island would from now on be a serendipity, and he walked back to his ship, leaving the sumptuous island behind him as he stepped upon the construction of wood and steel. The ship left, gliding across the peaceful sea, leaving the dulcet scent and causing small ripples in their wake into the tranquil horizon.
