SITE EVENT: Public Enemy Number One

Ugh… He got away. Mishi flopped back to the ground, exhausted and in pain. She eeded to get medical treatment otherwise… She took a look at her legs, and gulped. They looked pretty torn up, and she hoped nothing important was hit, though due to the fact she was still alive, they weren’t immediately lethal. She turned to the side, wincing in pain, and the expression: “eyes wide as saucers” quite applied to her at this point. Ants. Dozens-no… Hundreds of them, were they Cortez’s guardians too? “N-no way..” She gulped, she rummaged into her pockets, trying to find something –anything- that could stop them, or at least slow them down, but still… Her foot was stuck, what COULD she do?

Suddenly, an idea came to her, she threw the marine vest that she still had toward the ants, then rummaged into her back, attempting to take some gunpowder and shot out. She hoped to the heavens that this would work, no.. She just needed the gunpowder, and her cut-in-half flintlock. She quickly stuffed the gunpowder into the sawn-flintlock, pushed it upon the marine vest and set it alight, hoping to both burn and ward off the ants. If this didn’t work she was so, so very dead.

Watching as the insects manufactured within his body rushed to greet Tullus, Cortez was pleased with the insects and felt they would be more than enough to finish Tullus. Turning to Mishi he watched to see the sudden spurt of flames bursting out of no where. His beautiful creatures screaming in pain dying before him. Filling with rage at the sheer sight he unsheathed his sword and raised it up high above his head ready to cleave through the vile poisonous woman who hated mother nature with a passion.

"You're gonna pay for that you poisonous bitch!" Cortez howled from his lungs looking over a ravaged beard and through torn up eyes.

Pausing in place Cortez's hands felt limp over his blade and seconds later the blade came crashing down with nothing more than gravity dragging it to the ground. His eyes flared open wide and blood began to trickle down from his neck over his tank top and chest.

Spilling forth Cortez dropped to his knees and seconds later to the ground fully bleeding out. A small puddle forming around him. Looking in Tullus's direction Cortez inhaled deeply.

Three shots, three solid hits. That was definitely what Tullus wanted to see! Now this rotten bastard was on the ground in a pool of his own blood! Only thing left to make this a cliché scene was to have Cortez start begging for mercy or something like that. Maybe he'll say something along the lines of, "You haven't won just yet!" And then the bandaged man plants a few more bullets into his head just to shut him up. Yeah, that'd be some really cool ass shit right there. But nope, the villain just lied there and made a deep breath in. Must've punctured his lungs, blood flowing into it now. Probably'll die of suffocation in ten minutes or more. He could also feel the insects weaken and feel sluggish as opposed to before he shot the bearded crime lord.

With that thought planted in his mind, Tullus strolled up to Cortez, both of them have their backsides soaked in blood. One gun, one winner. Not sparing a single second thought, the stranger popped his last three shots into the dying pirate; One in his head, two in his heart. Hopefully, it'll all be over by then and these insects will finally disappear.

Mishi groaned as she looked toward Cortez, he didn’t like her gift for the ants. He was coming toward her, she was going to die. Mishi felt a knot of fear groew inside her that slowly elapsed as she found more and more of her blood leaving her legs. Tit wasn’t good, she needed to stop the flow, or maybe she had just lost too much for now, and her legs had already begun to do… Something to stop the bleeding, she wasn’t a medical expert. Oh yes… Cortez was being shot, wasn’t he?

Darkness shrouded around her, she couldn’t see it through, but she hoped beyond hope that it was the bandaged guy who won, because… …

Her legs were bloody and full of splinters, but they weren’t really all that bad, but if they stayed in then it could be trouble for her what with illness and all, she just passed out from the pain (and minor blood loss) due to not being used to it, as Tullus would obviously be able to sympathise with.
