The Smiler is a 4 foot long sword made from Steel with a curled hand guard which protects the wielders wrist from any damage especially blades, the hilt is thin with an ergonomic design to match the grooves of the human hand and an emerald jewel is located at the top of the hilt. The hilt of the blade is also decorated quite extravagantly with shades of purple and grey overlapping and blending together to increase the aesthetic appeal of the weapon.

Weapon History: The Smiler originally belonged to Captain Gold Smile Johnson who had it created for him from a Blacksmith in Loguetown and was his primary weapon of choice for the past 25 years and was a battle hardened blade having being repaired numerous times from battle giving it a battle worn look and feel. When Captain Johnson retired from a life of Piracy in his late 60's he handed the weapon down to Art Redmond the current owner when he became Captain of the Smiling Pirates.
