Near Harpoon Island
South Blue

Sitting aboard the marine ship looking out over the stormy weather that welcomed them, Captain Lero Kuroba sat in the crow's nest. Rain splattered over his face and dripped down his torso, thankfully his jacket took the majority of the rainfall. In the far distance the shadow of a ship could be seen. The men below all had themselves covered in rain coats and struggled ti fight against the sea's hefty winds which blew their hats aside and swept their hair out of place.

Clinging to the railings of the ship and as for the captain the helm, Lero stood in the crow's nest holding on with his bare feet. A little more difficult for him than others, but not a feat he couldn't endure. With the ship shaking violently and breeze almost blowing him aside he had a feeling White Wing's ship had not only come here, but been and gone. It wouldn't surprise him if he was however. Waves splashed up aboard the deck and as the ship drew closer the remains of a previous Naval ship came into sight. Ripped into two half and half stood barely sticking out of the ground. Nodding Lero understood that White Wing had been and gone. From the looks of it, he'd also helped himself to the ship's turrets.

Feeling uneasiness in his torso Lero hopped over the edge of the crow's nest. Allowing himself to fall he used Lucky Rabbit's Foot: Air Hare to lessen the drop. Dropping into the shaking deck Lero was tossed against the mast back first. Water splashed up into his face and seconds later a fish. Slapping him in the face, Lero stepped towards the front of the ship where inferior recruits struggled to hold on.

Standing beside them he waited for the ship to close in on the wreckage which awaited their arrival. Leaning down to one of the recruits he opened his mouth to speak.

"Once Summers & myself are overboard contact Captain Horhee and tell him we're here and to keep his eyes peeled. I've got a feeling I know where this sick bastard is going." Standing back up straight once more, Lero placed a foot on the railing and gripped it tightly. The ship shook once more and nearly knocked the entire ship upside down, but this wasn't going to stop Lero. Not as long as he had breath in his lungs and a pair of feet on the end of his legs.

Parting the darkness of the storm revealed the horrible remains of the naval ship they'd come to protect. Corpses littered the remains and blood streaked all over it. The man responsible for this would be known as Terror of Harpoon island.

Matt was fast asleep lower down the ship but he was awoken by the ship's violent shakes which knocked him off his bed. Falling onto the floor face first, he rubbed his head. Where was he again? Oh yeah, they were going to Harpoon Island. Slowly getting back onto his feet, he tried his best to balance against this horrible weather. He then found a yellow rain jacket which was hung on one of the pegs, Matt approached this peg and removed the coat. He slipped it on, zipped it up and put up the hood.

"Alright, here goes nothing." he muttered as he began to climb the stairs leading to the deck, he left his helmet inside his bag which was on top of his bed.

Daaamn. He was expecting bad weather but this was unbelievable, he kept slipping on the wet deck. Noticing the bodies which floated on the crimson waters, Matt gulped. Was this the doing of White Wing? Matt felt vomiting but he was to occupied on trying to stay on his feet. He noticed Lero and tried to call out to him however a fish found it's way into Matt's mouth. He quickly pulled it out and chucked it back to the sea, where it belonged. Now he really felt like vomiting, bad weather, dead bodies and live fish in his mouth. Could this day get any worse..?

Raising the sails and slowing down the ship slowly drew itself to a halt. With the waves still battering the sides of the ship and the wreckage sitting before them. The Marines aboard quickly clung to pieces of their ship which would be essential to taking off again and one bright spark lower the anchor to try and keep them in place. Smiling as the ship was smacked again and Lero hit with another fish in the face, he looked back to see Summers up in his large yellow poncho. Gesturing for him to join him at the bow of the ship, Lero turned to look over the wreckage.

"This is it Summers, the ship we were sent here to investigate. So lets get aboard and see what we can find out about this place ship and the attack. Remember there may be survivors too, so do your best to rescue them."

Climbing up on the railing during this foul weather Lero felt his feet slip a little just before he kicked off towards the left side of the sunken ship. Landing on the mast of the bow Lero looked back towards Summers.

"Summres your best bet for getting in that side of the ship is diving in and climbing in through that window! I'll see you in a couple of minutes."

Taking a few steps from the mast Lero started to descend into the rest of the ship. Climbing down with his feet into the ship, Lero jumped from wall to wall until he finally hit the water. Reaching up to his knees he shook his head. He wasn't fond of swimming, but it wasn't something he couldn't do. Stepping down and falling through the door, Lero begun to swim and spun himself around so his head was headed down.

With a big breath tucked away in his lungs, Lero started to kick with his feet to swim further down along these corridors to see what he could find.

Matt was having second thoughts about this, so he had to leap into the freezing water and get in through that window. After a few moments of arguing with himself, Matt decided that an order was on order. Inhaling as much as he could, he leaped off the ship and into the violent sea. He knew how to swim but these waves were ferocious and were a pain to swim against, luckily for him, the window was close by and he managed to get into the sunken ship.

"This place really is a wreck.." Matt thought to himself as he looked around the wrecked room he was in.

Right. He needed to look for clues and possibly survivors, he continued to venture deeper into the sunken ship.

Swimming further down inside the wreck of the ship holding his breath, Lero managed to kick off of the door frame into what appeared to be the dining room. Hitting his face on a pan Lero knocked it aside with his helmet and continued to swim further down.

Swimming out of the back and into the storage room he caught sight of a Marine corpse. The body had clothing gripping on to the shelves. This made Lero shake his head. Turning and swimming from the storage room further towards the front of the ship this is when Lero caught sight of the very evidence he needed.

Swimming into the large office which had a large window to look through at the front he could see that it as no more and dug into the wall the door he'd just entered through was part of were feathers.

White Wing

This was his doing. Over a hundred feathers were on display in the wall. Swimming towards them Lero licked out out with his foot holding it between his toes. Swimming back out from the office he headed towards the opening.

A large wave shot towards the part of the ship Matt was to investigate. Smacking into the right side of the ship, windows shattered and two of the rooms which hadn't been flooded were slowly beginning to fill up. Glass shattered over the floor and all the furniture was leaning against the back wall.

The back wall was no a floor and floor another wall. Corpses were crushed beneath furniture and further down in the storage room right now cannon balls were rolling to the left thanks to the wave. The great weight would soon be pulling this portion of the ship over and fully submerging it.

Umi slowly forced her eyes open as she felt a cold and wet sensation rush over her in the form of seawater. Groaning she put her hand on her forehead in an attempt to soothe the thudding sensation that was currently making her slightly lightheaded. She was in a sitting position, squeezed in between a wall and a crate. The room she was in was slowly filling up with water and she had the ancestors to thank that she was sitting up because if she had been passed out lying down she'd have drowned by now since the water was about knee deep.

Slowly making her way up into a standing position she shook her head and started to look for a way out. Warily observing as the cracks on the window grew larger. She needed to get away from this wreck and find help and she had to do it fast. But the thing was, that if she went beyond that door she would probably just be met with more water.

But she had to get out somehow.

Now there was no way in hell she was fitting through that small circular window so if she wanted as much as a chance to survive this her best chance was to break down that door and take a deep breath and just swim.

She wished she could remember what had happened to put her and the rest of her comrades in such a situation but all she could remember was the ship shaking and that she hit her head and then just went out cold. Ancestors her wrist really hurt as well. She must have sprained it or something like that.

Making her way over to the door she could feel the water up to her thighs now and how her uniform was soaked making her shudder as the water was pretty cold.

She was trying her best to ignore the corpses she had left behind her sitting propped up against the floor/wall now. Now how to break through this door? She would have to jump on it to break through it but her wrist was killing her, from the feeling it was probably swollen as well but she was lucky enough to actually survive with only that and a few minor wounds. Not ending up like her dead comrades.

Taking a deep breath she bent her legs and jumped up, braced for impact and then crashed through the door.

Matt felt a large wave hit against the ship, he heard windows smash and furniture tumble. Great, now that the windows were gone more water could began to make it's way into the ship. He continued to move, each step he took, the greater the amount of water. It looked like he would have to begin swimming soon, he looked around the dark ship. All he could see was broken furniture, broken glass, broken walls... so pretty much everything he saw was broken. A fish managed to find it's way into the ship, it shot out of the water gave Matt a good slap across the face before returning back. He was having bad luck with fish today, huh?

"Could this day get any wo-"

He was interrupted as a body smashed through the door beside him and went smashed straight into him. Well. Looks like there are survivors.

Arriving with his head above the water's surface Lero had started to realize that the water levels were rising thanks to the rain. Shooting a glance towards the ship he noticed how it struggled to stay in place. looking towards the other half of the ship he realized it was in trouble.

Using his feet to climb aboard the second mast which held Matt's side to Lero's side and sustained it stopping it from floating, Lero hopped on top and quickly made his way across attempting to avoid slipping.

Reaching the other side with a thud as he slipped and landed back first on what seemed to be the helm he realized he was on the outside of the ship and needed to get inside. Tilting heavily and taking on gallons of water Lero steadied himself on the wheel.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot: Air Hare

Propelling himself into the air and towards the top of the ship he could feel the wind blasting into his attempting to knock him off course whilst the feather tickled his foot. Landing atop the ship Lero looked down into the murky depths of the trashed ship. He knew that Summers couldn't break through this, but he could.

Leaping into the air and dropping down towards the debris which blocked his path Lero quickly stretched out a leg.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot: Lucky Number III

With his foot sweeping round and his body spinning at the same time the debris was cast aside in broken tatters allowing Lero the bastard to land on his other foot in the water below.

He could hear thunder in the far off distance closing in and the sound of something blunt making an impact below. Looking down into the pool that had grasped him, Lero started swimming down to find his recruit.

Umi was pretty sure that impact had broken her wrist. Also the splinters from the door had cut her as she crashed through it.

Those weren't the things that were worrying her though, even though her wrist was really hurting and the salt water was stinging in her wounds. What worried her though was the thing she had crashed into on the way down. It was very dark so she couldn't see much but she could definitely feel that the thing she had crashed into wasn't a piece of furniture, it was too squishy to have been made out of wood.

She managed to make out the figure of a man in the dark water and felt a shudder run up her spine as she realized she must have jumped right onto another corpse. Was she the only survivor of what had happened? Suddenly feeling guilt build up inside her as she didn't even really remember what had happened.

Then she saw the body was very much alive and went to gasp in shock only to let out a stream of bubbles as she swallowed some water instead of actually gasping.

Ouch. Matt accidentally swallowed some water as the figure crashed into him. Today was probably the worst day ever for Matt.. but at least he found a survivor. It was too dark to tell if it was either a male or female but the figure was close that he could confidently make out that it was a male... wait, I meant female. Anyways, Matt didn't know what to do from there, he couldn't speak or he'll swallow a mouthful of water meaning he couldn't communicate with the female. His best shot was to keep her alive and make sure she's well until Lero arrives.

He'd have to use hand signs for the time being. He flashed a thumbs up over to female and tried his best to smirk without opening his mouth.

Xio began to wake.. That was such a crappy nap. He felt sore all over his body. Especially in his chest. Rubbing it, he felt wet. Opening his eyes and looking at his hands, it was bloody. Surprised, he tried to stand up, but wobbled back down. Looking around, everyone was dead. What on earth?!

Must've been knocked unconcious, it must be a bad concussion. Xio didn't remember anything after all. He remembered being stationed in the south blue and nothing else... Maybe the marines were alive? He wanted to check, but he could barely walk.

After taking a couple steps, he slipped. The rain was getting heavy, and Xio was standing on debris after all. On his knees, he realize it was beginning to cover his body. Fast.

Walking around the debris, Xio moved to the point of land. The water only got higher however. The water was past his waist and heading towards his head now. Deciding to swim, Xio stretched his long arms which were also killing him. He started to float, holding his sword which was next to him when he woke.

Taking one stroke, he stopped. The sea water was killing him. The pain in his chest started to increase. Stopping, Xio just started floating. Maybe somebody will find me... I can't be the only survivor. This is more comfortable anyways Xio thought floating on his back. Never mind. The water began to splash across his chest. The current was terrible, and the rain wasn't helping. Xio was probably goig to drown at this rate. He didn't have enough energy to swim.

Black Clover Bastards: The Harpoon Island Terror DIJbReH

Swimming further down through the water through the debris of the ship, that had only days ago been floating atop the waves on its way to Harpoon island or headed away, Lero felt something jab him in the chest and froze. Drifting back his back hit a wall and his eyes caught sight of the creature that had jabbed him.

A large eel had jabbed its tail into his chest. Slithering towards him and attempting to wrap around his right leg, Lero raised his left and kicked down sliding the serpent from his leg. Kicking off from the wall towards a gap into the next room, the eel lunged towards his right leg which had almost made its escape.

Widening his eyes with the sudden pain that resonated through his body Lero paused and kicked frantically with his leg as the eel had bitten him sinking its teeth firmly into his leg.

Releasing as the eel was smacked into a cabinet Lero continued through the gap. Letting out a few bubbles of air which found their way skyward Lero could feel holding his breath had become a little more difficult.

Continuing and swimming further down, he could heard something knocking about in the water and followed the sound. The ambiance of the situation in the ship that was tipping shook Lero as he felt the water shift and air reveal itself to him. Taking advantage of this rare situation he popped his head up and out of water as his body tilted towards the left with the water. Sucking in all the air he could the space as suddenly filled with more water.

Black Clover Bastards: The Harpoon Island Terror 8ZJRtWq

The ship crashed on to its left side and the momentum along with the hordes of water slammed Lero through one of the walls weakened by the gallons. Landing in a room where gentleman with long arms seemed to be. Hitting the wall he looked towards the man. The hordes of water that had dragged him this way, now filled the room. Noticing the extraordinarily long arms Lero cursed in his head.

Sonovabitch there couldn't be a better metaphor for irony if ever he tried. Despite the pain in his body, Lero allowed the gallons of water to continuously press him against the wall. Once it was done, he felt as if his ribs were cracked but this was no time to give in to pain.

Using his legs to propel himself towards the man who now would be floating aimlessly in the middle of the room, Lero used one of his stubs to jab the man in marine clothing and gestured for him to follow.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot: Air Hare

Kicking off of the water itself Lero sent out a small wave of water which traveled picking up momentum and finally shattered a hole in the wall which had been filled with more debris. Knocking it aside Lero looked towards Xio and gestured to follow him, his eyes screamed intensity and this could be attributed down to the pain in his chest and the blood trailing from his leg where the wounds stung. But he wouldn't let this stop him in his attempt to rescue these soldiers.

Black Clover Bastards: The Harpoon Island Terror LIcWUzG
Black Clover Bastards: The Harpoon Island Terror Cos1f36

Tilting on its side the water begun to drag everything in the room to the left cabinets, desks, draws and all lose objects from pens to staplers & more. All of it flew into the air and was caught by water with lessened its speed. Rolling on to the left side the floor & walls all shifted.

Watching in terror the crew of Horhee's who'd brought Lero & Matt here did their best to remain calm, but it proved a struggle. One or two voices shouted out in alarm to try and acknowledge Lero & Matt, but when there was no answer they stared horrified frozen in place as their commanding officer attempted to figure out their best course of action at this current time.

He wanted to turn and run leaving rescue for another day even though it wouldn't be rescue but a salvage mission.

Crashing through the window it was ripped off of the wall and thrown aside as gallons of water tore the wall asunder and gushed down into the room dragging the ship further down and much deeper. In time the ship would begin its descent and sink to the ocean floor where danger would arise for fear of pressure changing, lack of air and increase of ferocious sea life.

However with a huge gaping hole in the side of the ship leading out into the ocean this meant a clear easy way out, once the water ceasing gushing in with such force of course, currently it was shooting in at such speed with such weight that bones would be shattered. It would be a struggle to escape in time, but it was possible. Along with the water however, a cacophony of sea life trickled in through the gap.

Ship Side
"The Storm Rages On"

Above the seas the storm raged on and only grew worse. From the left a large wave was only picking up height and speed headed for the ship. Already at 15 feet and a good few miles away it would only get worse and more devastating the closer it got.

Noticing these large approaching dangers the commanding officer stepped forward and placed a foot on the winch to the anchor. He was seriously considering attempting to escape at this moment in time. Stepping from the decks below and heading upstairs woken from their naps two swordsmen approached the commanding officer.

One of the two placed a hand upon the commanding officer's shoulder. Turning his face fell upon a sight he'd never expected to see. Dropping his jaw to the floor like all other soldiers aboard the ship their eyes fell upon two Commodore's who were renowned for being two of the most feared soldiers from the South Blue.

"What're you two doing here?!" the officer questioned in shock.

Scratching his head Commodore Icable shrugged his shoulders. Commodore Righguard looked towards Icable then the Commanding officer and continued.

"This ship was supposed to drop us off along the way here, but we fell asleep and missed our stop."

"YOU FELL ASLEEP!?" all voices aboard the ship called out in such shock that such a superior officer could make such a simple mistake.

"Seems it"

"So whose taking control of this big wave hurtling towards us?" Icable asked pointing towards the wave he'd seen through the telescope that the commanding officer had been holding on to and he'd snatched away.

"Well currently we're questioning heading off."

"But sir what about Captain Lero & Officer Summers?" one of the recruits called out questioning his actions.

Turning back to shout at the marine for his words which would only halt him momentarily the Commanding Officer shouted back.

"They're as good as dead. Just like we'll be if we stay here any longer."

"The Navy don't leave good men behind."

Icable mentioned as he tied a bandana around his head and reached for his nodaci which hung from his back. This was the only perk about being a small giant. Removing it and holding his nodachi in a single hand he took upon himself a stance and grinned at Righguard who nodded and tipped his cowboy hat.

"He's right y'know. Leave this wave to us and keep an eye out for your men." Righgaurd reached for two katanas. Holding one in each hand he held the right one vertical and left horizontal.

"What're you going to do cut it?!" the officer questioned frantically not understanding their actions. Both commodore's nodded and revealed a devilish grin over their faces as they readjusted their stances.

Realizing they weren't joking the officer stepped back and turned to his men.

"You heard them, keep an eye out for Lero & Summers!"

Giving the man a thumbs up in return Umi then felt herself being dragged towards the left along the rest of the ship and felt it sink a bit more as a window was busted away by the water and loads of more water and sea life welled in. She could feel that her air in her lungs was starting to run out and was worried the same thing was happening to her comrade as well.

But as much as that hole was a problem it was also an exit.

Motioning for her comrade to come along she started to swim towards the hole, only to find herself being knocked back by the stream and from fishes bumping into her. To swim through it would take a lot of force and strength. Two things she wasn't really in the best condition to use in her beat up state. But breaking a few ribs was nothing against drowning and ending up in a watery grave.

Whilst using whatever strength she had left to swim against the stream Umi felt something sharp latch onto her arm and lost concentration for a split second as she looked down at the fish that had bitten into her upper left arm, it looked like a small shark almost but she could clearly feel it only had one row of teeth. And not super sharp ones at that. Still didn't mean it didn't hurt like a bitch though.

But she had to keep swimming if she wanted to get out so she allowed it to stay attached for a moment before she was finally able to grab a hold of one of the edges of the hole and pull herself out before reaching down to help her comrade.

Water splashed across Xio's face and he began to gag. Guess my times up... Xio thought. Ready to die, he was then saved. An armless marine swam towards him. What on earth? Was he a survivor? Xio had several thoughts in his head, but he was a marine so he tried to follow.

"I dont know if I can make it!" Xio gasped.

Stretching his long arms, Xio attempted to grab Lero. He was hurt, but Xio still had a little energy. Eh whatever. Let's just let this guy take him. Xio felt kinda awkward asking an armless man to save him. But he was still thankful.

Xio scanned the marine. He noticed he was also hurt. It didn't look too severe, but he knew the man could give out. Still holding on, Xio tried to propel himself, kicking his legs, to help. The man might be injured, had no arms, but was still probably more reliable then himself.

Black Clover Bastards: The Harpoon Island Terror Empty Re: Black Clover Bastards: The Harpoon Island Terror

Matt watched as the woman got dragged towards the left by the water, soon later, he was also getting dragged along. Matt's chest began to burn, he couldn't hold his breath for much longer. He saw as the woman signaled for him to follow so that's exactly what he did, she seemed to be swimming towards the large hole on the side of the ship.

He tried his best to follow but it was hard swimming against the stream.

Matt saw as some sort of fish sunk it's teeth into the woman's arm, ouch. That was gonna leave more then just a mere mark. He reached his arm out towards the woman who was now hanging from the edge of the hole and attempting to pull Matt out too. He needed to thank her later. Suddenly, Matt felt something similar to a knife pierce his leg, this caused him to open his mouth and let some air bubbles out but he quickly closed it. Looking back, he saw it was the same fish that had bitten the woman's arm. He ignored it for now, escaping came first. He attempted to clutch the woman's arm.

Black Clover Bastards: The Harpoon Island Terror Empty Re: Black Clover Bastards: The Harpoon Island Terror

Feeling something tugging on him and slowing him down, Lero turned to look at the stupid long armed marine. He pulled away from the marine and shook his head. The extra weight would just slow him down and Lero was weak enough as it was fighting against the gallons of water suffering with possibly broken ribs and blood trailing from his leg. He simply didn't have the strength to pull extra weight along.

Swimming out through the gap he'd made Lero closed his eyes for a moment floating in the water before the next wall which lead out into the great vast blue. Taking this moment to focus himself and throw his pain aside his eyes flipped open.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot: Air Hare

Shattering the wood and sending it splintering off into different directions Lero looked back into the ship and gestured for the floor to get out before it was too late. Swimming up himself aiding his propulsion with his air hare technique Lero reached the surface. As his head rose and his body straightened out he felt a searing pain in his torso. Ignoring this the best he could, Lero took another breath and dived back beneath the water's surface.

Darting towards the long arm Lero used the same technique that he'd been using whilst under water all along to get to him. Managing to get behind the long armed man, Lero placed his back against the wall and feet against Xio's back. in the crushed position he was in his ribs hurt again.

The searing pain made him wince, doing his best to ignore it in the respects of saving lives Lero started to taste blood. His eyes widened for a second before he gritted his teeth and kicked off with both feet hoping to kick this lazy bastard out of the ship and into the open blue.

The ship was going down and he could feel it picking up momentum.

With the gallons of water crashing into the walls of the ship and pulling it further down the ship begun to sink. Picking up momentum it started crashing down at great speed towards the ocean floor and splintering off into debris which drifted throughout the sea.

Falling from Matt & Umi who had managed to pull themselves towards the hole and the ship which had slipped back losing its grip over them thanks to the size of the hole, Matt & Umi were safe, at least out of danger of the large sinking ship. That much was for sure.

Sitting just above was the large marine ship of Horhee's. Hanging from the side of the ship and trailing in the rough seas above was a ladder with two large black weights attached to make it more visible and stop it from sailing away.

Ship Side
"The Storm Rages On"

The wave had picked up speed and height, soon it would be raising up reaching a full height of 35 feet the two Commodores remained standing ready for it to hit.

The Commanding officer and various other recruits watched in terror as the two Commodore's didn't bat an eyelid nor move an inch but remain vigilant with their blades in hand.

"Going to attack that thing yet?!" The commanding officer called out in a tone that screeched terror.

Biting their fingernails as the wave grew taller and closer the recruits wee terrified as was their officer. Yawning Icable seemed too tired for such a feat, this only instilled a greater sense of fear into the commanding officer who shouted back.

"YOU CAN'T BE YAWNING AT A TIME LIKE THIS! ITS TOO IMPORTANT!"

Giving him a small gesture that seemed to say don't worry about it, Icable turned back to facing the wave with his single nodachi in hand and prepared for the hit that would either capsize the ship and kill all inhabitants or be sliced down to nothing more than a simple meaningless wave.

Grabbing a hold of her comrades wrist Umi pulled him out and kicked off from the ship as it sank, letting his wrist go as they were a bit away from the ship and felt strangely calm as she looked down at the sinking ship before being struck by slight uncertain guilt.

What if they had left more survivors down in that wreckage? What if they were now fighting for their life down there?

Feeling her lungs scream out for air made her realize she should really start swimming towards the surface. From her effort to swim through that hole in the ship had put a strain on her already tired body also the pain was slowing her down significantly and she could only feel the fish digging more into her flesh the more she moved her arm.

She could see the ladder on the side of the ship and she was trying to swim towards it, but it felt like it was much farther away than it actually was and her tired body didn't want to comply. She could also feel her injuries and loss of air getting to her as the adrenaline that had kept her going slowly started fading away. Using the last tiny strength and effort she had left she started swimming towards the ladder and hoped that her comrade was doing better than her.

Xio felt his grip loosen. He was shurgged off, and the armless man Xio believed was going to save him, took off. Damn... Guess my time's up thought Xio lifelessly, floating in the water.

Several bubbles of air left Xio's mouth as he started to lose his breath. Before Xio lost all hope, he noticed Lero returning. Now he began noticing the details. The man was clearly hurt already, he had several injuries on his bodies and he saw a little bit of blood leave Lero's mouth.

Maybe he was another survivor? No, he seemed to alive. The men next to him were brutalized and dead. Xio was beat pretty bad, he still didn't know how he was alive. The injuries prevented him from moving or he would be out- nah it was partly laziness as well. Xio probably could push himself, but he still didn't know how much more his body could take.

Feeling the marine get a hold of him, he prayed he could get them out. The ship was going to sink. Then he realized he wasn't going with him. Xio attempted to scream but forgot he was under water, swallowing some water as he was kicked out of the ship.

Flying out of the surface Xio gasped for air. Stretching his arms, he attempted to grab some debris or part of the ship so he could stay afloat. Xio was panting pretty hard... man he was never so thankful for air until today. Xio stared at the water as he waited for the marine to come out as well.

Finally. He was out from that hell, he couldn't take it anymore. His lungs were begging for air, he swam towards the surface. Poking his head out of the cold sea, he panted heavily and got his well deserved air. However something still annoyed him... oh yes, that fish was still chewing his leg. He grabbed it's tail and tugged, removing it from his limb. He then chucked it away, hoping that it won't come back to finish off his leg. He wasn't too worried about Lero, he was more than sure that Kuroba was capable of making his way out.

The salt water burnt his wound but that was the least of his problems at the moment. Matt spotted a ladder by the side of the ship and began to swim towards it, it seemed the woman had the same idea. Noticing the fish on the woman's arm, Matt became shocked. She dragged him all the way up here... with that fish digging into her arm? That was it. He needed to pay her back big time.

Once they got onto the ship, he would attempt to remove the fish from her arm.

Black Clover Bastards: The Harpoon Island Terror DIJbReH

Watching as the lazy soldier shot out of the ship and into the sky Lero felt the ship sliding past him leaving him floating in his position, until the edge caught his coat and begun to drag him down.

His eyes widened and body panicked. Placing a foot forwards he begun to focus trying to calm his body and stop his air running out. Biting his lip to keep his mouth from opening Lero placed both feet forward.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot: Dual Air Hare

Kicking with both feet, Lero was propelled backwards away from the gap into the wall. Smacking it hard with his back he grunted and started to swim. This time managing to make it through the gap, Lero shot up and through it heading towards the water's surface. A full two minutes had gone past since he propelled the other marine up, but it felt so much longer.

Bursting out and arriving into the surface air filled his lungs and Lero grunted as his lungs hurt. Catching sight of Summers & two other survivors in the distance he begun to swim towards them.

Looking overboard the recruits aboard the ship signaled towards the webbing hanging over the side of the ship calling out to the marines in the water.

Catching sight of the four of them the commanding officer was shocked and climbed aboard the figurehead of the ship.

"There's webbing hanging down this side of the ship. Hurry up and climb up!"

"Looks like the wave is getting closer."

"Yea, so it seems."

Tightening their grips on in their blades both commodores grinned and leapt towards the 50ft wave.

Slicing the wave in a horizontal fashion Icable launched a projectile into the air cutting through the wave from top left to bottom right.

Poseidon Split

Swinging his blades like wild moving at such speed they became almost invisible the other commodore launched out a cross hatched projectile towards the entire wave.

Cross Hatch Killer

With these projectiles launched and both Commodores landing on the ship with their blades sheathed these projectiles greeted the wave. Watching in shock the entire ship dropped their jaws and watched as the two men turned to return to the lower decks to probably continue their nap.

"Wake us up wen we arrive at the next island." a voice called out as they vanished out of sight down the stairs. The wave was no more and now the rain grew heavier as parts of the wave rained down over the ship.

Umi was barely aware of what was going on around her anymore.

How much blood had she lost? Probably quite a bit. Was her ankle broken? Probably a possibility. Was her body tired from all the physical effort she had just put it through? Absolutely. Did she have the remaining strength to climb up onto the ship and pull the fish that was biting into her arm off? Maybe.

A positive thing though was that she saw that there were more survivors except for her. Well like one or two but it was still something.

Breathing heavily as she fought to stay afloat in the rough sea Umi tried to manage a smile at her comrades but it just came out as an awkward grimace from all the pain she was in besides the fact that she also was feeling a tad lightheaded from the recent lack of oxygen.

The wave that was cut into pieces was a bit hard to miss though.

She probably would have reacted strongly to the sight if she hadn't been feeling so sore and beat up but she was still very impressed at the sight of it. But she had more important things to do, such as keeping herself from drowning and getting onto the ship. So after a bit of self motivation and one last big effort Umi managed to get herself up the webbing and somehow over the railing before just falling face flat onto the deck (her chest cushioned the fall for her a bit though) and just stayed there, too exhausted to even make an effort to get up again.

Crap. The marine wasn't coming out, and the ship was sinking. His attention was then changed to a nearby ship. There was a marine flag, so Xio knew he was going to be saved. But maybe not in time... a huge wave was approaching, and all that struggling still might be for nothing.

Suddenly, the wave was cut in half. Wow. The marines aboard that ship must be strong, the guys who cut it must be at least captain. Xio couldn't even do that despite his swordsmanship. Maybe they could teach him a thing or two, assuming he stayed aboard the ship for a while.

Soon, the ship arrived to the area. He noticed two survivors, maybe some others but he couldn't see them. Xio attempted to swim, barely making it. Holding onto the webbing/ladder, Xio could barely pull himself. "I need some help!" Xio yelled. He already pushed himself getting there, they could just pull him up.

Matt climbed aboard the ship, just in time to see two men cut through a massive wave. His jaw dropped in amazement, these men were so badass! He needed to be more like them if he was ever gonna be a real hero. Hearing someone plead for help, Matt approached the call right away. It was coming from a guy at the bottom of the ladder, the man had awfully long arms.

"No need to fear! Justice is here!" Matt yelled out, despite the fact that the man was only a short distance away from him.

He offered the man a hand, his chest area stung. A broken rib? Oh well. He needed to help this man first, then tend to his wounds later.

Watching as Summers helped the survivor he'd saved Lero smiled and nodded to him, he was proud to see Summers really coming into his own. It was a step up from wearing the bloody helmet. A real hero helped someone just because they needed help without needing a disguise.

Using his feet to swim towards the webbing, Lero just faced another challenge. Placing a barefoot into the webbing, Lero realized he'd lost his footwear in the ocean. Shrugging this off he took a second to breath, feeling his lungs hurt again he did his best to ignore it.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot: Air Hare

Managing to push off from the webbing held in place, Lero shot into the air. Landing aboard the marine ship on his bare feet with blood trickling down from his leg. He landed before falling to a knee and coughing up some blood.

The commanding officer cast a glance towards the soldiers and the two survivors who arrived along with them.

"Men get these two to the medical bay and begin treatment immediately." Looking at the officer in shock the men aboard the deck seemed to think he was talking Greek.

"NOW!" he shouted.

Nodding three men lifted Xio and carried him down the stairwell to the medical bay where they placed him on a bed. Two more helped Umi up the webbing and guided her down the stairs, one on each arm and led her to a bed opposite Xio.

Approaching Summers the commanding officer handed him his bag with his helmet in side.

"Here's your bag kid, good job too. You best report to the medical bay too, doesn't look like your too badly injured, but I think you should just get checked out, y'know. Just in case."

Heading towards the pained Lero who lay on the deck the officer helped him up to his feet. Lero simply sat down with his back against the ship's railings. Sitting beside him the officer noticed something between his toes.

"I see you brought us back a souvenir."

Noticing he was talking about the feather Lero nodded.

"This, is a sign that White Wing was here. There front of that ship was covered in feathers as were the corpses."

"Well from what we found out, the ship was a prison ship carrying a few prisoners."

"So White Wing probably broke them out. Right we need to find out who these criminals he broke out are."

"I'll get one of my best men on it asap."

"Right, in the mean time, I'll need a trip to the medical bay myself."

"I won't lie, you do look pretty beat up."

"That's not the problem, this is." Lero hoisted up his trouser leg with the other foot to reveal a badly infected bite mark on his leg where the eel had bitten him.

"You've been poisoned?"

"One of those bastarding Dart Eels"

Helping Lero to his feet the commanding officer began to help the limping Lero down the stairs to the medical wing. He would need all the help he could get right now. Not that he'd want to admit it though.

"One last thing." Lero said as he reached the door. Looking at Lero curiously the officer had a puzzled look on his face.

"Whats that?"

"Set course for Harpoon Island, we can pick up some intel on these prisoners from the local HQ there."

((OOC: There will be a time skip now, so all of your posts should be two days later. We've only just arrived at Harpoon Island and we're all still aboard the ship. Don't mention anything to do with the island yet.))

Black Clover Bastards: The Harpoon Island Terror Empty Re: Black Clover Bastards: The Harpoon Island Terror

Post by bunbunny Sat Apr 12, 2014 9:24 am

Umi had pretty much fell asleep as soon as the doctors had patched her up. Really the thing she had been doing the most the last few days was sleeping and recovering from the concussion she had had. The rest of the time when she had been awake she had spent trying to read and communicate with her comrades, one going slightly better than the other.

She had even tried to hobble around a bit on her swollen wrist just to see how well she could walk. It didn't really go very well for her but it worked slightly, even though it still hurt like a bitch. Mostly she just wanted to walk around because the moments she spent awake she was pretty restless and her back was hurting from all the laying around. Not that standing really helped since her chest felt heavier than usual when she did her awkward attempts to walk around.

But sleeping was nicer than hopping back and forth in the room.

Slowly opening her eyes Umi pushed herself into a sitting position in the bed she had spent the last two days in and looked around with slightly blurry vision in the room. Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes she then stretched and felt her spine pop a bit as she straightened it up. She could feel a slight hunger gnawing in her stomach but decided to dismiss it for now and reached for a glass of water that was beside her bed instead. Taking a few gulps she then put it back and reached for her notebook instead.

Flipping through it she grinned a bit at some of the things she had put down in it during silly conversations with her comrades. It was nice being able to relax like this for a while. Especially after you had been close to drowning like she had. It was a shame though that many people seemed shy to come and talk to her amongst her comrades. She wondered if it was something to do with the fact that she was a skypeian. Did her small wings distract them?
