Ibuki is a handsome young man. He has long black hair that reaches all the way down to the base of his back when untied and only goes below his shoulder when tied. and light brown eyes and a face that looks as though he is always staring intently at something.  He wears a complete ensemble of white. White shirt, white pants, and even white bandages that cover his body. If anyone were to guess that Ibuki was going with a theme it would be pure white. Over his white shirt he wears a white vest that is lined with black stripes. Ibuki stands at 5'11 and weighs around 156lbs and 9 ounces. He wears two blades on his waist and carry 15 throwing knives in his sleeves which he uses for battles.


Personality: Ibuki is the curious type, he is always poking his nose into things that he knows little about. Not only that when something catches his interest he begins to focus on every single aspect of it. Then once he figures everything about it he tends to lose interest in it immediately. Which unfortunately means he is quick to get bored of things. Ibuki also doesn't speak much, not because he can't speak but because he doesn't know how to speak in English. Ibuki doesn't know alot of English seeing as both his parents don't speak it. He can read it easily for the most part but when it comes to speaking and hearing it he gets lost. Ibuki is absolutely helpless when it comes to romance, mainly for his inability to speak. He has a hard time noticing whether or not someone is interested in him or not. So unless you want to be in a relationship with a lot of awkward silence and communication issues, this is Ibuki. Other than his inability to speak English he is the average guy, he likes to be entertained, he takes interest in the opposite gender. He is loyal to his friends and tends to succumb to guilty pleasures which for him is reading erotic novels alone under the sun. When it comes to his swordplay, he takes it with utmost importance. He loves swordsplay and watching people battle between blades, so much so that it is the only thing that has kept his interest for a long period of time.


Character History


Background
Ibuki was born on a deserted island in the west blue where the only inhabitants were him and his parents. His father was a former marine and pirate who never really had luck when it came in either profession. He only had one arm and a long scar over his right eye. He didn't speak for the most part due to him losing his hearing in an explosion while fighting against a marine ship. Ibuki's mother on the other hand was a seamtress who at one point became a revolutionary and after years of service to the revolution she settled down with Ibuki's father away from the prying eyes of the world government. They met in their youth before either one of them changed professions. His father was still able bodied and his mother was still a seamstress. His mother couldn't speak either though unlike his father she had never could. After the initial meeting they separated and hadn't seen each other for years. Until one day they met again on the day of their mutual friend's wedding. Afterwards they seemed to be inseparable. A year later they decided to get married. Months later Ibuki's parents decided to leave their marital home and move elsewhere. Marines had begun to sniff around the island looking for Ibuki's father and mother. His father for being a pirate at the time and his mother for being a former revolutionary. Ibuki's father didn't like to ride on traveling ships as they seemed to get attacked by pirates alot. So for the most part they picked up a map and decided to ride on a boat to a place wouldn't be bothered. It didn't take long for them to find an island. A month after finding a island they decided to settle down and Ibuki was born. Ibuki could speak and hear well enough but unfortunately there wasn't much of a point to teaching the boy language skills in the deserted island, mainly because their was something much more dangerous out their. The parents spent most of their time keeping an eye and ear out on their surroundings instead of dealing with teaching how to speak when half of them couldn't hear and the half that could hear couldn't respond. Fortunately there were other ways for humans to communicate without words. Whether it was Morse code or sign language, the family for the most part always had a way of communicating with each other. Ibuki's mother had already learned sign language when she was a child and his father learned morse code when he was in the marines. They taught eachother what they knew and finally taught Ibuki what they knew.

Ibuki's mother was the main one who taught him to read and feed himself, his father took it upon himself to teach Ibuki how to fight. At first it was how to hunt, then how to fight fist to fist, then it evolved to swordplay. Ibuki found himself having a tough time reading but when it came to fighting, Ibuki found himself soaking the information like a sponge. Everything that his father demonstrated was saved into a folder withing Ibuki's mind and replicated perfectly when needed. This came to be what Ibuki considered his talent. He could mimic things perfectly, even when hunting he found himself mimicking animal's actions so as to get a better understanding of them so he could track them down. He lived his 18 years of life on the island with a cycle of reading, training, and hunting. Until one day.

His father came up to him and handed him a letter. Ibuki opened the letter and found that it had something to do with the revolutionary army. Ibuki read through the letter and looked up at his father. In Morse code his father typed out how much he always wanted Ibuki to be a revolutionary as both piracy and marine life is hell. He compared being a marine as being the government's dog waiting for the beck and call, that justice to them does not exist. Pirates were merely wild hounds ready to snap at the nearest piece of meat. That both sides were only going to destroy the other unless someone changes something. Ibuki's father believes that Ibuki could be the one to help it happen. After hours of conversing in the way the two do, Ibuki packed his bags and began jump on a raft so he could make his way to a revolutionary crew.


Abilities:

• Acrobatic - As Ibuki moved through the island their were many small corner and cracks that require him to squeeze himself in small places or position himself to get out of situations. The amount of control he had to have over his body to survive in the island gave him acrobatic skill.
  
• Eidetic Memory - Once Ibuki has seen something once, he will have a hard time forgetting it. There isn't really a way to explain it, he was just born with it.
  
• Trained Senses- He is able to hear the slightest disturbance in the area surrounding him, smell if anything is wrong with his food. He had to rely on his senses to survive in the enviorment he lived in. So as he found himself relatively alone in the island his senses sharpened to help him survive.
  
• Able to read emotions through body language- this came from the lack of verbal communication between him and his family. Most can read body language. Though Ibuki had to use this to gauge the emotions and communicate with his parents so he is abit more receptive to things of that nature than other people.

Weapon Special Abilities: Lined with seastone, it neutralizes devil fruit user's power when it comes into contact with them.

Weapon History: Given to Ibuki before he left from home by his father. He received it during his time in the marines, before he loss his arm. Ibuki's father has kept it with him for years, it is one of the few possessions Ibuki's father had of his time when he believed in the meaning of marine justice. He used it to fight against Devil fruit using pirates and defend himself from the like when he became a pirate. It was issued to him when he became a Corporal in the marines and he stole it when he left. He felt that Ibuki would need it a lot more than he did.

Weapon History: Recieved from his father before he left. His father bought these in the North Blue when he was a pirate. He bought them to protect himself from losing his other arm. He kept it after he stopped being a pirate that he took it back with him when he quit.

Combat Information

Unarmed Combat:

Waver- A style the Ibuki uses to constantly avoid an opponent's technique. He loosens his body and begins to rock ever so slightly. When an opponent decides to attack Ibuki will rock back and forth in anyway to avoid an attack.

Counter Strike- A move that revolves around the boxing style counter. Ibuki will for the most part attempt to dodge a attack and strike back bear handed toward and unprotected spot of the opponent's body within his sight.

Weapon Based Combat:

Crescent Slash- Ibuki swings his sword in a single, large, crescent moon-shaped arc. He slashes his blade at a high velocity in a very limited span of time to be usable in times where little thinking time is allotted.

Reverse Crescent Slash- Ibuki does a powerful spin, generating the momentum needed to slash at any opponents behind him. The he also utilizes this spinning motion to trick an enemy that's in front of them. The enemy is fooled into thinking the user will attack them, but instead the user attacks the targets behind the user.

Ever changing Stream- Ibuki slashes diagonally but in midway he drops the sword, switching hands, before finishing the attack.

Drawing Slash - Ibuki performs a quick and powerful slash with their sword in order to cut the intended target, before immediately resheathing the blade afterwards. This technique is usually used as a one hit, all or nothing kill and can cut through a lot of things in one slash.

-With the bio can you please elaborate more on the explanation of his parents such as how did they wind up on a deserted island? How did his parents get together? Where did they learn everything they learnt etc etc. The whole communication thing just feels a little bit unexplained.

-With all weapons can you add more to the history, explain where the weapons actually originated from. Such as you've put they came from his father. Where did his father get them from, why did he get them and why he chose to get sea stone imbued weaponry etc.

Other than these minor issues theres nothing glaring at me that stands out as a huge problem that would render this character unapprovable.
