A Greyer World: Duff And Vaetric [SERIOUS]

Walking along, Zelda would keep him on her shoulder. She’d walk by the houses, some people would be having a scruff over a bag she didn’t’ care for. She passed by the entrance to the sewers which looked more like an entrance to a cave than anything else. She passed by the mansions and the black-clothed men who had tuxedos as well as black fedoras. They were the much feared enforcers of the island, most marines who end up on the place are either brought or dead, sometimes both. They soon walked past the town and began to walk through the forest. It was rather dangerous for people who didn’t know the ropes. On the island, everything was a mammal. Everything. She cut through a tree that came too close, before continuing on. Probably the only safe place was a spot imbetween two cliffs, which was way too high for them. Once she reached it, she would remove the bandages once they were there.
 
It was a rather nice looking haven, with water, rocks.. Grass.. That was about it. She would look down at him expectantly.

Upon being unbinded he take a quick look around his surroundings, she must have done this on purpose. He didn't know his way around now, and even less so due to her blind folding him through the entire walk, a true test of survival was seen in the back of his head. He cracked his knuckles and also cracked other bones in his body before taking a look at his hands. He briefly allowed darkness to ascend from his flesh before stopping. He looked down to his bladed boots and circulated his ankle a bit before standing up. He'd lift up his leg to test the blades reaction time and it seemed to be synced with the trigger within the boot. He sighed before noticing that Zelda had been looking at him, he perked his eyes up to hers and stood their awaiting to see what she would do, of course the training could just start right now or maybe she'd finally speak? who knows...Duff could only wait to see what this woman had in store for him on this island he hadn't recognized.

Zelda continued to stare at him for a couple of moments, before jumping away. She would slide down the little oasis of non-life which was the absolute safest place on the island, seeing as the human portion of the place was just as bad. She ran alongside the mammals that were alerted to her presence, changing her blades into arms she disappeared into the forest as she aimed to make up the killing balance from not destroying the boy.
