Take the Caravan [Solo] Empty Take the Caravan [Solo]

Rain could be heard throughout the forest. The small rain drops touched the tips of the leaves to the bottom of the soft ground ready to soak up the water. Tengu sat on a stone under one of the overly large leaves that worked as an umbrella for him. There he sat looking at his comrades. Today they would be attacking a human caravan in order to get supplies. Being bandit they couldn't very well get any through buying them. So they had to do it the only way they could, by stealing them.  Tengu took a deep breath as he began looking for a suitable target. One had to be careful when picking a prey, Tengu didn't want one of the nations after him and he didn't want his party to get wiped out by a more experience group. Picking a perfect prey was imperative to surviving in the forest.

Tengu's eyes scanned the forest till it came to a single carriage that seemed to slowly be moving through the forest. he found it strange that there was a carriage moving through the forest without protection. It seemed to be easy pickings. So much so that he contemplated even sending his men after it. Weighing the options he decided that he might as well see who was inside of the carriage. Sending two of his fastest men, he sent them to secure the carraige. The two bandits jumped high into the air, their swords facing downwards and planned to pierce through the top of the carriage. he had begun running towards to the carriage once his subordinates had begun engaging the target.

The Tengu stood on the edge of the vine looking down as a caravan moved down the path. His eye twitched as he scanned through the caravan looking for an easy steal. The Caravan was being guarded by some normal humans. The Tengu smiled at the idea of tearing through their flesh with his fangs. They were foolish to think they could move through the Bandit King's territory with such little protection. It was up to The Tengu to show them the error of their ways.

With a quick contraction and release of The Tengu's muscles he was airborne. His body was free falling toward the caravan. The Tengu had his eyes on the gold and other things the caravan had to offer. Unfortunately he felt that he would be outnumbered so he had no choice. If he wanted to take what he wanted he was going to have to attack out of nowhere. Landing on one of the carriages he found himself in the middle of a pile of supplies. A large grin formed on The Tengu's face as he prepared himself. He was going to be taking this caravan for himself.

Take the Caravan [Solo] Empty Re: Take the Caravan [Solo]

Once he started approaching the target he saw flames fly from the target. Once he got close enough he saw 5 humans. Two looked like warriors, two looked like archers, and one familiar red head was the mage. he's eyes widened and his face slowly contorted into a scowl at the sight of the mage. He knew her, quite well in fact. Some would call her his master, others would call her his kind's executioner. he merely called her, Cecelia. Every fiber of his body wanted to jump from his current position and attack her as memories of his siblings and his fellow monsters came to his mind. Yet he kept his body calm as he watched to see how the humans dealt with his subordinates. The warriors and archers had trouble dealing with the two monsters leading he to believe that they were merely novices. Cecelia however was able to effortlessly kill off he's subordinates with no problem.

he cursed. He didn't expect for the two to die. At most he expect injuries, but after seeing them die he knew he couldn't walk away without making a move. Revealing himself he called out to Cecelia, his eyes were sharp as his human form grew bulkier and slightly hairier. Cecelia seeing Tengu frowned and quickly began chanting some sort of mantra. Tengu wasted no time in telling his men to attack. Kicking off Tengu rushed toward Cecelia. His claws and fangs were posed in order to tear out her throat. Though a unlucky archer decided that they would be a hero and tried to jump in Tengu's way in order to protect the mage and snipe her attacker. That archer instead of killing Tengu, received a punctured lung and a view of his blood leaving his chest. Cecelia however didn't miss a beat as she finished her mantra. She clashed with Tengu. Tengu cursed. He cracked his knuckles. It seemed this wasn't going to be as easy as he thought.

The Tengu jumped out from the carriage and lifted his borrowed sword from it's sheath. With a single swipe he cut down the closest guard to the Caravan. The sound of the man's scream and the sight of fresh blood caused the Tengu's blood lust to emerge. He could feel it deep down, that a fight was about to ensue. Blood lust exploded from Tengu's body alerting every guard of his presence. This fight was going to hopefully satisfy the blood lust Tengu was permeating.

The guard noticing Tengu wasted no time drawing their swords and rushing at the older gentleman. Holding his sword Tengu merely tried to maintain his position. He wasn't taking the offensive or the defensive. He was just holding his own against the guards. He didn't want the fight to end to quickly. He wanted to enjoy every moment that he possibly could against the obviously weaker opponents. He could feel it, if he actually took it seriously he would easily end them.

Take the Caravan [Solo] Empty Re: Take the Caravan [Solo]

The guards had trouble keeping up with The Tengu's movements. It was obvious that the Tengu wasn't even trying. The Tengu had already killed one of them with minimal amount of effort. For him this was no different than a small training exercise, yet for the caravan guards this was a battle between life and death. The Island was known for their bandits, they could only blame themselves if they lost their lives this far into the journey.

Rai lifted the blade he had stolen from the caravan as he knocked away each and every guard that came his way. Cecilia made an escape. The Tengu's blood lust was slowly dwindling as he felt himself become more and more disappointed with his opponents after Cecilia left. He expected a battle, not a slaughter. It took everything in him not to just yawn at his opponent. After he was sure that they weren't getting up he began to secure all of the caravans supplies. But before he could take the supplies he turned back towards the bodies of the unconscious guards. A evil grin formed. The Tengu had an idea brewing.

Afterwards The Tengu planned to burn the bodies flames began to form from a lighter. With a flick of his finger a flame flew from The Tengu's hand to the fallen body of the guards. Once the flame came into contact with the body, the flames began to rose. The flames engulfed the bodies of guards. No scream could be heard from the men smothered in flames. The Tengu watched as the flames slowly draw the life from each and of the guards. He felt his muscles loosen and any pain on his body dissipate.

Once he finished with the bodies he began to load them up onto the caravan. While most found things like this relatively useless, The tengu saw it a little different. No longer was he carrying humans. He was carrying charcoal, this charcoal would be useful in warming the camps. The Tengu thought. Not only that, Tengu thought it would be a waste for him to leave the body so that some other bandit could take it.

After packing everything into the Caravan he set off back toward the Bandit King's encampment. He was disappointed in his catch for the moment. The fight he was in was so lackluster, so uninteresting, so boring. There was nothing about his opponent that Tengu could really take notice of. As far as he was concerned there was no reason for him to come out in the first place. He might as well make one of his subordinates take the mission and bring back everything that they found. So for the 3rd Commanding leader of the Bandits this was quite disappointing.

THe Tengu rode the Caravan through the forest, his eyes were trained on the greenery surrounding him. He was quite interested in the plant life that lived in the forest. He wondered if the forest housed any monster plants that could attack people. Such a thing would be useful for the Horde. Or better yet, a plant that could produce an endless supply of food. There was so much that Tengu could search for in the Island. After delivering his goods he was definitely going to see what he could find in the forest.
